Thanks for the giveaway, but it doesn't make sense to offer cosmetic rewards with same currency as the ticket. Now I feel like I have to reserve my currency for (the expensive) giveaway ticket, instead of getting the site cosmetics.
It would cost so much to Wizards to give the usual 3 boosters? Why only 1 this time? Maybe this would make me a bit more inclined to try a historic-only set....
Excellent article, I hope we can see some improvements after this... The UI Design is terrible, they can't keep the same opening screen when they keep piling new features and hide them under some encrypted icons in "Modes"...
Furthermore, Achievements are terribly implemented. They are spoiling some results, they should be popping-up at the end of the game or at the end of revealing your cards in booster opening, as well as HAVING THE DESCRIPTION, not just the title of the achievement that you have no idea why you earned it. At the moment, is random pop-ups that you have no idea why you earned them, and you have to remember to go to a special menu after game, with very bad and bugged UI, clicking random buttons with notifications to find out.... simply terrible.
Finally, the overall cost of getting all cards has increased a lot considering the mini expansion.. I believe the pity timer should decrease from 40.. is way too high.. especially if you are unlucky like me that gets to the maximum 40 before opening one!
They give us SO MANY card backs, but in the gameplay layout, they are barely seen... furthermore even though they spend effort to animate them, in-game they are usually static...
Underwhelming early on, let's see if a deck needs this for later in the game.

Could be interesting with some kind of "miracle" shenanigans that could lead to an OTK combo.
At the moment, not much handbuff exists, and based on history, it is rarely a winning strategy. Let's see if this changes in the future!

Card Back Design looks a bit boring to me, not so inspired, and not so Phoenix-y
How are snow-covered lands used in Draft? You have to specifically draft for them, or you just put at the end only snow-covered lands in the deck?
Maybe it would be a good idea to actually explain the combo, as it is not so obvious?
