Your'e right, of course, I took the assumption presented in this article as truth, and that's probably wrong and remains to be seen how bad it will be to remain a casual player (it's not like I have a choice to be another kind).

So far, the fact you gain "last expansion" packs from playing ranked did a lot of good for my dust stockpile (its really easy to get to platinum in a few days, MMR or not) , not getting rarity duplicates also did a lot of good, I can only hope this will as well.

This is good news for new and F2P players with a lot of time on their hands. Bad news for me and any other F2P, more casual player.

I have never ever maxed out my games ina day, I don't even play 30 games a day, let alone with that much. averaging 10 minutes a game, that's 5 hours of play at the very minimum. I sure hopw the system changes somewhat to make it more possible to get to level 100 without investing so much time in it.

As I play now, I buy about 75 packs per expansion with gold. These new changes would mean a LOT less choice of what to do with my gold, and only very slight advantage in the overall gold value, which I will never get since I'll never get to level 100.

    TL;DR  - I hate this with a fiery passion.

IF you get her on turn 3 wit no other play (and no Lightning Bloom either) then, and only then, it's a slightly buffed Vulpera Scoundrel)

Any turn afterwards, or Lightning Bloom in hand,  and it's insane in an aggro deck as well. Shaman has plenty of damage spells that can go face or other ones an ultra aggressive deck could make use of if it had the room to run them (and others a 3rd copy in the deck if possible would be an auto-win)

Trueaim Crescent seems to only be here because it's a new card. Unless you get it with Ace Hunter Kreen it does the opposite of helping you with your game plan. Do you really want a Light's Justice that can kill your minions? I can think of several better cards to run.

Can't believe 3 Shaman decks actually passed on Instructor Fireheart, it's one of the most versatile, insane value cards you can play at any stage of the game and great huge results.

Definitely one of the cards I'm most satisfied with getting off the bat, and I can't imagine a Shaman deck that can't benefit from it.

They left for another project, still in Blizzard.

From the looks of this expansion, especially with Lightning Bloom and the Druid legendary that refreshes your mana crystals, it seems like combo decks are quite possibly not going to be fringe for the near future.

Great, now there's an additional reason not to watch Americas GM season and not just the fact it's broadcast in hours I can't afford to watch.

Never liked Gallon too much, but saying I don't like KAD is a true understatement.

Wow, it seems like I might play mage again this expansion, instead of again choosing not to craft 143266 Legendaries for a Highlander one.

There are already some hound-shaped demons that are marked "demons" so it checks out.

Guess the origin (demonic) is more prominent than the shape (beastly)

Combo for Mage seems problematic at best, unlike Rogue, that has plenty of early game, 0 mana spells and lackeys. Seems like running both this and wand thief in mage will often result in casting one for the other's combo.

Two more 1 mana cards that can easily be run to good effect in Rogue, though... I wonder in Edwyn will last until next year or wil they make an exception and HoF him next month.

Well, this + Totemic Carvings is a huge board control turn, but it comes super late and I'm not sure if it's even that big a payoff. Considering how early some 8/8 creatures come, waiting for turn 10 with a spell in hand just to be able to get rid of 2... Meh.

Also pretty useless against wide boards, though it could probably be played to good effect much sooner then.

Or, keep ramping to 7 and play Mountseller and five 0 cost spells.

If you've seen my comments about any druid card, you may have noticed a trend. They are pretty good and some are insane, but 30+ damage on turn 6 it a hard bar to pass, and it happens more often that seems plausible

The thing is, most minions you'd want to copy with it just trade with it, or, providing you play it from behind, just go to your face.

Also, Argent <insert noun here>... Really expected this to have divine shield (even if at 2 mana and even 3 it'd be OP)

Wow, a dual class card that actually fits both classes, and for completely different reasons, that's cool.

Rogue has bounce, mage has CC, and either of those can be played either on the 5 drop that you chose to die as soon as it takes damage or Jandice herself. There are also a few minions with taunt at 5 mana that would make killing the additional minion quite hard for anyone but mage. Even more than that, minions with deathrattles you would be ok with triggering...

I find it weird they chose to show the effect with two of the extreme low rolls you could get. If I were Blizzard, I'd show her summoning an Earth Elemental and a Waxadred or Convincing Infiltrator, but I guess we'll have to wait for the highlights for those.

    Tempo mage, I choose you!

Though quite frankly, I on't see any mage not running this (except maybe spell mage, but that was never a viable deck)

Pretty obvious spellburst enabler, druid already had one, but hunter didn't.

Would really like to see the cub token so we could have Bingo with it.

This is not the first dual-class card that is meant for only one of the classes it can be played in. If warlock-priest cards are meant for warlock and priest-paladin cards are meant for priest, why even have the dual class theme?
