I was binging Odin decks up to gold, but the trouble I’ve ran into is your plays are super telegraphed (from row stacking iron heart, wolfsbane, white tiger) from turns 4-6. Sometimes that means you can snap on turn 6 without an Odin, and cause your opponent to retreat in fear, but other times it means the opponent knows exactly how many points you’re about to deliver.
Absolutely thrilled to hear we’ll be able to put our excess coins to use on our non-maxed mercs! I was worried after the only talk before was buffs for the maxed mercs. Curious how it’ll work for mercs people don’t want to max out, like Cookie.
Also, they really dialed things up to 11 with that Diamond Yogg portrait. Awesome job art department!
Thanks for all your work on these guides. These events are the most enjoyable part of the game mode! Very rewarding to work towards a guaranteed legendary then a diamond portrait.
I climbed from Gold to Legend with the fastest and highest winrate pace I've ever done thanks to that token demon hunter deck. It just does great against all the mechs and pirates. Freeze shaman is instant loss but thankfully they're quite rare atm.
How is there no mention of Cram Session? Mage may not be top dog right now, but this card often feels like an unearned amount of card draw. It was absolutely soulcrushing to play against before the quest mage nerf. Mozaki would probably have felt far more balanced without it too.
Well all of these are quite game changing. I'm impressed! Was totally expecting the big reveal to be a new minion type but this adds much more flavor to all of the heroes, which helps battlegrounds standout even more against other auto chess games. Curious how armor of everyone is gonna get hit by these changes. I imagine the first couple weeks are gonna involve some broken combos people will bandwagon on hard until their nerfs.
Very eager to hear what the new PvE thing is. Right now, for a game mode that seems so heavily based around PvE, there isn’t anything worthwhile to do at endgame. It’s like you PvE just to PvP.
I’d really love to see a kinda’ randomized dungeon mode with better rewards since you can’t prepare as well for what you’ possibly face.
This and Yu-Gi-Oh's latest iteration of their online card game astound me how ugly they look compared to Runeterra or Gwent. For how much money they have, it continues to baffle me what they spend it on cuz Pokemon especially always looks basic AF.
100% with you on the Overwatch situation. Its lootboxes are still used as the flagship picture on articles today about lootboxes in general. Overwatch has the best practice of lootboxes, and I can't help but roll my eyes at anyone that thinks it's the problem.

She looks fun! Funny Viago is in the trailer cuz she has very similar vibes to him with her tentacle mechanic.
Will be interesting to see what champion and other package goes well with all this!

Hmmm... Control rogue? Could easily activate it and distinctly lacks board clears.
Unfortunately, control rogue has always struggled to be a thing. I imagine these naga need to be reactivated if they are bounced.
3 damage is too little too late for turn 7. If Tunnel Blaster wasn't even close to good enough I don't see this making the cut.
What if…we met the monk class on this voyage and a later expansion this year has us landing in Panderia?

Transposition will surely make some dirty mana cheating shenanigans. Will those decks be any good? We shall see. Thankful it's not dual-region.

Is this the first board that makes a visual impact on the playing field?

When we needed Living Dragonbreath most...
Let's hope they throw him into next year's core set.
Would love to buy these skins individually for gold.
This card looks like fun! Excited to play with it and see the laughs unfold.

The 3 or more mercenaries rule kinda sucks for those facing folks who just concede after getting walloped in the first turn.

As someone mentioned in another reply, I had a memory of your database including all the 22 leaked mercenaries but that must just be my mistake.
Appreciate you, thanks for all that you do.
Well, he did post them, but it seems he's since removed them. Blizzard probably requested he refrain from mentioning anything about it.
