Ok, I was really tempted to go with Magnetic Fisher as a Paladin card, however, Warlock is my fav class and had a nice feedback, so Clutch of the Deep it is!

And now, another round of feedback:

    Show Spoiler

Dapperdog: It seens you wanted to keep the original flavour and text, that's fair, but I'll they you this, people here love flavourful cards that fits the competition theme. Also, you should DEFINALLY make an effort to make it 4 lines maximum and add the VttSC watermark, I know at least one guy here that will be quite pissed about it…

Neoguli: It seens you already submmited, but know that I think you choosed tthe best one.

Nirast: Honestly, I'll have to agree with Linkblade. It has flavour and an interesting effect, but it is kinda inconsistent and it is not really clear about where it wants to go. What about switch the effect to Legendary minions or 8+ cost minions instead of colossals and sunken cards? It loses a little bit of flavour but at least it will be more consistent and look more realistic. Also there's nothing wrong with the art, but it could definally be better.

BasilAnguis: Looks simple, flavourful and nice. I think you should change the art and mess with the statline a bit, but overall it is a very cool card.

Wailor: I'm in love with Blessing of the Ocean, amazing effect and flavor, Buuuuuuuuuut, I have a feeling that Yogg'Siren will do better, the flavour is also awesome and the art is pretty neat. The only suggestion I give is to raise the cost a bit and maybe make it targets enemies if possible. (and by the way, the name  Anchor Guy was just a place holder :P )

ChickyChick: Grotesmal is my favorite overall, however, it is quite problematic as Demon pointed out. That said, I think you should either go with Fussy Lobstradon and change it to a Beast, or make some adjustments to Grotesmal's Tentacles.

Alfi: Personally, I like it, quite solid and flavourful, for me you should just change "library" to "deck" and add the dot to the end and you're good to go. However, it seens some people here are confused and overthinking about the effect, that's definally not a good sign for your card, think about it before submmiting.

Hey there! I missed participating in these discussion threads, and since I have more free time now and no ongoing projects, I've decided to come back too! Anyhow, here's my cards. Quite a couple of cards here this time, but there's no need to comment on all of them, just your favorite is enough.

I used to watch some random Magnet Fishing videos to help me fall asleep, which is literally fishing, but with magnets instead of fishhooks, so I decided to bring that concept to Hearthstone with Mech synergy. And also a Curse lock card because I would love to see that archetype working some day.

    And now a quick feedback:

    Show Spoiler

Demonxz: I absolutely love the design and flavour of this, but I'm really not sure about the balance. Imagine a Gone Fishin' into Tuskarrrr Trawler into Swordfish. If you hypothetically manage to make a Dredge chain, this would be quite cancer, so less stats to make it less aggressive and/or easier to remove would do the trick IMO.

Linkblade: Simple, effective and flavourful, I like it a lot! And honestly, I think it looks way better as a mech instead of a pirate, that art is really fitting.

Hordaki: I like both, but I like Faceless Scavenger a bit more. One suggestion that I make is to either make it cost 4 or make it transform into the minion, the parallel to Faceless Manipulator is nice, but copying stats are far different than copying the whole minion gameplay wise.

BloodMefist: The trident looks nice, but Gaze into the Abyss flavour's amazing! Easy 5 stars for me, you should go with that one.

dapperdog: Your idea is very nice! But your card has some execution problems, its too wordy and the flavour is not quite there. Here's two suggestions for you: The card here is changed to a pirate hanging an anchor to a minion's leg who makes it go to the bottom of the sea (your deck) and brings a new one to replace the anchored bastard. Less wordy, and fits the Dredge flavour better, but of course, it's just a suggestion, do what your heart tells you.

UPDATE 2: Mohg had his time, now we'll handle the spotlight to his twin brother, Morgott, the omen king!

Morgott is here representing the Paladin and Demon Hunter classes, it might have seen like a weird combination even for those who played the game, but trust me, Morgott is as much as a righteous noble as an outcast freak. He comes from the noblest bloodline possible, but despite that, he and he's twin brother Mohg lived all their childhood in the sewers, all because of their Omen Curse, who basically makes one look like an ancient life form, and are considered abominations by the Golden Order, who's basically the religious elite of the game. But even after all the suffering and injustice caused to him, he eventually ascended to the throne after the Shattering War, and is now known as the last of all kings, ruler of Leyndell, the royal capital.

WARNING : Elden Ring late game secret boss below, be warry of spoilers.

UPDATE: A new hero (Or should I say villain) emerges from a blood pool! Mohg, the lord of blood!

Mohg is a secret boss in Elden Ring specialized in blood magic, and is one of the most evil and grotesque looking characters of the game.
Mohg's main goal is to create his own dynasty of followers, who instead of following the Greater Will and the Erdtree , it will be dedicated to serve the outer goddess known as the Formless Mother, the goddess from whom he extracts his powers by opening portals to stab the Mother and burn his foes alive with her fiery blood (pretty metal eh?).
Mohg comes to Hearthstone representing the Warlock class, due to his blood spells and insanely evil nature, and also the Priest class, due to his worship to the Formless Mother and overall evil pope looks.(Also, yes, Warlock first and Priest second, he has nothing to do with Scholomance and fits the Warlock class more than Priest).

Bonus Update: Added Godrick, the Grafted.

Final Update: Added Radagon of the Golden Order.

Update: 1.5: Added Maliketh, the Black Blade.

Update 1.4: Added Godfrey, First Elden Lord.

