    I'm sorry you haven't enjoyed it. :-(

It's definitely an odd deck -- e.g. running Buried Sun Disc to thin your deck and enable Shaped Stone rather than focusing on flipping it. That said, I generally have high confidence in anything Tempo13x says is good. I've embedded his YouTube video in the deck guide in case that helps at all; I'm also on the lookout for some more conventional Sun Disc decks for future articles.

I think I remember an earlier roadmap saying that the lab would become PvP, so that’s probably what it is. Hopefully, they also update some of the champion selections and passives.

You're probably remembering this roadmap from January, where they wrote "Social Lab / Legends Lab" under April, May, and June. Our guess is that the slash is intended to designate two separate labs, the 1st involves cooperating with another player circa the 2vAI and 2v2 labs that we've had in recent weeks and the 2nd being a card/power/opponent changes to the existing Lab of Legends format, but you could be right in thinking that this instead means that the Lab of Legends format changes to incorporate another player.

Either way, it is worth noting that that road map only called out Legends Lab for February, April, May, & June while this new calendar has only 1 lab designation, the aforementioned "Upgrade!!!" which occurs March 31st -- practically the only month not listed in the original roadmap. To be determined if this means they've tweaked their plans or if they just consider the 31st to be effectively April.

If something wasn't listed here, it mostly means we just didn't notice anyone playing it yesterday. Specific to mono Demacia, though: it does seem like it won't be "top tier" the same way Azir, Kindred, and Lissandra are shaping up to be -- if that's important to you, you might want to hold off. There's also a very annoying bug with Cataclysm right now where it's sometimes possible to "cheat" out of blocking, which definitely isn't helping things.

We are planning on returning to the "X Decks for Champion Y" style articles after the meta stabilizes, so we should be writing up the best J4 decks we can find later this month.

    Good luck!

Yes sorry, I forgot to mention that I'm playing more often LoR since January so right now my experience with card games is Hearthstone where usually you pay for more deck related content instead cosmetics when a new expansion launches. I thought it was a mini event you paid for having more card archetypes and not too much oriented on cosmetics. Having at least one copy of each new champion, a "wildcard" for a deck on the store, more chests... Something like this.

After you've been playing for a while, you'll reach the end of the region rewards -- these basically give exactly what your talking about for free. :-P

I got 1 copy of Lissandra, Jarvan, and Kindred yesterday for 2000 XP/ea; working on LeBlanc right now. Also got 3x copies of Sun Disc for free. You can also choose to focus on a specific region to get more of the new non-champ cards from that region, but I've been jumping around because I want to try as much new stuff as I can.

no clue whatsoever finding this one :/

This clue is strictly based on the card's artwork. It's most obvious in the full artwork, but you might be able to figure it out from just the cropped portion that shows up on the card face.

    Good luck!

At least grouping all site wordsearchs in a same link for that purpose could be nice.

    Have you tried https://outof.cards/tag/word-search ?

    I don't play Runeterra

Well that's an easy fix! https://playruneterra.com/

In all seriousness: as Frosty says, the concept is for both events to run concurrently without either detracting from each other. We appreciate that not everyone plays every game (personally, I haven't played HS in months), but auto-including everyone in both still just felt like the best approach. If nothing else, you can still play the LoR Word Search and either buy some fun Runeterra-themed headers and forum titles or wait for it to be converted to gold.

Good luck in the FitB giveaway!

What can you even nerf on tf?

    That's the big question, right?

I'd probably try changing Pick A Card from Draw 3 Fleeting to Draw 2 Fleeting. I think Draw 8 -> TF L2 is generally a fair risk -> reward proposition, it's just that certain highly optimized decks have made it way to easy to "pop off" and flip TF too quickly. I don't really like the idea of directly nerfing TF, as that would probably kill using TF outside of those optimized decks.

Lucky Find is a spell that lets you choose from 3 different buffs via a 0-cost Focus spell. Here are all the buff options.

Ha! It's like they're all the Common-level champ items from the single player lab. I'm surprised they didn't give them names like Doran's Blade, Brutalizer, etc.

Overall the economical aspects of the development got stressed a lot. ...It kinda sounds like it and if that means that LoR is not profitable enough right now we have a concerning future for LoR to come...

Fair assessment of these comments, but in the boarder context would you say this is because LoR is being stingy with its development or just because RubinZoo is just being a lot more open & direct than other digital CCG developers?

It's not like HS or MtGA spend much effort reanimating year-old content or buffing old cards so they can compete with new ones.

It is a bit awkward, but I think logistically it all works out. Consider if you were playing Mistwraiths and had 4 mana, the attack token, and a hand with Wraithcaller and Risen Mists. You're either A.) casting Risen Mists at burst speed into an open attack, or B.) developing with Wraithcaller. There are almost no scenarios where you'd want to open attack but not summon that extra Mistwraith -- e.g., maybe if you were worried about keg + Withering Wail?

At 6 unit mana, J4 is a bit more of a commitment than Risen Mists, but he's also an even better payoff: you preoccupy the strongest blocker plus get 5 free damage on him plus getting 1/4 progression towards J4's level up. Sure there will be still be scenarios where you still don't want to summon him -- e.g., maybe you're worried about over-developing into Ruination? -- but I think they'll be few enough that it justifies the decision to leave it automatic rather than diverting development resources for giving players the option.

I can't find official confirmation, but my interpretation would be that kegs wouldn't proc for just normal usage (e.g., Warning Shot) but would if you are simultaneously killing them off (e.g., Jack the Winner's 0 mana spell).

Q: Hey dude, does Ephermal proc Slay? Say I play Nasus then Play Used Cask Salesman, at the end of the turn Casks will die and would that in turn help the slay level up requirement?

Ephemeral doesn't give credit. The flyout used to specify this, but we decided to focus it on things that count rather than the exceptions.

Edit: That person lost a job because she didn't sound serious enough. I am glad I didn't choose VA to be my career.

To be clear (because I misinterpreted the first time I read Riot's tweet too): the juvenile delivery in the LoR reveal is by the Pakistani-American VA, and that is currently expected to remain unchanged. The serious delivery in LoL is by the Caucasian VA; Riot still uses her (she just did LoR Zoe and will presumably do LoR Morgana in the future), but they decided it would be more appropriate to have Taliyah voiced by someone of Middle Eastern heritage.

It is unclear why they also changed the characterization so drastically when they changed VAs. Zehra Fazal is an accomplished VA more than capable of delivering a "serious" tone -- besides LoL Kayle, she's also voiced the Batman villain Talia al Ghul, the fighter pilot Nadia Rizavi from Voltron: Legendary Defender, and She Ra's predecessor Mara in She Ra: Princess of Power.

I think it won't work with The Rekindler as you obliterate an ally, not kill it. It would have to die later different way.

If you cast Ancient Hourglass on an allied The Rekindler, it will resurrect a 2nd champion when released from Stasis Statue. (You will need to have had a Champion die earlier of course, but that's generally not too difficult to arrange.)
