    Sad and very true

Saviors of Uldum introduced the best suite of Legendaries we’ve had in a while. Unfortunately, that makes them required for a lot of decks right now.

I really hate that Control and especially Combo are more expensive, but Blizzard only releases expensive unique effects.

If you like OTK decks, then Malygos will be relevant until he is Hall of Famed. You’ll get all you dust back then if you want it if you do decide to craft it. The deck really requires all the other legendaries though, which is unfortunate, so if you are crafting it without those I wouldn’t recommend it for the current metagame

Not deck-breaking by any means. I would honestly just put in another anti-aggro card like MC Tech or some sort of removal

I've featured just about every Tier 1 and Tier 2 archetype in the current metagame, fortunately changes are on the way to mix up the metagame for October. You're not wrong that the decks featured have some issues with them, but a deck with even a slightly positive winrate is worth a shot in my opinion. I think J_Alexander found a way to hit top 100 legend with Thief Rogue, so there is some merit to it. The deck is an extreme challenge to play though and I am still working through how to build the list for ladder.

I like the visualization of the triangle quite a bit. That’s the goal of my article for sure is to demonstrate that they’re all on a spectrum across the different archetypes. I may have to steal that from ya.

I agree that it’s a tricky list to navigate. RNG can be navigated to potential outs, but sometimes you will just lose when it doesn’t line up.

I don’t have much insight into China’s metagame to know if this deck would be better there. I have heard it is very aggro heavy in general, making this deck better suited to a metagame like that.

Oh dude, I love this idea. Thanks for the share, I'm gonna try this for sure! I wonder if a Highlander version will work?

I think 0 mana cards have been the most troublesome cards in Hearthstone's history. My opinion is that the current version of Combo Priest would be brought to a quick halt if Circle of Healing had it's mana cost changed to something like 2. Northshire Cleric would be much more difficult to get tons of draw off. Without the crazy draw amount Divine Spirit + Inner Fire loses almost all of its consistency. Wild Pyromancer would be too expensive to create those draws. The injured duo can't be instantly buffed anymore. It's a simple fix but covers a variety of problems while only hitting one card. The deck still plays very similarly and is still powerful. But this way I'm not playing against a Priest with a board of 2 4/7s a 1/3 draw-machine, a full hand, and only 8 cards left in deck on turn 5.

Ya I've been noticing a heavy dust requirement trend. I believe SoU is the worst culprit right now, every Neutral legendary sees play, except for Colossus of the Moon. Add in Highlander cards or Quests and it makes almost every meta deck over 10,000 dust. I may try to feature some 5,000 dust range decks in the coming weeks to try and combat this. However, Combo and Control decks are historically expensive so that may be tricky.

    1. If you have a 1-drop already, they can be worth the keep depending on what you are facing. If you need to fight for board like against aggro, I'd keep magic carpet. If you need to snowball stats like against control, I'd keep the History Buff.

    2. Crystology is almost always worth the keep in my opinion. Zalae says so too in the video I sent.

    3. Hungry Crab is fine, I don't many murlocs at rank 1 so I haven't run it. The 1 drops don't matter a whole lot what they are, the mechs are essential though due to magnetize, the rest do very similar things.

Really I just look for a good curve hand. 1 into 2 into 3 with is fine, with magnetize cards it's fantastic. Also I love 1-drop + Beaming sidekick when I have the coin. If I don't have that, I try for the highlander cards. There are tons of 1-drops so unless it's specifically good in the matchup or for my hand I don't mind mulliganing them because you will likely find more for your first turn.

Put as big a board as you can each turn. Save resources to play  around board clears and save some cards to answer the other deck’s power turns. About 25-40% of your games you’ll curve out insanely well and pretty much win. The rest you need to maximize your chances at each stage of the game to win.

Send me a list or link it in a reply and I'm happy to take a look and try it out. I tried a Secret Highlander Paladin and it was pretty bad when compared to the version featured in the article. I'd love to see the winrate against Priest.

Wardruid Loti doesn't really have a good replacement to be honest, maybe the 3 mana 4/4 rush? Cenarius is also hard to replace due to how big of a board + buff to your board it provides, maybe try Tending Tauren. You can replace Bloodmage Thalnos with anything and the deck wouldn't suffer. The best thing is to try replacements and see if you have trouble playing them during the game. If you have trouble finding the right time to play it and it just sits in your hand, replace it.

Glad to hear that you had a lot of success with the deck! I may have to try a copy of [Hearthstone Card (Wrapped Golem) Not Found] if you liked it so much. I play mainly against Quest Shaman so Sea Giant can come out really early and instantly win the game. Zoo is a tough matchup just like Murloc Paladin, the Belligerent Gnome helps those matchups a lot actually. I appreciate the post thanking me for the deck, the skill ceiling of this deck is so high and I still make mistakes after 50ish games playing it. Good luck with your climb!

Halazzi, the Lynx is incredibly good for reload and helps you control the board due to all the rush minions. It along with Boommaster Flark essentially give you two more full board reloads. I've seen versions that run Eccentric Scribe with seems okay. I'd be curious to see if Wrapped Golem could work as well since it is so sticky, I like it better than the Eccentric Scribe to be honest.