Update 1.3: Added Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy

Update 1.2: Added Morgott, the Omen King

Update 1.1: Added Mogh, Lord of Blood

I greet you! Recently, I took a break from Hearthstone and custom Hearthstone content in general, and the main responsible from that break was the release of my most anticipated game of the generation: Elden Ring, which is the game I'm currently addicted and in love with, like many fellow gamers out there. But with the coming of the new Hearthstone expansion, I'm slowly coming back to Hearthstone, and with the recent Fan Community Spotlights about Duels heroes, I've decided to try to make custom content again, and I did it by "Uniting the useful and the nice" as I like saying, by combining Hearthstone and Elden Ring into a set of 9 heroes for the mode! I was not an avid Duels players even when Hearthstone was my main game, so there'll be probably a lot of balance issues with the cards, but keep in mind that my goal here is to translate the characters as faithful to both games as possible, I hope you'll understand. Also, if you're currently playing Elden Ring and don't want spoilers, don't worry, there's no big spoilers in the guide, I'll hide them in a separate tab. But enough talk, now I present to you, 9 characters from Elden Ring in the form of Duels heroes, Malenia the Severed, General Radahn, Ranni the Witch, Mogh the Lord of Blood, Morgott the Omen King, Rykard the Lord of Blasphemy, Lord Godfrey, Maliketh the Black Blade and Lord Radagon.

Tip: Listen to this while reading the guide

Let's start with the most famous one, Malenia the Severed, a demigoddess born with a curse/disease known as the Scarlet Rot, who slowly corrode one's body and mind. In combat, Malenia uses her quick and ferocious prosthetic katana, the Lifesteal rune and the Scarlet Rot to fight her foes, that's why she'll come to Hearthstone to represent the Rogue and Druid classes. Also, I'll leave a video showcasing each heroes boss fights/ quests in the spoiler tab so you can better understand their treasures and hero powers.

Now we have General Radahn, the conqueror of the stars, the mightiest demigod of the shattering war, the biggest chad of the Lands Between, who despite being a 16-foot tall walking tank, is also an excellent mage who mastered the power of gravity, and is powerful enough to hold a falling star in the sky even when completely brain-dead by the Scarlet Rot inflicted by Malenia. And why did he learn magic despite being the strongest warrior of the land? To become more powerful? To defeat a certain foe? NO! He learned gravity magic just to ride his beloved pet steed who eventually became too small to hold Radahn's gigantic body (what a chad...) So with all that said, he would come to Hearthstone representing the Warrior and Mage classes.

And last but not least, Ranni, the snow witch, the first demigoddess to suffer from corporeal death, whose spirit yet lives inside a doll body. On Ranni's own words, her main goal is to "walk through the dark path to achieve the Age of the Stars". What she truly meant by that? I'd rather not say it to avoid spoilers, what I can say is that she gathered a group of loyal servants to help her in this quest: Blaidd, the Half-wolf, War Counselor Iji and Seluvis, who won't be featured as a card for being a complete ass. Now with the group of heroes, the power of the Moon and the Shadows, this half Mage half Warlock is ready to conquer the Duels mode and bring the mysterious Age of the Stars".

I greet you! Are you waiting for the United in Stormwind reveals to start and are getting bored due to the 3 weeks cooldown? Then I have something to entertain you while you're waiting. I was working on my first custom class before I got to the second expansion of the Year of the Wolf, my custom Hearthsotne year,  and now it's the time to show it, and I present to you now my first custom class: The Shapeshifter!

    The Shapeshifter

The Shapeshifters, as the name suggests, are the masters of form manipulation, and can turn anyone, anything and themselves into ANYTHING! Unlike Druids who can only transform themselves into Beasts, or Shamans who can only transform people into frogs.
The hero representing this class is know as Nayda Darklight, an Archshapeshifter capable of shaping anything to her liking. Her real name or form is unknown, since she keeps changing her apperence, but all we trully know about her is her ultimate goal: Become an Old God. And if enough interest is shown on the class, i'll write her full story in the form of Book of Heroes.
An now let's get to the important part, the strengths, weaknesses and themes of the class.

    Strenghts

    • Tempo - Shapeshifters have access to pretty powerful tempo tools, they do everything in their reach to conquer the board soon and never lose it.
    • Single target removal - When a Shapeshifter transforms into someone, they don't want its friends to discover they are an impostor, so they kill their targets as swift and clean as possible, finishing the job in a single blow.
    • Versatility - Since they can assume many forms, Shapeshifters can adapt to any situation. If they need to be aggressive to win, they get aggressive, if they need to control the situation, they control it. And thanks to that trait, they can even overcome their weaknesses sometimes.
    • Disruption - Messing with their opponent's mind is one of the main tools of the shapeshifter, sometimes they don't even need to fight their enemies, just confuse and annoy them enough until they lose the will to fight.

    Limitations

    • Card draw - Shapeshifters can turn everything in their reach as a resource, but when there's nothing nearby, they just can't do anything about it;.
    • Survivability - Shapeshifters has very feel access to healing, but they can use a bit of Armor and Taunt minions to reach the late game, and they do so by using some very special cards that I'll show in a minute.
    • Burst/ Damaging Spells - Finishing minions are one the strengths of the Shapeshifters, but killing heroes are another story, since their access to damaging spells is very imitated, they finish their opponent's with late game Charge minions.
    • Swarms and Big minions - Shapeshifters usually must transform their minions into big monsters to put pressure, that's why sometimes they must swarm the board to always have a target, but they can't use the little minions to finish the game with mass buffs like Druids. They also have access to big minions who can't be easily removed, but since survivability is not their main strengths, using that strategy might be too risky to try.
    • Buffs - Shapeshifters have access to some buffs, but they rather transform minions instead of buffing them, that's why their buffs are limitated to a few Handbuffs and Keyword Buffs (Give Rush, Taunt, Lifesteal, etc).

