This system of bonus stars combined with winning streaks will actually help veterans to climb the ladder very quickly. But once you loose all your bonus stars (after reaching ranked floors) you will have to grind your way up to legend as usual. You can get a max of 8 bonus stars. You loose one per floor. So if I am not wrong...Diamond 10 is rank 5.
Demon Hunter has my attention. It seems like it's gonna be an aggro/tempo/mid range class. I would like to see it counter balance rogue, Hunter and shaman.
No chance. They would never change the costs. A lot will disagree but, the ratio is balanced. The more you reduce the costs (or increase the dusts), the less people will buy packs, and that is affecting the real world economy. And I think it would do more damage to Blizzard than help F2P players.
So, how to help F2P, but not affecting the economy? I don't know.
Ok that's a valid point. But if they could do it in a flexible way. Example: We know that legendary cards are a must in most decks specially the decks that matter in the meta. If they reduce slightly the cost of crafting legendaries then F2P players probably would be able to craft decks that don't have access to just because the cost of crafting legendaries is prohibitive. I know, this could affect negatively the economy of the game but it could as well as boost the game as more F2P players would have the opportunity to climb the ladder...money is important for a publisher but so is the number of active players they have..
Edwin VanCleef - it's time for Rogue to stop being able to steal wins with an early Edwin. This card is used in too many Rogue decks, and I feel a change is needed to keep things fresh.
Leeroy Jenkins - I'm torn about this. Leeroy I have a love/hate relationship with. Having a Charge minion for an aggro finisher is important to the health of the meta. But really, how many more years are we going to be able to put up with hearing "Leeeeroy Jenkins!!!" right before we die? It's a classic card, with amazing flavor. I appreciate everything this card is... but I think it's time to send him out of Standard.
I am not sure if you have read the reddit post. I just quoted what the streamers said about these two classes. This is not a debate about what fun is or should be. It's all about what to expect from the next expansion/rotation. What I noted in the comments and are interesting (and hopefully true) are:
Quality of the cards? Good quality of the cards, new archetypes, reinterpretation of some mechanics
Did Blizzard take f2p players into consideration? Yes, big improvements for F2p and for the cost of the game
Will the meta change? Yes for the rotation, for new exp and there will be other news that will help this
Which class attracts you most? Hunter , there will be a fusion of 2 mechanics that works great.
Mage? it's the most fun class
Priest? It will suck
Warrior? A tank
Rogue? I lost 8 games in a row against it
Shaman? Some cards op others bad 7/10
More fun class for you? Hunter
Druid? Undertone even if there are 2 or 3 op cards
Paladin? Will have a "new identity" that impressed me a lot 8/10
Is the new exp balanced? Yes except two or 3 cards
Is the new mechanic cool? It's very skillbased
Which is the class that will sucks the most? Priest.

This is probably due to your MMR it also affects the bonus stars..
its rank 15
Reached rank 3 last season got 10 bonus stars. Played 18 matches to get to Platinum 10.
rank 5 is diamond 10 yeah
If it's magnetized how does it duplicate...buffed or original state? if it duplicates buffed...it's gonna be a really powerful card.
Nice 5/4 on turn 3 with coi
Blizz going for a viable spell mage? I'm all for it but I don't think this is happening before next expansion.
"Ignore Taunt"? Oh my!!!
Wow! Considering the possible synergies with other cards, this is an excellent Hunter card!! I'll craft it for sure!
Nice clear board against aggro decks with a body. Playable.
Demon Mage incoming..

Agreed I would add Malygos
They could revamp the dusting and crafting costs...

Read a post about some comments from streamers who attended the summit. Seems legit

for the coming expansion...I love Hunter too it's all good!! Bad news for priest apparently..
