Mankrik is one of the most popular legendaries, with a really high win rate (so much that it was nerfed) and it's in a lot of decks from multiple classes. There is no way a card like Lady Prestor becomes meta or even good, outside some meme deck, there's no consistency to it. It's too random! At the same time you could get a Alextrasza at 3 mana, you could also get a 3 mana Nozdormu do nothing. And all of that is still dependent of you drawing and playing Lady Prestor at the earliest by turn 5 with coin. You still need a deck that can be competitive without that perfect scenario. What I'm saying is that they could've easily put a legendary that would actually be useful for f2p players like a Cornelius Roame or Varian.
Can't wait to pull that out of my first pack as one of my few legendaries... He and Serena Bloodfeather can hold hands while they gather dust on my collection.
No way they will make it as cheap as BGs! They probably hate themselves for not making that more monetized from the beginning. But with this new mode they clearly learned their lesson, you can tell just by reading their description, with "collecting" or mercenaries "dropping monthly". Although I'll be glad to be wrong.
I'm definitely expecting Blizz to monetize this to hell and back. Mercenaries, treasures, expanding your village, etc. I bet all of those will have micro transactions galore.
They gave me the 2 legendary/20 packs for both Barrens and YotP, each for 39 reais. I'm tempted to get the former, but here in Brazil that is not exactly a small amount. I wish we could at least choose the Legendaries, I don't want to spend all that money to get f..ing Kargal Battlescar and some other random Legendary for a class I don't even play.
I never spend money on HS, but this looked like a good deal... Only to get Akama, an Ashes legendary from Rogue, a class I don't play and have no legendaries or support to play anything viable. While the five packs had only commons and rares. So... I learned my lesson.
I would love that, not only it sounds fun, but it would give me a chance to finally leave Gold. T.T

Lady Prestor as the free legendary sure is a far cry from Mankrik. I guess they don't want to give a good legendary for us plebs anymore.