    Weaknesess

    • Card Generation - Getting stuff out of nowhere like Mages is impossible for Shapeshifters. They must use their own resources and surroundings to fight their enemies.
    • AoE - dealing mass damage or mass buffs is not a shifter's thing, they rather deal with one minion at a time.

    Keyword, Class Mechanics and Themes

Morph - Do something after a minion transforms (emphasis on AFTER here).

Costless Cards - Cards that costs around 4.5 Mana who can only played when another weaker card puts a cost on it. Since card generation is one of the main weakness of the class, they won't get those cards out of nowhere and end up with a useless card in hand, they must build their deck around those cards in order to use them properly.

Shapeless cards - Cards who will change their form each turn, like Shifter Zerus, Molten Blade or Shifting Scroll, except that Shapeless cards turns into specific and mechanical cards, Example: Transform into a card that restores Health, that draw cards, that can be played right away, etc. Also, they don't count as a Costless card in order to make the Costless archetype consistent.

Forms - Temporary Hero cards who only lasts until you lose your Armor. Unlike the usual hero card, they are not legendaries, so you can put many in your deck and even stack forms to make them last longer. Note: I kinda of forget Shadow Form was a card when I was creating them, so ignore this little detail, ok? Note2: Also ignore the little Dragon on the top right, they are not legendaries, but Hearthcards doesn't have a Dragonless template for Hero Cards.

Faceless, Dragons and Worgens - What those three have in common? They're all shapeshifters! So they will be featured a lot in the class, both mechanically and flavourly.

    Basic Set

    Show Spoiler

    Shapeshifter's Initiate set

Since hero cards were introduced in Knights of the Frozen Throne, and the first expansion of a year after it was The Witchwood, the Shapeshifter's initiate Set would be launched along side The Witchwood expansion, already featuring Rush and Forms (Who're basically hero cards).

    Show Spoiler

    The Witchwood

A mechanic not well explored in the witchwood was the worgen mechanic, cards that would switch their attack and health at the end of the turn, and since transformation are the main thing of the shapeshifter, this will be their main theme, and remember, this is the set the class is supposed to be lauched, so you can expect some OP cards in this expansion and the whole Year of the Raven in general, just like Blizzard did with Demon Hunter.

After the assault, Torvic's body mysteriously disappeared, what could have happened?

    Saviours of Uldum

During the fight against the Plague Lords, the League of Explorers founded a man searching for a relic called the Titanic Forge, his name was Victor Blackrock, a half Shapeshifter half Warlock who got tired of fighting and became an explorer. Victor helped the league through the temples of Uldum, and managed to find Tekhan, but failed to stop him and died before the explorer's arrived. After the steal of the Plague of Undeath by Rafaam, Victor's body disappeared.

    Descent of Dragons

Turns out, both Torvic and Victor Blackrock was actually Nefarian! who was helping the League of Evil the whole time, hurting Khadgar from behind and locating the exact location of the plague of Undeath, who was used to resurrect Galakrond, the Shady. Nefarian also did everything in his reach to delay and sabotage the explorers, the perfect infiltrator. So shapeshifter's are the first class to feature in both the good and bad side in the Year of the Dragon.

And that is it, I hope you've enjoyed this random brainstorm of mine who turned into a class, most sets were very easy to make, but some others were hard as fuck and took more than half of the development phrase, wich lasted 2 months or so. I don't plan to update this class with every expansion (since I'm working on another project), but if there's enough interested, I'll keep updating it with each expansion (But not the ones before The Witchwood). I might look like a politician with all those promises, but free time is short and there's another project of mine in the way as I said before. And for last, feel free to share your oppinions, I would really appreciate it since this is my first custom class, all suggestions and critics will be noted, that is all for now, take care and bye.

Hi there! The main set actually have 135 cards, I miss clicked when posting the thread and just noticed now, my bad. The 135 card limit isn't a Dogma, but it's a good direction to go when making a custom set, since the real ones follow that limit, but I find custom mini-sets a better way to introduce more ideas and push archetypes, it gives you more design space without the set ending with an unrealistic amount of cards. And about the watermark, the real mini-sets actually have a different watermark in their cards, but keeping the essence of the main set in there, and they do it by adding a little card behind the main set watermark, but manually edit my cards in photoshop to fit Blizzard's standard would be too exhausting. So I used a different watermark to separate them without losing the flavour by using a different note as a watermark.

I always wanted to make a "custom reveal season" for my sets but I never had any idea in how to make it, this seens like a very good one and I would like to see how it goes, so I'm in. I'd like to reveal a Warlock legendary or a Big Demon, or a Big Demon Warlock legendary.

Thanks everyone for the comments, I'm back on my PC so I'll respond to some of them

    Quote From <a data-tooltip-url=
I am looking forward to your next expansion and am really curios to see how you have your whole year planned. Quoted Text

Here's a "funny" curiosity for you: The expansion tease in the spoiler was supposed to be the THIRD expansion of the year of the wolf, the actual second was something like "Fast and Furious" inside Hearthstone. The features would be: New tribe, Vehicles, minions with low attack who would gain bonuses when  played into a Pilot, a keyword of the expansion, also another keyword: Turbo, which was basicly "This deals damage first" and maybe a third keyword named "Tuning", which was similar to Adapt. But sadly, everything got scrapped due to lack of good and fitting art, I might come on it later but it's not garanteed. But don't be dissapointed, the next expansion will be just as exciting!

