Love a lot of the buffs you gave out. Especially a fan of Hir'eek, the Bat as he is one of my favorite cards. The cards you added are quite fun too. I love Meteor Shower and We Will Rock you! is the best named card ever! With the Archmage I love the idea of turning spellpower into something else (mana, armor, minions, draw or whatever). It's a cool untapped aspect that I have no doubt Blizzard will do and this is a great idea of how to do it.
Vexallus and Blood Crusader. Love Vexallus and Blood Crusader has a great pose standing over the zombie.
and if we include Path of Arthas: Lady Deathwhisper and Frostwyrm's Fury. Deathwhisper is just my favorite boss from Icecrown and Fury is just amazing art.
Yes. Sorry was typing on the phone before so I didn't fully write it out. While you can't target face with Silvermoon Arcanist, untargetable things like Unleash Fel and Fel Barrage can make quite a swing.
Love build around me cards so I crafted this. Since I have Jace but don't have Artificer Xy'mox, I had to find other things to put in. I choose the new +2 spell damage but can't go face card and which is fantastic with Unleash Fel. The second I choose was Azshara. Great for duplicating spells for Jace or pulling out a surprise colossal.
It's a fun puzzle and a unique take on a "no minions" deck.
Discard is back! Scourge Supplies is just so good. Usually I play standard for the first month a set comes out but this makes me want to dust of Lakkari Sacrifice.
The Big Undead and Deathrattle stuff looks like a lot of fun too. Warlock has always been my favorite class. Very exciting stuff.
While I see your point. I like them pushing multiple directions in a class. Better than pushing one archetype that falls short. I agree there is no real pay-off nor enough fire spells to make anything an actual "fire" warrior. Still pushing that line and making spell school matters cards for the warrior is important. Just look at this more of a small step. Most of the fire cards lean toward improving a already good deck in Enrage Warrior so they have a home. For a more dedicated "fire" spell deck we may have to wait a bit longer for the spell school to build up cards (and a better payoff).
Also I see Last Stand kind of like a Suffocating Shadows. It's something they'll push in the future (taunt warrior) and are just placing a basic spell here to free up a future card slot. The shadow spell kinda went with Darkvein but the discard aspect was off an expansion.

I kinda aggree that this steps on the legendaries toes a bit too much for the same set. Maybe Halduron could do ALL spells or do hand AND deck to feel more worthy of a legendary.
Overall I like this card though. Feels like it pays for itself easily with just 1 hit and anymore is icing on the cake.
While I worry hunter doesn't have enough Arcane to make these 2 cards worth much I appreciate spell school matters cards. Makes things much more interesting. Especially on a class that doesn't have a lot of spell schools to start with.
Amazing with just a little spell damage or the new Enchanter. This can kill a minion and draw at least 2 cards for 2, that is great. Sure it's turn 6 or later and 2 isn't always enough that late but even a deal 2 draw 2 will feel good I think.
I'm fairly certain Tiny Knight of Evil is in standard. Maybe that was griffin but I remember seeing him in the list when I was looking at imps (he counts).

With Dk's Freeze effects this might stand a chance. It may give you enough time to freeze and infect enemies to give you enough time to the get the deathrattles with some AOE or big taunt. Might be too slow still but I think it has a chance.
I understand that concern. Though I tend to favor packages that build a deck for you, at least in part. Good way to start a new Meta and easy jumping in point for new players.
Still I get having everything solved day 1 is also bad. Still I don't think they have deathknights 100% locked in. Sure certain rune builds will be strong and probably op knowing Blizzard. However the runes give them another number to adjust for nerfs and buffs. So even if things come out solved the current cadence of balance patches will keep things varied. They hit DH a few times when it came out so I am sure they are watching DKs closely. There are also so many cards for them I am curious how they end up split across runes.
Side note I want to be a rebel and make a no rune deck for no reason other than to see if it's possible now (no rune cards at all).
As for the path of arthas set...my wallet doesn't like it. I feel stuff like these should be part of core, or at least obtainable via packs/dust. Events post microsoft takeover is starting to stink, and I hope hearthstone doesn't get any more expensive as it is.
Signature cards though, are as cool as they are completely optional. That's fine for me. But I do pity those omega whales who now have to drop god knows how much more to get all 18 of those things every expansion.

For my 2cents here, I love everything about the Rune system. It's another deckbuilding puzzle to play with and also gives the devs another number to tweak in balance. Instead of raising the mana cost, they make that op card 2 frost runes instead of one, ect. We'll see how well it works in practice though because judging the system fully before that isn't thorough enough. However, if it does as well as it looks, I'd love to see it in other classes.
As for the Day one Mini-set, I'm actually for it because it focuses on the new class. I feel Demon Hunters lacked some tools early on. Not that Dh was weak but if there was an extra set for them back then, maybe their big demon cards would have had more of a foundation at launch.
Evoker is the new class for the Dragonflight expansion. I assume he is afraid of a tie in with the new WoW expansion. While I understand his fears it's too early for that I believe. HS would want to build on the nostalgia of WoW or twists on characters and locations. With it not being out yet I don't believe they would target such an unfamiliar place.
Though I am curious if they do go deathknight, how they will theme it going from a death based expansion already? Do we get a hoedown in Hearthglen?? Maybe a Wintersday in Ebon Hold? Just seems like a fun challenge to me. Can't wait to see what they do.
Such a fascinating game. The locations and card generation keep things interesting. The strategy is great too. Choices really matter and games can come down right to that last flip. Snapping too is awesome. I forgot to do it but beating an opponent when they do it feels great.
I swear I sat down to just see the tutorial and like 4 hours went by. Such a fun play pattern, satisfying leveling system, and great art.
Hearthstone will still be my main game I think, just love that world, but snap will definitely be played at least weekly for the new locations.
Also that Uther with a cheeseburger made me laugh. Not enough to buy it but can't wait to play against it. I don't usually buy skins though so no surprise. (Lu Bu was the exception).

Enjoying this card a lot in thief Rogue. Espeically with Knights in the Core set. Using Lilian Voss to reroll the spells is quite fun.

I actually love that they brought the mechanic back. Deathstalker Rexxar is the OG zombeast creator, I don't see this as diminishing him in any way.

Probably how this card will go without a taunt that cares about its stats upon being played. Even then handbuff will still be better.
