In what universe is doubling the cost of Trogg from 1 -> 2 a "small mana nerf"...? The last cards that went from 1 to 2 (Renew, Gibberling) were **gutted** by that change!
I think they are realizing they simply never should have released Stealer. It has the sort of effect that is either way too strong or way too weak (because the setup is too expensive). It's already banned from one play mode, and is being nerfed _hard_ in Standard. Way to go, guys.
RE: Flesh giant. This should have been the change last patch, so whatever. Slightly slows it down, but it's still going to be a good card.
Hopefully these help.
For all you Wild players, though.... I'm pressing F hard to pay my respects.
Blizz likes to print cards that people like to play, regardless of power (see: Cthun the Shattered, which is terrible). I don't think they tried to make every questline meta-viable, but some of them -- like this one -- are bad _and_ lame.
it should prevent overwhelming board states on turns 1-2 (maybe 3) though, which was the point. Shouldnt matter as much once the druid has ramped, which was the point.
Insight helps draw the small pool of minions a priest will run, making Samuro in hand for an Apotheosis combo more consistent. A slight decrease in the attack buff to Apo helps tone down the one-sided board clear + lifesteal interaction with Samuro, but still preserves the "you left a big minion on board" punish.
It's likely that Blizz will make this change now so it doesn't constrain their design for the Priest class for the next few expansions (although knowing Blizz and Priests, they'll make several more terrible decisions for the class over that span, too).
Scorpid is a neutral... why would they mention "Priest generation" and not target a Priest card? The post seems to be hinting at Renew or Palm Reading.
Bloom is dual class, and they didn't mention Shaman. Dollars to doughnuts, its Gibberling (even though the Bloom + Gibberling interaction is the big bad here).
Raise Dead is dual class, and the post only mentioned Druid / Priest. For this same reason, I don't expect to see Lightning Bloom nerfed (even though it drives a lot of Gibberling nonsense) because that would also impact Shaman.
It's true, though, that it is hard to make Warlocks worse in standard right now, so maybe it is Raise Dead (it wont be).
Nerfing a neutral Discover minion to address Priest generation (when Priest has class-specific generation cards) is a huge misread... It's either Renew or Palm Reading, with my money on Palm Reading.
way too expensive to see play. cool design though
Imagine printing a Hero card so bad it needed two buffs

2 mana fireballs coming down on turn 7 (the turn after you completed the quest) are far less likely now since you're more squeezed for mana.
Don't sleep on 1 mana changes, they can be quite significant in impact (as others have done well to point out).
Broken Armor Warrior has a great ring to it, though

I'd take the Druid quest over this any day.
Wow, this is so bad.
The bleeds are shuffled into *your* deck.
I was joking. The point made was that it's pretty hard to play out that many 1-cost cards, so I thought of a silly (read: stupid) way to do that.
I doubt this Quest ends up being all that good.
You can also purposefully not discount your librams more than once, which gives you more 1-cost cards to play before you lose, lol.

If changing a common card (!!) had this much impact, maybe it was overtuned.
How dare you thoughtfully weigh the results of these changes?!?!!? I'd rather go into the comments and raaaaaaaage!

They also said they are nerfing "generation", so Palm Reading is an obvious option. I doubt Renew gets touched, but its possible.