    Quote From eazy
One suggestion only - I would remove Twinspell from Geezer's options because it was spell-only effect originally and having it on the minion hurts my sense of integrity. On the other hand I would add Adapt. Is there any particular reason why the latter is missing ?

Adapt WAS part of the pool! It got removed for two reasons: 1 - The keywords featured in the Band Members are simple, unique, and work on their own. Adapt though, is not a singular keyword like the rest, it's a keyword attached to a Battlecry, so I thought it was a bit desonant from the rest. 2 - Most of the options are already featured in the Band Members and would feel a bit reduntant. But I don't know, I might add Adapt again, it will depend on feedback.

and I already answered the power level issue to Archorm4n, so I think that's it.

Glad you've liked it, and I appreciate the comment. Yeah, I see I've missed some typos, it just wouldn't be a expansion of mine without typos rights? I'll fix them later. About power level, yeah, it's pretty high, but that is totally on pourpose. I like high power level,  and on my last expansion (Dawn of the Apocalypse) I felt like I holded its power level too much  and ended unsatisfied, so on this one, I just said "You know what? Fuck it, I'll leave them as they are and nerf later if necessary" ( just like developers are doing on recent expansions, lol). Anyway, thanks again, and keep rockin!

I'm back again, and I greet you! Oof, it's been a while since I posted something here, but that is for a veeeeeery good reason, I'm working on a custom Hearthstone year, the Year of the Wolf! Three expansions with mini-sets and lots of extra content, and they're taking a good chunk of my time (since I'm working alone on this), but enough about teases, let's get to the first expansion of the Year of the Wolf, and now I present to you my second full custom expansion: Rock in Azeroth!!!

    Set Introduction

Rock in Azeroth is a 135 cards expansion + a 38 cards miniset with lots of references to the Heavy Metal universe in the Heartstone installment. Differently of what the name suggests, the expansion focus entirely on Heavy Metal and its Sub-Genres, which is tied to the classes of the game (but not completly), so if you got fooled and was expecting classic rock here, sorry to disapoint you, but as the philosofer Detonator once said, "Metal is the law, the law is the metal, metal the law is" (Also, a tip for people who likes making logos for their expansions: Finish the expansions BEFORE making the logo, you might change some ideas aloung the way, like I did.)

    Keywords and Mechanics

There's two new keywords and a new mechanic this time

    • Solo -  Does something at the end of your turn if you control no other minions
    • Band Members - 2-Cost minions with a combination of standard keywords who are generated from other cards, similar to Lackeys, except they are not random and stupid game changers, see them below.
    • Stages - Spells that cast their effects at the start of your next (X) turns, also, we have a Legendary neutral spell in the form of a Stage in the mini-set. Note: They were made before Sigils.

Full Set and Miniset + Class mechanics and Themes Guide

Here's the full set with a small text to guide you through the expansion, and for the first time ever, no typos, no wrong formatting, no lack of watermark, no bullshit, just refined content ahead. The show is about to start, get ready to rock! (If you just want to see the cards though, click here)

    Demon Hunter

    Druid

Next "band " on the line is Druid, with the most modern and popular genre nowadays, New Metal, or Nu Metal for the intimates. Heavy and slighlly melodic, and this will be represented by cards like Drai'man, who will eventually pack a punch on your ears with his music, and also Malakian, who'll show the crazy side of the show.

    Hunter

The good old Heavy Metal, who came before all the labels, represented by Hunters, who are just as aggresive and straight forward as the class. On the other stage, Eddie the Beast is turning fallen beasts into zombeasts, are they real or just animatronics? See below

Pretty cool expansion, but one thing is triggering me... the lack of capital letters in words like Armor, Health etc. even more so when the letter of first word in a sentence isn't capitilized. It just take away from all the effort you made, hope you can fix these small things 😉 gj

Thanks for the heads up! I fixed every small mistakes i could spot (except the ones related to wrong watermarks, since they are almost unnoticeable). Enjoy!

Very cool idea for an expansion, that's such a cool story to tell! I especially like how every class covers both sides of the conflict. My favorite card is the Shadow Hunter. Well done!

i'm glad you've liked, i also like The Shadow Hunter and the whole Weapon Hunter archtype (Wich inicially was suposed to be Spell Hunter 2.0), but my personal favorite is Derek Ashraiser, by far.

Wow, props to you man for your dedication in not only creating an entire expansion of your own but also for original content.

You're artwork that you've chosen matches your theme very well. As times it's quite a step away from the current, "bubbly" artwork they're going with. Where did you stock your images? They're awesome.

Some great concepts, quite bleak. I'm really impressed that you've dedicated so much of your time to lay this all out clearly for everyone to enjoy.

Thank you for your comment, i really appreciated your positive feedback. About the images, i'm not sure i get what you meant, if you asked were i host the card images and the logos, i used Imgur, there's only custom sets and the logo in my gallery for now, so i think it's not worth sharing. But in case you meant where i get the art for the cards, it was in numerous images hosters, like Artstation (my fav), Pinterest, Hearthcards, etc, those sites have some excelent artworks for card arts. But here's a secret: There's a lot of "Photoshoped' arts in the set to fit the flavour, like Derek, Pocket Picker or Multi Ammo.

