Azeroth has long been in a great war between two major factions, the Horde and the Alliance. In recent years things have escalated to where many in Azeroth can no longer survive. They call upon Netherspite and Chronormu to create a portal to a new land, away from the conflict. That is where they find Méa. A land rich with wildlife and resources, where the water gives many soothsaying powers.
This is my first 135+ card expansion which I finished a while ago, but recently went under some maintenance as I wasn't happy with a decent number of the cards. Most of the art used in this expansion is from the card game Faeria, which has an excellent concept, but bad monetary system.
The new keyword introduced in this expansion is Foresee:
The cards would show up in a discover-like interface, where the button normally used to temporarily hide the cards would stop showing them to you.
Not a new concept in customhearthstone, but I feel the way it has been used has been to the fullest. Note: Dormant and Reborn are both used in this expansion.
I want to say a big thank you to many people who helped make this expansion, Steli, Wass, Spaceturtle and Aflag are but a few.
Although this was mostly a solo project where I created 141/145 cards, Aflag was the creator of: Jaspar, Exploration, Sky Surveyor and Chief Shonaka.
So here are the 145 cards, feedback would be appreciated and anything you think could be improved! (Included in this expansion is my favourite custom card that I've made, bet you won't be able to guess which it is!) For reference this expansion was technically finished first before AoO.
Hi, I agree with a lot of what you've said. Thank you for commenting and what you've said is very nice. As a response to what you pointed out:
Mother Dragon probably should be a 5/7 or 6/6 but I can't see it being any good with any fewer stats
I stand by Minitank as I do think it belongs more in a control list as a large threat because it just costs too much to be viable in an aggro deck, but I will take into consideration your comments for future cards like it.
Tomb Exploration went through a lot of phases because I wanted the idea of shuffling something in using that art. Now I look back on it, it probably should've been three mana or I should've taken some more time on the idea (possibly as a shaman card instead).
The totem does work how you think it does and often I do find myself making shaman cards too weak so I can agree with your overall thoughts on its cards (Merchant could've easily been a 4/5 or 3/6).
The "it" in Beach Scavenger is referring to your hero, being a 3/1 with a small conditional downside of dealing damage to your hero. I do agree with your assessment of the other two and think the mana costs could be swapped (making the minion a 3/4 so it's harder to remove).
Hi, my name is Meepazor and I'd like to show my most recent complete expansion, Rafaam vs Explorers 3. This is a small One Night in Karazhan style expansion that would probably be accompanied by an adventure that I'm never going to make.
The lore behind it: After two failed attempts of first working alone, then working with Azeroth's greatest villains, Rafaam is trying one last time to take over Azeroth, and this time he's going for numbers. He's got armies of Murlocs, Mechs and Dragons aiming to overwhelm the League of Explorers and take what is rightfully his. Follow your favourite four characters in their last battle versus the evil Rafaam and finally put an end to his schemes.
