Would be cool if we could have a swag rocket avatar pin as well 😁
Is it just me or did derpcorn get bit of a makeover in the banner? Last I remember, it did not wear sunglasses and there was no rocket?
Good to know, earlier my Fear Of Missing Out syndrome kicked in again apparently 😅
How do we unlock/complete "A Wonderful Mythgardian Winter Wonderland" achievement? I cannot find the Mythgard word search?
I'm pretty sure this has been asked before, but I cannot find the solution: "How do we equip the festive pins to our avatar?"
EDIT: Never mind, somehow I do see the avatar pin now.
EDIT2: And now the avatar pin has gone missing (left to its quantum state) again, lol.
Yes, getting Nature Studies is the nuts now, but imagine living in a world where we could play discounted 1-mana Fungal Fortunes. There would be ANARCHY everywhere! 😱
I've been climbing the lower legend ranks with the exact same Spell Druid list since yesterday and it's really a blast. Simultaneously progressing through the new XP quest about summoning 120 Darkmoon Treants. Win-win situation! 👍🏻😄
Imagine this deck with pre-nerfed Fungal Fortunes, that would have been CRAZY !!
Ah, completely glossed over that comment, thanks. Hmm, that means I will save some snowflakes for next winter's event then.
Probably meant for the Chinese Lunar New Year which will be on February 12, 2021.
According to the Event Calendar FAQ:
"We'll have an additional advent calendar available for the entire month of January featuring more themed rewards. Stay tuned!"
Just curious, will more cool cosmetics still be added during this snowpocalypse event? If not, then I know how many snowflakes in total I need to convert into cosmetics and the remainder I can spend on (throwing) snowballs 😋 assuming that the next snowpocalypse event uses a different kind of patent-pending snowflakes.
Nah, yours is the ORIGINAL Goblin Snowman. They are both equal in their own rights and should be respected the same😉
Then I simply misunderstood your first comment: "Just don't assume everyone else in the world shares your opinions." thinking you chose a particular side. My apologies for that.
To summarize, you don't care about XP. I do care and that's the end of our discussion.
I'm familiar with those patch notes where Blizzard pretty much also assumes why players reroll quests.
Sure, they have all the statistics, but I can't help but think since they are ultimately a profit-making company that this was primarily or secondarily (to give them a slight benefit of my doubt) introduced to make it harder to reroll into higher XP (previously gold) daily quests.
It's simple, making it harder to reroll into more XP/gold rewarding quests means players having less XP/gold to spend on buying free packs.
If they also implemented the vice versa; rerolling less XP/gold quests always into more XP/gold quests, I wouldn't be suspicious about this.
Btw, we don't have to agree on this and that was also never my intention. We are just sharing our opinions on this cool forum/fansite 😉
I do not play Legends of Runeterra, but... I see word search puzzle, so I complete word search puzzle!
Rewarded with 2½ snowballs, wondering who to throw them onto now 😋
The difference between the easier and slightly more difficult quests is minimal. They recently made quests easier overall, so why not go 1 step further and remove the lowest XP quests altogether which reduces the dillution of the XP quests pool giving us a better chance to reroll into the highest XP quests and get rid of the feels bad. Sounds like a win-win situation to me, even if I might or might not be part of the majority.
Btw, you're basically also assuming the contrary; that the majority of the players that do visit forums or fansites are trying to max out XP gains. I expect this would be more likely true for us, but no one else besides Blizzard knows which camp is bigger than the other. Why did you bring this up and add it into the discussion in the first place?
Personally, I think they want keep some sort of slot machine (gambling) feature inside this game by offering these 3 tiers of XP quests. What I hate is that a low XP quest can get rerolled into another low XP quest. They implemented the always get a lower XP quest from a higher XP quest behavior, but rerolling to get a same tier XP quest is the ultimate feel bad regarding quests. Especially, since you pointed out how very few low XP quests there are, this feels even worse.
I do not want to repeat my test situation here specifically, but by having rerolled with a handful of F2P accounts for the past 2 years up until yesterday; I have noticed that the highest tier XP quests are super-ultra-gold-foiled-premium-legendary rare to reroll into. It seems that their appearance are even lower now than they used to be before the reward track was introduced.
Btw, the fact that they still did not implement the always show the increase XP progress bar after each game played, seems to me that are unwilling/not-caring/incapable of adding proper quality of life changes to this game. Why do we still need to keep revisiting the journal to witness our XP progression within the same level? Just unbelievable!
EDIT: Forget to mention that I really enjoyed reading this well-written and informative 5-stars article, kudos! 👍