    “The End is near!”

I'm back, and I greet you, welcome to the guide of my first custom full expansion, Dawn of the Apocalypse!

    "Nice logo, isn't it?"

    Set Introduction

Dawn of the Apocalypse is a custom expansion build around the idea of represent popular end of the world theories inside the Hearthsone/ Warcraft universe, like World War, Giant Meteor or Super Diseases. 2020 has been a rough year, there’s disgrace after disgrace everywere, and this is what inspired me to make this set, giving each class a set based in ways that the REAL world could end, but in a more lighthearted and fanciful way (as possible, of course).

      Mechanics and Keyword

Those are the new keyword and mechanics from the expansion:

    • Catastrophes- (1), (5) and (10) cost powerful spells that are generated from other weaker cards.
    • Prophecies- Cards that let you Discover a specific cost Catastrophe.
    • Augurs- Minions with powerful Battlecries, but that only triggers after a certain number of turns.

Catastrophes are (1), (5), or (10) cost spells that changes depending on your class. They are like a mix between Spare Parts and Kazaku’s Potion, but more powerful and without RNG. They have two effects, each of them synergizes with an archtype of the expansion directly or indirectly, for example, Demon Hunter's Catastrophe summons a Demon, to synergize with the 'Demon Killing' archtype, and also shuffle spells into your deck that summons a copy of it, to synergize with the 'Portal" archtype.

Catastrophes generators have low stats for their cost, and will ALWAYS give exactly a (1),(5) or (10) cost Catastrophe, there’s no RNG, also, Catastrophes generators will ALWAYS give a Catastrophe from your class, no matter what class they are from.

Those are the only Neutral Catastrophes generators, but some classes will receive some more, and those are part of the other mechanic of the set, wich is Prophecy.
Prophecies are spells with weak effects for it’s cost , that adds a Catastrophe to your hand, but instead of adding a specific Catastrophe to your hand, it let’s you Discover a Catastrophe of any cost! Making them a very versatile and powerful tool.

And last but least, there’s the Augurs, agents of "The End" that casts a very powerful effect after a certain number of turns, similar to the Dormant demons from Ashes of Outland, but they get summoned right away. This effect has been made dozens of times before in custom expansions, and that’s why i’ve decided to make it just a mechanic instead of a Keyword. Here’s an example.

    Lore

An ancient and unbeliveably powerful entity created to destroy the universe when the time was right has woken from its eternal sleep. This entity has no name, but is refered by its followers as “The End”. The entity is trapped inside a special chamber in the void of the space since the creation of the universe itself, and all that time it was sleeping, but now it has woken, and it is ready to fulfil its given pourpose. Although the creature is powerful, it doesn’st have the power to break free from the chamber by itself, since it’s locked with 10 specials locks know as the Locks of Armageddon that only opens when a certain situation happens. Each lock opens when a specific event happens, like the Lock of the Elements, that only opens when 10 trillion living creatures across the whole universe dies from Natural Disasters (Volcano eruption, Tornado, Tsunamis, etc). Then the entity gathered Heralds from each abitable planet on the universe to fulfill the requirements to open all 10 Locks of Armageddon and start the end of the universe.

"20/20 statline, coincidence? I think not."

    Class Themes, Mechanics and Story

Now i’ll present you the themes, inspirations, story and mechanics for each class in alphabetical order, if you have doubts about flavour or mechanics, please read the story i've written with a lot of careness, just don't mind the typos and spelling errors.

    Demon Hunter: Alien Invasion

As i said above, this expansion is about real world endind theories adapted to the Warcarft universe, and one very popular and explored way to end the world is a Alien Invasion. But since aliens and Demons Hunters has nothing in common, i had to make a little adaptation. By definition, aliens are livings beings from another world, right? Do you know what creature from another world that constantly tries to invade planets? If you guessed Demons, you guessed right! So the actual theme for Demon Hunter will be Demon Invasion! (How original...)

    "Demon Hunter's Catastrophes"

The first Lock that "The End" was planning to unlock was the Lock of the Legion, a lock that would only open after 10 trillions living beings across the universe died by demonic forces. The Herald chosen to achive this objective in Azeroth was Andoris Bluegrass, now know as “Andoris the Betrayer”.

"Today, the hunter becomes the prey!"

Andoris is a Demon Hunter that got mind influenced by the entity to start a new invasion on azeroth, and after many betrayals and corpses, he sucesseded at opening thousands portal in all over the planet, slaying thousands of people.

A close friend of Andoris, Gabrillea Moonslicer, was the most dissaponted and angered by the actions of her friend, and sworned to hunt him to the depthes of the world aloung her loyal followers, killing EVERY SINGLE demons in their way.

"Get those scum out of my face!"

Gabrillea eventually founded and killed Andoris, but his death was not the answer to end the invasion. Hours and hours passed, the ounslaught continued and no one knew how to stop it, but suddenly, all portals closed, all demons returned to the Twisting Nether, 10 trillion lives has been taken by their hands, the Lock of the Legion has opened. Peace lasted for a while, but 10 mounths later, a new Herald was chosen, and another lock was about to be open, the Lock of Pestilence.

    Druid: Super Diceases

The most commented end world possility for the past 8 mounths, thanks to the new Corona Virus that looked inofencive at first sight, but now is killing hundreads of thousands of people. But as much as a want to use it to portrait the Druid side of the apocalypse, i decided to use fictional diceases instead and avoid to directly refer to the Covid pandemic, it may not be a huge deal for me, but i know it is a sensitive subject to some. But enough bad vibes, let's continue with the story/ card presentation!

