Well the first one is 6 damage, for all 3, but also you can cast 4 of these with Tamsin Roame so that damage scales significantly.

It's hard to spot any red in the artwork of Redgill Razorjaw.

That's because they released the Snyder cut.

You know they've actually said it was not true after sometime. I just don't know what to believe anymore

Richard Garfield had a famous quote, that I can't quite find, that was something in the way of, "Never deny cool." Which is to say if someone finds a really cool coincidence or story link or thematic link, claim it. Maybe the kids are just some random kids of different races (not like different races are unheard of or anything in WoW) and some of the mercenaries just so happen to match those races, it makes for a far more compelling narrative if you say those kids then are our mercenaries now.

Or better yet they have more then a singular pay-off to what you're doing, or have the thing you're doing be something that is inherently good and that you don't necessarily need a pay-off for.

There's always the possibility that priest gets some incentive to run spell damage as well, or Mo'arg for that matter. It's possible that priest is heavy control priest and having 8 clears and supporting stuff is the plan.

I agree with the sentiment though, this is an Arcane explosion in a class that really can't (right now) support synergizing it's abilities.

This is good with Wretched Tutor though and that is a card priest can already support very well, especially later with Apotheosis

It's okay mate, we don't blame you. We're all grateful you put your time into keeping us informed.

I feel there's a decent chance Priest remains a class that generates cards and has the possibility of "stumbling" upon these in a longer matchup as well. I think it's probably fringe playable as is though. Lots of very good cards only make it to fringe playable. Hell it took ~7 months to figure out that Ogremancer is one the best things you can be playing in this meta.

Odd mage was basically just a variation of Mage though, because once you slammed Frost Lich Jainna it didn't really matter what your cards were so much.

I'm perfectly fine with ETC not being an OTK card.

If you really hate priest you'll play Classic. We'll see.

It is also important to notice that while some classes are clearly over the top right now, what most players (like Casie) suggested is buffing rather than nerfing - something we've been seeing since Ashes of Outland (when TorrentShattered Rumbler and The Lurker Below received a power-up) and that we'd love to see again.

Well there's the problem with buffs right there huh? All three of those cards still just suck compared to DH's Blade Dance. Honestly, I didn't even remember they got buffed. Nerfing the strongest cards is already inherently a buff to every other card, so it accomplishes more with less, while also helping to relieve meta fatigue by forcing the best cards out.

My personal suggestion would be that Blade Dance should consider only the equipped weapon's attack (but that would make it a very terrible card) or should consume the player's face swing for that turn.

We don't want to be too obvious that DH is just taking Old Rogue's Identity (Blade Flurry) do we? Hahaha.

We Should Still Enjoy the Expansion

I take umbrage with this point. I've been playing Hearthstone for 6 years. I WANT to keep playing and enjoying Hearthstone and for some reason the people that should want me to keep playing keep making it a more miserable experience. I opened my packs with my wife last night. We both got 1 or 2 legendaries in our 30-40 packs, which is significantly less then we usually have, and then we closed our clients. It's probably not so much that I couldn't make at least a deck, just that this whole debacle is draining my faith and my will to play. I just don't feel it anymore. At this point, I feel like I'm trying to force enthusiasm to play. Yeah the game is probably still good, when will I get to play it? I might have a few ladder competitive decks about the time a new mini-expansion drops and further changes the meta and then I'm right back to playing catch up again with an even worse system designed to keep me behind? Just, why?

Also, last expansion in order to stay F2P I dusted everything Hunter, Demon Hunter, and Druid. I've already cut myself down to 7 classes to try to continue to keep up. I've been considering dropping even more.

I'm 34 years old. I've gone through loss, I've grown apart from some great friends, and I've had to cut people out of my life that just weren't good for me. At this point I think Blizzard is one of those relationships that I still think I want to work but honestly my life would be better without. I know what I'm worth, and I'm worth more then this.

Dude that isn't a nerf, it just puts it in line with bannerman and every other allegience card, can you only post when you have a clue what you're talking about k thanks bye. Not to mention high level players are talking about the exact same thing, new set = pointless.

    ...

Think for yourself, for once. Swim isn't gonna tell you to which milk to buy.

It would be perfectly cheeky and petty if Swim released a milk tier list on his front page.

You always have control over Vargoth. As a tempo deck you're mostly going to be clearing the board, so if you have stuck a Vargoth and want to buff you need to clear to be sure but generally that's how you're going to be playing anyways, and a double-cast buff is going to snowball the board control anyways. Of course, you don't necessarily need to risk it, there's less risky cards like renew and raise dead you can utilize and your opponent will always scramble to remove Vargoth so even if you don't get a crazy amount of value from his ability he's going to eat some kind of removal basically guaranteed.

Also worth mentioning Vargoth counts spells before he was played like Kael'thas, so if you raise dead into a Vargoth you can play the Vargoth to get another raise dead cast. Make sure not to put yourself in the rez pool though.

It's amusing to me that when people ask for features the community jokes that *insert game/dev* is just a small indie game/dev and it's outside their means when we see these features implemented more often in the small indie games...

Duelyst, a card game played on a board shared some of these features, namely the web play mode so you could login anywhere (cough* work/school) and play. It also had match history and replays which HS sorely lacks but only for the last 10 matches I think, and didn't have a complete deck statistical history which is nice.

One thing it did have though which was a game changer to me, especially for a smaller game where it's harder to find those online resources, was a built-in match history for all the leagues/tiers, whatever you wanted to call them, of the last 10 games, 4 of the cards played from the deck, and you could watch a replay of the match from either players perspective. Basically you could see the meta at any time at any rank and basically have guides just from watching the best players play the decks out in real replays. Very cool. It's much more fun to "go fishing" for a new deck by watching someone in high ranks cheese a win with something goofy and then build it yourself then to find a proof of concept online.
