Am I the only one who's irritated by the widespread use of double quotation marks ("Hero Power") instead of single ones ('Hero Power')? Even some of the veterans do this. Are there old cards where doubles were used so it's okay to do so?
(Also: as far as I know, if your card ends with the quote of your new Hero Power, the period should be inside the quotation marks.)
Demon, that's usually your kind of business. Can you confirm or correct this?
I mean, since Metamorph is the newest card with the mechanic, it makes sense to follow that wording. For the same reason it is now perfectly reasonable to write "Draw a spell" instead of including "From your deck" despite more cards including that part than not. The games language evolves over time, and it's therefore logical to use the most recent wording.
Nice comp topic! Got 2 cards that probably need some word fixin'
My Mage card, Kirin Tor Arcanist. Is this clear enough when I say this is like just a Hero Power that you can use once and then it swaps back to your normal hero power?
Then my Warlock card, Imp Summoner. I'm sure this is cool and simple enough :3
Nerd.
I prefer the Arcanist. I believe Imp Summoner would have a wording akin to "Your Hero Power is" considering it's a tempoary deal.
Tbh, i've never understood the idea of a "cap" to add to the tournament prize winnings.
If i remember correctly, Dota 2 has a system, where a percentage from each purchase within a set time goes towards their large tournaments, which has traditionally resulted in enormous prize pools.
I had a recent talk with another user called AcidNoBravery, that some of you might know as NoBravery from HearthPwn. A thing we ended up talking about is the concept of "non-routine cards." Here, we're talking about the cards of a quality that we can't simply replicate every single time, but those are the few that stands out from the others.
Non-routine cards will be different from each person, and they've also changed in quality for myself. What i used to be really fond of having created in the past, is not always something that you're proud of having created 2 years down the line.
Nevertheless, here is an album of the cards that came to mind immediatly that i've made. There is likely more cards that i would consider to be non-routine, but these are the cards that came to mind immediatly when we dicussed the topic.
Allright it has been long since i last posted here.
Cemetary Hotel was a submission for a competition on Reddit, focused on making Warcraft zones "touristable." Our promt was Duskwood, and generally speaking, Duskwood isn't a particulary nice place.
Single card Discover effects have traditionally been a fan favorite of the community, as there is so much room to do something "unusual" with the card that is generated, or the method in which it is generated. With Cemetary Hotel, you get to "Discover" more or less anything on the board, granted you're able to kill it off this turn.
The casters should honestly have been fired. They asked Blitzchung to say "Liberate Hong Kong. Revolution of out times." They went against their contract.
I fully agree that BlitzChungs punishment were too harsh tho.
There was actually not anything that was done initiatially, until the Chinese viewers demanded for them to be punished.
The dusting system have generally been underwhelming, imo, especially regarding rares and commons, which also happens to be the cards you get in practically any pack. I think it would go a long way just to have the 1/4th value set for those rarities aswell.
So 10 dust per common and 25 per rare.
Saviors of Uldum has been one of the best designed expansions ever, in my humble opinion, and it seems like they're getting better with their general designs.
I feel there are too many Demons overall. I agree with the idea of having a "good" side aside. Especially when it's an invasion. There have to be something that fights against the invasion.
Mogu Cultist is absolutely one of the best things ever. Given how hard the condition is to trigger, and that it isn't an instakill reward, it is rather unlikely that the card will ever see serious competitive play. But it's gonna be the best thing ever to create meme decks, or special Tavern brawl decks with this card.

Yep Mutanus. Winner of Season 6 back on hp
Isn't that just Mutanus without the restriction?
Ah yes, i shall return from indefinite hibernation.
I ask of you whether what this card does is clear.
Go ham
Next up:
Year of RAFAAAAAAAAM!!!

For god knows what reason, it only shows cards that started in the opponent's deck. This almost makes it a 1/3 chance of a card.

I think the difference is based on whether it's a spell or a unit.

Hey, this looks pretty good with and .

This is definetly going to see play. Drygulch Jailor saw play from time to time, and this is litterally a jacked up version of it.