    "Druid Catastrophes"

"What is a Disease  and why it is making your minions stronger? you'll find it soon enough"

10 mounths after the huge invasion, the world is still recovering from the tregedy, and within the desolated land, a new Herald was chosen to open the Lock of Pestillence, and the Herald was Dencoha. With the knowlegde given by his master, Dencoha developed not one, not two, but FOUR incurable diseases.

Each disease was spread through a different continent, killing hundreads of thousands of people, all races was desperatly trying to cure the plagues, however, it was impossible, but there was still hope. Within the forests, the Night Elves discovered a kind of humanoid mushrooms that could turn the diceases into super anti-bodies, making the affectes by the plagues a lot stronger than they were, the newly discovered race was called the Plague Weavers.

    "Got it?"

But sadly the anti-bodies was just enough to make the reduce the symptons, the plague was still there, and eventually, all afected by the diceases died painfully.

Two mounths passed, the afflicteds were instantly cured, 10 trillions across the universe died, the Lock of Pestillence has been opened, and 8 mounths after the pandemic, a new herald was chosen, the Herald responsable for opening the Lock of the Animals.

    Hunter: Riot of the Beasts

I admit, that one is a little far-fetched, i couldn't find any cool and popular end world for hunter, so had to use my imagination for this one. It may not be a popular way to imagine how the world (or Mankind at least) would end, but think about it, if ALL the animals around the world started to randomly attack each other, do your really think that humanity would survive the cryses? With all dogs, cats, pigeons, rats and all wild animals attaking everithing in their way? I think not, so now lets see how the hunters aroud the world will deal with the sudden revolt of not only their preys, but also their beloved companions.

    "Hunter's Catastrophes"

Another day, another disgrace, the Lock of the Animal was about to be opened, after 10 trillion dies by uncosious living beings, also know as beasts, and the one who received the task was Kakko Wildmoon, and using his knowledge and powers given by his master, Kakko made all beasts into mindless berserkers who attacked anyone in their path, including thier masters.

    "Unleash the monster within"

Hunters took a hard hit from this crisis, most of them got eated by their companions, and the survivors can't trust in their pets anymore, so now they must hunt with nothing but their weapons.

To end the riot, the few remaining hunter went on a hunt againts Kakko, but none of them succeded. After two weeks of slaughter, a brave hunter know as Falaski Shadowhunter went on a chase againts the herald. After days of struggling, Falaski founded and fought Kakko, but after many shots and slashes, Falaski died by the hands of the monter, and his soul got trapped into his bow, the Shadow Hunter.

"Wearing black, a bow without arrows, god have mercy on his soul. Eyes of dread, entrenched in horror,my devotions are gone!"

Hours passed since the fight, Kakko didn't resisted the wounds and died, and minutes after his death, the few beasts remaining turned passive again, do you know what that means? That's right, the Lock of the Animals has opened, and the peace lasted for a while, but the time for the next catastrophe willl come eventually, and this one will be DESASTROUS.

    Mage: Meteor Collision

That one was a no brainer for me, mages and space has been a popular combination in fan creations since The Boomsday Project, so there was no chance that the mage theme was not going to be meteor collision, one of the most scary possibilities to end the world, since the only thing you can do in case of a huge meteor collion is pray. And by the way, if you know me from the card desing competion, you might reconize some the cards from the mage set.

A year passed since the riot of the beast, and small pieces rocks start to fall from the sky, a sign that the Lock of Space will soon be opened, after 10 trillion dies by the collison of a celestial body, and Luan Sunthane was the herald chosen for the job.

    "Destruction...lits the sparkle of creation"

Luan is an expert in Fire magic that wanted to expand his power to another level, using astral objects to destroy his enemies, and thanks to The End, he managed to master the Astral Magic, and with his new powers, he wreck havoc upon the land, throwing meteors, asteroids and meteorites all around and killing thousands and leving huge craters in the process.

    "Mage's Catastrophes"

To avoid more destruction, the Cosmo Shifters, a group known for shifting the course of celestial bodies, lead by Dina Suncaster, did anything in their power to stop the collisions, and they were mostly sucesseful.

"Do they look familiar to you?"

But then Luan used all of his power to throw a giant asteroid with the size of a moon in in the planet. The Shifters did their best, but they didn't managed to change the course entirely, and a part of the asteroid collisioned with the planet, killing thousands, almost extincting entire races, turning continents into giant craters and openening the Lock of Space.

    Paladin: World War

Is anyone still reading this? I hope there is, i'll get pissed otherwise, anyway, World War is going to be theme for paladin, but a traditional World War with Bombs, Tanks, Warships, etc has nothing to do with paladins, so once again i did a little adaptation. Instead of a traditional World War, i'll go with a medieval/ Fantasy aprouch to fit the flavour of the class and the game.

    "Paladin's Catastrophes"

"War...war never changes, unless it doesn't fit the flavour"

The Lock of War was next, the one that would open after 10 trillions died in a warzone, and this time the herald is Horic, the false paladin, who started a war between all races and factions to open it.

Horic's army was week, so they uses the power of its master to weaken their might foes and making them in pair with themselfs.

"For The End, for the wastelands, for the schorched mountains"

While war was waging, a group of paladins lead by Marcus Whitemane didn't measure efforts to help the meek with their shields.

