FYI every time you Invoke Galakrond, you summon 2 1/1 imps. So this card is basically Landscaping, but with the chance of buffing your ither minions as well.

So this is Astral Communion on a stick..

Not really, Astral Communion discards your whole hand... and doesn’t leave an 8/8 on the board

Warrior has great cards, but is undermined by its garbage hero power...

Play Reno with duplicates for more Mind Games and to make your opponent question your sanity

Just fucking rotate Mind Control Tech. Literally one of the most punishing cards ever printed. No one will ever miss that card. Fuck that.

So you can mindless flood the board, when you are ahead? Good idea...not.

Ah yes, I too enjoy getting punished for playing the game. How dare I play more than 3 minions, right

This just seems like a sub-optimal version of the pre-existing Shirvallah Paladin.

Good hero powers: Mage, Warlock and Rogue

Good cards, meh hero powers: Paladin, Warrior, Priest and Hunter

    Why: Druid and Shaman

I can atest that WL hero power is really powerful. There is very few card draw options and you easilly run out of steam. Being paired with likes of paladin or priest who also have some healing in their arsenal makes the downside of Life Tap not as big of a deal as when you are just a warlock.

Yep, that sums it up pretty well. Life Tap is debatably the strongest hero power in Arena because you never run out of steam. The downside is negligible most of the time as you can hit them harder than they can hit you. Just play accordingly to how the match is going, and see whether it is appropriate to continue tapping.

Mage is also very good because of its flexibility, it can go face, kill a minion or damage something. Very useful. Dagger is similar in strength, but you do not need to spend 2 mana the following turn in exchange for having to use your face to kill things.

The other hero powers are also situationally strong, with Warrior’s one easily being the worst

I would love to fight these Evolve Shamans and Secret Pallies over Quest Druid any day of the week. But sadly, they keep popping up in my queue for some reason. Unpopular opinion, but the deck is as degenerate as they come.

Infinite Quest Druid or Maly Quest Druid?

Kun the Forgotten King it's really unhealthy for the meta when you can copy it, infinitely...

But both of them suffer heavy early game disadvantage against aggro, but both of them can highroll lategame.

I've been playing Infinite just for the sake of fun, you either die really early or you just make your opponent concede.

I suppose it is nice to see it from the other side of the coin. Personally, I have had very bad experiences with Quest Druids.

When playing aggro decks, they always complete their quest by turn 5, then I proceed to get outvalued by Oasis Surgers and Starfall into Anubisath Defender. All my damage also gets healed by Hidden Oasis into a massive taunt, and unless I can get a Siamat with Windfury going, it is almost always a complete loss.

Same with control decks, the hordes of Oasis Surgers and things like Cenarius are just way too efficient at contesting the board for me to make any headway into their 30+ armour points. By the time I can get on board, I just get mowed down by Malygos or they fill the board with Kuns and gain 60+ armour in one turn.

It feels kind of like nothing I do against the deck works. Even when playing combo, they can get their combo out faster and safer than any other combo decks, then out-armour the combo decks. They just destroy Control decks with their massive value and potential infinite value/burst from hand. Aggro seems to be the only option here. I have not had much success as they can even clear me when I am high-rolling and somehow defeat a fully evolved board with an 8 drop thrown in through some weird combination of Surgers, Taunts and Starfall.

It was very demoralizing to play against Quest Druid most of the time, and I understand they may not be a problem in the meta at the moment, but it feels good to vent my frustrations against this particular deck.

Well boys, Flamewaker is breaking the game again. Whats new

Highlander Hunter can beat it pretty consistently, as can any deck doesn't lose to a single boarclear essentially. All Flamewaker can really do is  a one turn wipe + burst, and after that they need to RNG further pressure from Cyclone or lose

After trying the deck for myself, I realise how much i get highrolled by the deck. It is incredibly hard to actually get the combo pieces, and by the time they are there, you simply do not survive half the time. It is a very high-rolly deck and you lose most of the time. But when you win, my God do you just delete people

For Highlander Warrior specifically, I’d say Octosari, but for all around usefulness, pick Siamat.

Siamat can provide a much needed random clear to regain tempo and a 6/6 Windfury + Divine Shield is nothing to scoff at. He can be used as a control tool, aggro tool, basically any deck can run him (kind of like Zilliax)

However, Octosari provides a much-needed refill + a giant body. He would probably win more games in Highlander Warrior, but has niche use elsewhere

Did anyone notice Pooh bear at the bottom of the page?

Anyway, I feel Blizzard was justified in punishing him. He signed a contract, he knew what was up, and he did it anyway. His fault. Blizzard needs to send the message that they will not tolerate anyone misusing their platform  to spread their political ideals, and that is fine. Also, they do not want to piss off China, which is another very justifiable thing.

However, I disagree with the severity of the punishment. A one year ban just seems extreme, and all prize money being confiscated was just the cherry on top honestly. It sent a good message that Blizzard will not tolerate these clowns, but they went down too hard on him. What he said wasn’t particularly offensive anyway, it was just “down with the government” or something similar to that. And before anyone asks, the casters were in on it as well, thats why they got fired.

A strategy i heard was to use the Explorers in the order that they give you. Reno is just great in general, so using him to blow through the first phase is reccomended as after that point it is pretty much easy game

The only way you lose is if you don't draw Reno :)

I'd say go for it, that honestly sounds like a 12 win deck to me. Even if you lose, you can always just start another one and play that out while waiting for the event bcs FYI: 7+ wins will always give you back AT LEAST 150 gold!

Definitely a good deck, I have been playing it for a while now and the Control Warrior matchup is surprisingly not that oppressive. Siamat usually wins the games on his own, so thats a good card to have. Highlander Warrior is able to consistently build up tempo and clear threats, it mostly dominates the midgame and you will just steamroll your opponents if you can curve decently with Zephrys as a potentialfinisher.

For some changes, my list runs Akali, the Rhino in it and he has saved me multiple times by letting me copy buffed Rush minions. I cut War Axe, Sul’thraze and Raging Worgen because i felt they were just not good enough, replaced them with Grom, Bone Wraith(tentative) and Militia Commander.

Like others may have said, Octosari is carrying the deck on its back, I would not reccomend playing the deck without him!

I hadn't even considered Akali. Man, warrior has a lot of good cards, huh?

Do you usually play Zephrys on curve, unless you hit the late game, or do you hold him regardless to potentially burst down your opponent?

I would not usually play him on curve, he has much better application later on, i.e random loodlust lethal, clearing a huge taunt/board, or, my favourite, Windfury on Leeroy for 12/16 random burst.
