Commander is a format that works in Magic for 4 main reasons:
Multiplayer format
Color combinations and color identity
Instant speed spells
No creatures/mana cap
The main reason why EDH is so popular in the MTG community is because you can play with 4 (usually) people at once. This can create some intresting interaction with the players on the table. Say that one opponent is having an awesome start, the others can make a temporary alliance to contrast him and then procede with the game. Or maybe you can make a favor for someone by killing a thing that threatens him to then receive a favor. Right now HS is only a 1v1 format (or a 1v7 if you count Battlegrounds, but you cannot interact directly with one opponent) but things could change with the new game mode. At least I'm hoping so.
Magic like the most recent Runeterra is a card game that has multiple color identities and that can combine them to create new ones. Up until now HS has shown no sign of making a multiclass format. Yes sometimes the arena has an event when you can play that 2 class arena. But let's be honest, who plays arena in 2020?
The only way to interact with your opponent during his turn is by playing a secret. The huge downside is that you cannot chose when to activate them. Also the mana cap and minion cap are a huge downside for a game mode that by design wants to do crazy comboes.
Plus they would have to ban all the "no duplicates" cards from the game mode since they would be instant include.
That said, I would love the game mode since EDH is also my favorite mode in MTG
I solved it by uninstalling and reinstalling the game. But as @OldenGolden I also find the game laggy every first game of the day and some disconnections here and there. They must have a server problem
Am I the only one who has to watch the loading screen for an hour before it opens? The game seems to be stuck on "Checking for Updates" forever. Does anyone else have the same problem or is it just me?

So yeah, wasted many hours building decks around that silly card. There was a slightly viable priest variant back when Arms only cost 2 mana, but pushing it back to 3 pretty much killed it.
Big priest will always be my archenemy. Cheating big minions is frustrating, plus Archmage Vargoth is a card that shouldn't exist in Hs. He creates only problems.
You are playing a tier 3/4 deck against an high tier 2 one. It's normal to lose that matchup. Plus saying "Boring" at the end of the match would not make your opponent change deck or make you win the next time you encounter a secret mage
1) Of course people are playing with new champions on the first day of a new expansion.People wanna see the potential of those new cards and all the new synergies.
2) It's also a new experience for you. Since you never played against those decks you don't really know what to expect and how to play around it. Plus with a new expansion decks are gonna get more powerful since there will be more cards to play with.
So just keep on playing and if you see a cool champion combination you can choose to craft those and play with them.
I stopped playing Runeterra because games were kinda long and I did not enjoy them much. But I have to say that I really want to play with the new faction. Pirate warrior and rogue are my favorite deck in hs. Not becase I love aggro but because I love pirates. I'm really hoping to have fun with pirate in Runeterra as well.
OK so I finished the first wing of Frozen Throne and unlocked the Dead Knight. It's written on the card that I must be at bronze 10 to play it. So I guess the new way to get to wild is completing the rookie's ladder. TNX
Ok. Opening wild pack will not work because I have the ones that blizz gives you when you vote for your Champion and they say "Complete training mode".
I'll try to redeem Frozen Throne's adventure and see what happens.
So for the first time in 5 years I decided to switch to another server. But after completing the training mode and unlocking all the heroes (even demon hunter) I tried to make some wild cards but I could't craft any. The game didn't let me choose any wild set to craft cards from.
Do I have to reach level 20 with all classes? Or worse, do I havo to complete the rookie's ladder?
What about Brawl? I'm sick of having to wait 6 days to play those 5 matches. From what I've seen in the different forums it's by far the most enjoyable mode in mtga. I also don't feel like spending 10k gold for a "new" commander and unlimited games. Those game should already be free. For the people who cannot spend much time getting that amount of gold each time, it feel frustating having to wait a week to play a nice game mode of mtg. I personally think that this move could bring more daily audience and make it for a much better overall experience
Bruh, I was the only one that got screwed this time. 45 packs and only 1 legendary, the mage's prime one, that I got on the 10th pack. I'm going to get the double pity timer :(

True even 10 would be a small nerf