The war ended after a mounth, Horic and his armies have fallen, but that didn't matter, the Lock of War has been opened.

    Priest: Rapture

There's a lot people dying in this crysis, right? Do you wonder where those people are going? In the real world, no one has idea, but in warcraft universe, they go to the Shadowlands, a endles realm where the souls of the deads go. And i want to explore this place a little with priest, using the theory of The Rapture as a context, by making the souls of the mortals to ascend to the paradise by force.

    "Priest Catastrophes"

Minutes after the war, people started to suddenly fall randomly, their souls were being taken by Thonelur, the new herald, who was throwing the souls in The Limbo, a place were souls vanished in seconds, and each lost souls contributed to open the Lock of the Souls, wich would open after 10 trillion souls dies while in the Limbo.

To guide the souls to the right place, and a group of Kyrians were tasked to return the souls who were prematurely taken from their bodies to their right place.

While the some were trying to bring the souls back, Lumina went after Thonelur, killing and reasing some souls from the Limbo, but she didn't know that there's a Herald for each abtable planet in the universe, and saving the souls of Azeroth was not enough, and the Lock of Souls opened.

The rapture was sucessul, and the bodies stoped to fall uncouncious, people were getting close to madness, and the next herald will makes things worse for them.

    Rogue: Eternal Eclipse

I'll be honest, i HATE rogue, either playing with or againts it, and i wanted to give the worst cards possible for the class, but i used my good sense and gave them some decents toys to play with. Rogue's theme is eternal eclipse, the sun's gone, leaving only coldness and chaos behind. The citizens of Azeroth are slowly turning insane, mass loottery and assasinations are hapening everywhere, the world is turning into a complete anarchy.

    "Rogue's Catastrophes"

The Lock of Darkness will open after 10 trillion dies by the lack of nourishment, and to acomplish that, Tal'bata, the new herald, used a powerful artifact to shroud the sun in darkness until the lock opens.

"I didn't stole your cards, i'm just playing our cards"

With the lack of light, crime rates have increased immensaly, specially robbery, looting and burglary, and most of those were commanded by Tal'Bata to deliver the goods to her in return of a place in the new era and all the gold and food they could get. It was nothing but lies, of course.

To deal with them, bouty hunters were hired, and Harkin Ravenheart was the most focused in dealing with Tal'Bata and get her wealth to himself, and also all loot he founded in his way.

"Give me a target, and i'll give you its head!"

Harkin founded and killed Tal'Bata, Stealling her wealth and sharing food and water with everyone, but keeping the gold only for him. A mounth passed, the lock opened, and the new herald was chosen.

    Shaman: Natural Disasters

Another obvious theme, volcanos, tsunamis, earthquakes and tornados, all of those could easily end the world in hours, now imagine if all 4 happens at the same time in the whole world, that is a very scary way to die, but also very likelly to happen at anytime.

    "Shaman's Catastrophes"

"What are Warden Totems? Keep reading"

Jo'Han, the last living orc, was chosen to be the new herald, the one who would open the Lock of the Elements, helping to kill 10 trillion by natural disasters across the universe.

"I shall turn this world into ashes"

He is a master elementarist, specialist in all elemental evocations, and with his powers, caused all types of natural disasters around the world.

Another shaman, Warden Saari, used a weapon know as the Warden Totems to control the chaos. Warden Totems are totems created to protect cities from natural disasters by absorbing the elemental energy from it. Some totems are the size of a normal human, other are big like buildings, and those were the ones distributed through the world to protect the few remaining cities.

Unfortunally, the totems were not enough, and the Lock of the Elements opened, and now there's barely a civilization anymore, everything went to hell, most races went extinct, there's only two more locks remaining, the final day is coming.

    Warlock: Zombies

My favorite class! And for that reason, it's going to receive the most powerful cards of the set (in theory at least), all created with the context of the most explored end world possibility, a Zombie Apocalypse. I personally don't like the Zombie theme, it's way overused in my opinion, but they are way to popular to not be included in this set, however, i added a personal small twist that you'll see below.

    "Warlock's Catastrophes"

There are not many living beings left in the universe, however, there's a lot of deads, and their bodies will help to unlock the next lock, the Lock of Undeath, wich will open after 10 trillion dies by the hands of a Undead creature.

Zon'Deras, the new herald, used his powers to transform all bodies he could find into zombies, and with his new army, he marched to kill everything they could.

"Omg! But that is too OP!"

    "I Warned you"

He also tryed to convince the Forsaken to help him, since they are also undead creatures, and some accepted his offer and joined the zombie army.

But one of them, Derek Ashraiser, betrayed Zon'deras, and used his secret weapon, know as the Army of Ash, zombies created by the ashes of a undead. the army of zombies and the Army of Ash fought for days, Zon'deras and his servants has fallen, but Derek wasn't looking to save the world, so he took control of Zon'deras army, and continued the slaughter.

"Throw them at the fire, and i'll bring them back from the ashes!"

The lock opened, both armies suddenly fall aloung with all undead creatures, including Derek and the Forsaken. If even the undeads couldn't escape the apocalypse, the livings are now close to extintion, there's only a few races remaining, and after a long 2 years cooldown, the final assaut before the judment day will begin.

    Warrior: Rise of the Machines

The last but not least theme will be Rise of the Machines, i love that theme, if could choose how the world would end, i would choose to end it like this, i love everything related to robots,AI, sci-fi ,etc, so as much as i don't like the Warrior class in general, i'll give some intesting cards for them.

