The Devs took out all the cards that gave mage it's best decks which was tempo mage. Now we have all these useless cards that gives Mage these average control decks and they want us to buy them? LMAO!!
Could not join the beta because I live in Thailand and it took support a very long time to answer my ticket about about login problems. I was not clear enough that some regions were not in the beta. Bad communication not a good sign: I'll stay away from the game.
The hero just killed this card. It had a lot of potential. The is the worst hero power ever as it can make you loose the game. Blizz had no problem giving Hagatha and Rexxar really cool hero powers. Most of Galakrond hero powers are good. But for Mage...I am really starting to believe that the devs have a thing against mage...they really don't like this class..
Hum I had already planned a long break from HS seeing how the meta was unbalanced....this second wave of balance changes is a good move. I will come back and give it a try. Good move devs!
However, it gives some useful insights nonetheless (Legend rank still extremely hard to achieve, Rank 10-1 population more than doubled,...).
I believe there is a misperception about the feat of reaching Legend. It is undeniably hard, the question is why. All players reaching regularly rank 5 (which some call soft legend) are skilled players. With the winning streak bonus one could think it's easy to reach rank 5, the data proves otherwise (only 6%). Now take out the winning streak bonus and you have that long road from rank 5 to legend. In fact, reaching legend does not reward your skills it rewards your resilience. Any skilled player with a good deck can reach legend if he puts in the hours. A pro player will put in less hours than the others but the time they take to reach legend is long enough that it can be qualified as grinding. I don't consider grinding as being a feat..it's just one of these game design tricks forcing you to spend a certain amount of time in game to give you that sense of achievement, a decent challenge for your money's worth. Grinding is acceptable if it's well implemented. In the case of HS the grinding is ok ...what I don't agree with is the way the legend status is being sold to us as an achievement based on skill/talent.
Create a Fireside today...I can only play the brawls and friendly matches. I could unpack my cards during the Fireside gathering of the last expansion.

Fix mage and give this class the means to fit its identity. Aggro/mid range decks...capable of huge bursts. Bring Tempo Mage back!!!

Happy for you guys if HS was great last year....not for me....HS is unbalanced AF imo... taking a break until April...still a huge fan of the game.

And they finally did it....We have waited for this tech card for ages...actually this should be a classic card.
Those who complaining about this card are probably warrior or druid players....stop whining guys...it's like
a weapon removal any decent deck should have one.
Solid cheap, lifesteal, "discover dragon" card. Buffed with lifesteal...this card is gonna be in Paladin decks. Paladin is getting good cards
compared to mage (my main)...really disappointed..
Wow! Hero power + this weapon is 5 dmg per turn. Dragon Face Hunter is coming
Could be of some use in a Big minions deck, specially if your opponent is aggro...
A weak Doomsayer, but it can efficiently prevent aggro decks from developing their board in the first turns so it could see play..
Now this is what I call a meta defining card. It will be used and abused. This will be so sick that it will
probably be nerfed after a few weeks...
This + Hakkar, the Soulflayer is Quest Druid's nightmare.
