Meh, I think Cursed Disciple was better. Traded better due to higher attack and lower mana cost. The Stealth doesn't really do too much here. AoE will still kill it.
I think they're being careful with those. Given the handbuff/copy mechanics we've seen so far, adding Mechs can be tricky due to Magnetic and the Dr. Boom Hero. With the Taunt buffs already displayed so far, stuff like Zilliax and Bronze Gatekeeper could get out of hand fast. And honestly, the last thing I want to see is Omega Devastator's cousin making an entrance.
There's definitely some potential with this. Even just some basic 2 mana or 3 mana Taunts can quickly become scary. Magnetic effects can take full advantage of this. Don't count this out just yet.
Man, the average power of the cards so far is pretty high. Even the neutral 2 drop is solid. Decks and meta are going to be all over the place. Which is fine. :P Also keep in mind that Vivid Nightmare (and Redemption) have decent synergy with Neferset Ritualist. (and Reborn mechanics)
With Jepetto Joybuzz (and maybe a Baleful Banker in case you draw Glinda first) you should be able to pull this off in one turn. 1 mana for the 1/1 Glinda. 6 mana for the six Mogu's. 1 mana for Grim Rally. 1 mana for the last Mogu.
You even have 1 mana left for a 1 mana 1/1 Faceless Manipulator to get two Ra's for 40 damage.
A 2 mana 3/2 that can deal 2 damage to all enemy minions by playing a Secret on the next turn? Kirin Tor Mage on 3 into a Secret into clearing your opponent's board?
Flak me, that's good.
It's also a solid AoE on Turn 5 by just playing both the 3/2 and a Secret.
There is some combo potential with Togwaggle's Scheme I think. Play out to lategame and choose a Deathrattle minion to scheme and end up filling your hand with it.
Then play this and change your entire hand to many 1 mana 1/1's with a powerful Deathrattle. You could even put in an Abomination (which will also go to 1 mana 1/1) to trigger them by using Backstab on it.
People are going to have to focus the Lackey on Turn 2 like *crazy* or face a huge threat on Turn 3. And then there's the Coin... This is basically a 3/3 Devilsaur Egg with a one-time triggerable Deathrattle. Damn.
First off, as mentioned by many, this should be a Priest Quest. Making copies (of Deathrattle minions) is Priest territory. Second, this is literally a better version of Shadowy Figure.
Don't get me wrong, I like the Hero Power itself and I'll have blast with it on Mechano-Egg and stuff but it really should be a Priest Quest.
I can see some funky combos with Faceless Manipulator after playing this and then killing it yourself somehow to fill your hand with some specific card.
A legitmate use for Nat Pagle? Huh. Guess I might have to dust him off (pun intended). Millhouse Manastorm and Lorewalker Cho are going to be jealous about that though. And yes I got all three of them from packs early on. I think it's Blizzard's way of trolling us.
Well...RIP to all Buff / Deathrattle decks, which I love to play. This is as painful and powerful as Devolve. It literally does not matter what your board is, this will ruin it. For 3 mana. Without triggering anything. And Shaman has plenty of Murloc interactions to work with their own board afterwards. Do not want.
That's not the interaction I've seen. I've seen Mass Hysteria used with a lot of 1/1's on the board and a Linecracker and every time a 1/1 traded into it, Linecracker got bigger, not just when it attacked itself.
Will this cause Shudderwock to play both Battlecries from earlier minions? Say you play a [Hearthstone Card (Twilight) Not Found] Drake with 7 cards in your hand. It goes off twice so it gains +14 health.
If you played Shudderwock normally next turn, would it replay both of the drake's Battlecries or just the one?