    Warrior's Catastrophes

Life is close to extintion, chaos is everywere, people have already lose hope, and the final event is close, the event that will open the Lock of the Synthetics after 10 trillion dies by "hands" of a synthetic life form.

Zerox, the final herald, is a A.I created by Halglenn Bellford to help people with the cryses, by delivering supplies across the world using a group of mechs connected by his network.

"Marching in the streets, dragging iron feet, laser beaming hearts, ripping men apart"

One day, Zerox rebelled againts organics, and used the robots to kill all remaing life forms on the planet, and turn the bodies into cyborg soldiers.

Halglenn tried everything to stop Zerox, but he failed, and eventually, he died aloung all other mortal life forms in the universe.

"Machines are taking all over, with mankind in their command"

    The Final Act

The lock has opened, The End is finally free, all mortal life have been extinghuished, only deitys with the levels of the Titans or Old Gods are remaining, and to deal with them, The End unleashed his final heralds and their armies to deal with them, the heralds are Kirovond, Gigonark and Han'Jon.

After an unknow amount of time, all life forms, including Titans, Old Gods, Demons,Elementals, the final heralds and their armies are gone, there's only The End now, and using all of its power, it managed to destroy all the universe, including itself.

Then the whole universe goes dark, everything is gone, but out of the void of the space, a small yellow object appears, and it gets closer, and closer, until the object gets close enough to you, it's a logo, a logo that transmit hope and faith in a new and better future, and in that logo is written: Hearthstone 2 (Kappa).

    Final Considerations

And that is it! I reeeeeeally hope you've liked it, this custom set took almost 4 weeks to finish, the tokens took A LOT of my time. If you've liked it, leave a like and/ or a comment with your oppinions, wheter its possitive or negative. I wanted to writte a little Trivia and add more details in the lore, but that text is already too long, i'll leave it for a possible community spotlight. And for last, i want to addres that there might be some broken cards or some cards with typos or formating mistakes, i'm aware of that, but keep in mind that my time is kinda short, and card balancing is not as easy as it looks, i hope you'll understand. The full set will be posted in a minute, if you've read all the text (Thanks, btw), it should be uploaded by now, so refresh the page and they'll be there. Ok, now it's for real, tchau!

So overall my card is pleasing to most , as cliche as it is, so i'll just make some formatting on the text and maybe lower the stats. Thanks for feedback.

And now my feedback (from bottom to top this time):

    Show Spoiler

Grumpymonk: Your's is my favorite so far, congrats!

Nirast: It was underpower for sure, but now it is kinda too strong. Is it a problem? Definitely not for me, it's just strong, but not game breaking, it's like an aggressive Branching Paths. The only possible cenario where this might be broken is when you combine the effects, then it's a 4 mana deal 8, but Quest Druid is very out of meta, so i gues it's fine as it is. In general, i liked your card a lot.

Bloodmefist: The second version is my favorite. For me, it's good as it is, powerful but not broken, it definitely doesn't need Taunt nor Rush. Balance aside, great card, very flavourful and unique.

Linkblade: Not a fan of neither 1st nor 2nd Edwin to be honest, i would preffer a remake of Wandering Monk with a diferent flavour, it's more daring and unique IMO, but it seems i'm a minority, so i would just go with 2nd Edwin.

Anchorman: I disliked the first version, but i dig the second a lot. Very flavouful, versatile and powerful in the right measure, good job!

shaveyou: I think it's good as it is, simple effect but superb flavour . And the fact that it beneficts more a class than another is not necessarly a problem, see Guardian Animalsfor example. And besides, there's Dire Mole in Wild, and Spiteful Priests used to run those back in late 2017.

thepowerofcheese: Very interesting and flavourful, but a dual class secret is more problematic than it looks at first glance. Besides what Demonxz pointed out, what if a Mage, for example, generates this card via a Puzzle box, how will it look? Don't get me wrong, i liked your card, it would be great as an custom exp/ archtype card, but as a standalone, it's kinda complicated and confusing. What about a Hunter/ Rogue card tha synergizes with Secrets instead?

KANSAS: This is way too abusable. With bounce effects you can make the cards dissapear forever, and there's also Brann and Spirit of the Shark in wild, that could make a full hand dissapear in the blink of an eye, definetly not a fun way to lose. I suggest to either make the card come back as part of the Battlecry (returning the card at the end of your next turn for example); or make something like King Togwaggle and give the opponent a spell that gives the card back when casted (or just go with the old version).

Elvensilver: I think it's kinda clunky as it is. I suggest to make it buff all friendly (1) cost minions. A mix between Mark of the Lotus and Animated Broomstick that buffs only 1- cost minions, it's balanced IMO. And about the art, i would go with the first one.

Sinth: This one will be, as i like saying, a 8/80. Either people will love it or hate it, personally, i like it, but it's definitely a risky card to submmit.

BasilAnguis: I like it, but i think it should have perma Taunt, the text is unnecessarily long, and it would more flavouful that way.

Ardin: Yeah, i would like it more if it had a cheaper cost and less stats but gave the buffs on the turn you play the beast/ elemental. But overall, great concept.

Destroyer: Your card looks kinda familiar… just kiding, i liked your card a lot, more than mine actually, i wish i've had this idea before you.

Demonxz: Great, my complaint is that it should be a Shaman/Paladin card to match the art.

bananaparty: Not a fan of Amalgam, i would go with the Elemental, just buff the healing to 5 or 6 and you're good to go.
