I understand how the card rotation and various versions work. But when I made the deck I made the deck in the client AFTER rotation, and then copied the code to this site. So the version it would have linked from the start was the Legacy version after it rotated out of Core. if there is a problem, it's not on my end. Talk to the guys who manage the site.
But I really want the Demonic Illidan skin, and still need 270 DH wins. There's no way I can play that many games before the 16th! I have a job and a family!
But seriously, the deck is nuts! The low number of demons for Window Shopper to discover makes it way to consistent. Could have it set the discovered demon to the same stats and reduce cost of it rather than setting to the same cost as the Shopper. Or maybe just discover a demon, reduce the cost by (x). That way you aren't getting things like (3) 6/5 or (1) 1/1 Mags, but could also avoid getting useless things like (1) 1/1 Mythical Terror or Illidari Inquisitor.
Would that be too harsh though? Maybe. Grasp could either go up in mana or only reduce cost by 1. Maybe just lose the cost reduction period! We shall see.
Curious to see if any other cards get hit, like Ball Hog.
That all depends on your rank I'm sure. Probably not facing much if any of the bots I was seeing if you are sitting in Legend. I never really push for anything more than Diamond ranks because I want to play more than what the meta says I can.
I kept seeing people on other forums complain about the massive amounts of Mech Rogue bots and hadn't seen any myself. Then I suddenly I had multiple days of nothing but Mech Rogues or decks from random classes running nothing but basic cards from starter decks. The starter decks roped every. Single. Turn...
For the most part EZ wins, but annoying and boring. I guess they had won enough games against each other to climb into upper Plat, lower Diamond MMR matches where the fun loving off-meta players like me tend to live!
From my 11 golden packs I had 2 golden legendaries abd two signature legendaries, including Sonya Waterdancer in sig!
With the preorder, freebies, and gold I had 150 normal Whizbang packs. My avg packs/legendary through the first 132 was about 11 packs/leg. Got another from about 15 Standard packs. Also had insane luck on Epic drop rares too.
I swear I think the game thought I was a streamer! My pack luck was insane this time around. Now if I could just win some games... Trying out as much new stuff as I can right now since I got so much new stuff, so fun over winrate I guess! With the reduced amount of acheuvements I'm already at 25%
As a Wild player I was dreading the day that some big Core exclusives went away. Unless I'm missing something, I believe the full list of rotating Core exclusives that might would need to be opened or crafted for Wild is:
Only a few legendaries in the list I feel are must haves, and the lower rarity items can be obtained by opening a handful of Wild packs. And I believe I should maintain a Marrowgar copy since I got the signature version from the paid Tavern Pass. If that disappears after I technically bought it, I'm going to be upset.
UPDATE: The signature Marrowgar did in fact convert to a collectable Legacy card, still uncraftable though.
I was looking over the Core set rotation last night, and with this being the first big shake up for Death Knight in their Core set, there are some classic cards of theirs that will be disappearing for all players soon. For players who only venture into Standard, this is likely no big deal. But for a Wild player such as myself, their abscence could have an impact. Cards like Patchwerk and Lord Marrowgar, Obliterate, and many others. Outside of DK, the most noteable loss might be Alexstrasza the Life-Binder, and potentially Selective Breeder.
The good news is that all of these cards should be added to the Legacy set, and are obtainable via Wild packs or crafting. In total there appears to be 6 Legendary cards, 2 Epics, 8 Rares, and 5 Commons rotating out that players may find they are missing. While several will be no big deal, some of those mentioned above and maybe a few others might be worth opening a handful of Wild packs to grab those Rares and Commons, maybe get lucky to snag a legendary or two.
I am uncertain about what will happen to Marrowgar in my collection though. I have the Signature version of him, which was obtained via the paid tavern pass during March of the Lich King. So in my opinion that card should stay in my collection and just convert to be a Legacy card. If that isn't what happens in 45 minutes, I'm going to be writing a strongly worded email to Blizzard about some things.
Full list of cards that you may need to craft if you want them after rotation:
Interesting fact: These are Core cards, but also craftable in Legacy. Maybe even obtainable via Wild packs.
Why is this interesting? Mostly because it means they are available in Twist too! But only if you craft them. Which may not be worth the investment.
That said, I did it! And Night Elf Huntress cleared some taunts and sent three face to give me lethal just moments ago! And as we all know, one instance of being good means it’s OP and needs a nerf!
Trial by Fire exists. Probably a good example of how this new card will work without calling out Deathrattle specifically. And other cards in the past have assigned minions a deathrattle. Seems a good bet this new spell also gives the target a deathrattle.
I’m sure this wording was just shorter and easier to comprehend than trying to specifically call out the deathrattle the minion gets. Especially since the exact DR is going to be different depending on what you discover.
The Galactic Projection Orb forbidden secret technique: use only the slowest-animating spells, especially spells that cast other spells, like Rune and Puzzle Box (it's spells all the way down!). Wait until the very end of your turn to cast the Orb. By the time it's all done animating, your opponent's turn has expired and it's your turn again.
I thought they fixed it so your opponent’s turn timer doesn’t start until animations are over? I swear they did after DisguisedToast featured an exploit that used up the opponent’s turn with old Nozdormu on board. And especially with Shudderwock, they had to make sure a player didn’t lose their turn to animations
For Wild, I imagine using some of these cards in a deck similar to Dane's recent Nazmani Thief Priest deck. Instead of the Thief cards, slot in new Raza, Papercraft Angel, Embrace the Shadows, some cheap healing spells that you can aim at the opponent's face. When you get to pop off you end up doing a crazy amount of damage in a turn if you have a decent set up and the APM to pull it off.
Theoretically you could do something similar to the old Raza combo but sooner with good plays, good draw, and good hits on the discounts.
Bye!

There is only one version to link, and it is the version I have in the list.
Depending on how long they want to tease the mini set it might be about right for a reveal after the Brawl.
Wait, only one DH nerf? Seems like not enough
I was coming here to make a comment about a solution to bots, but I got beat to the punch. LOL
Mustache can be done with Chemical Spill and Gromm. I used the list from this video to do it.

OMG SUCH CRAZY CHANGES ON THIS APRIL 1ST!!! ... wait...

Immediately after today's update I saw my first real opponent in Wild in about 3 days.

Sorry, Gnomelia, S.A.F.E. Pilot
I built a nearly identical list yesterday and I must say, all but one game I drew one of the two minions right before playing Switcheroo.
