making a character follow a certain grim path and then come with an explanation for it out of the blue, that shows it in a completely different light, sounds kinda cheezy.
I'm sure this time they're gonna replace the neutral ones as well, including the legendaries. The new legendaries will be High Inquisitor Whitemane (one of the infamous leaders of the Scarlet Crusade, a true zealot) and Brightwing (a cheerful faerie dragon), at least that's what I've heard.
"They would love to do at least one Heist hero as a playable character."
I would love to see Tekahn as a playable hero. After all, out of all the Heist heroes, he's the only character that exists in the Warcraft lore. And I'd love to see King Phaoris in HS one day as well. More Tol'vir plz!
I'm almost an F2P player and I've been playing since closed beta. Only bought 7 TGT packs in 2015, the last 3 wings of One Night in Karazhan, as well as Medivh and Magni alternate heroes. That's it. Opened 11 golden legendaries in total (main acc: 8, smurf acc: 3) since beta.
Chronological order: 1. The Beast (disenchanted after a few games and crafted Malygos during open beta) 2. Wilfred Fizzlebang (disenchanted right away) 3. Confessor Paletress (still got it) 4. King Mukla (disenchanted right away; for Mal'Ganis during TGT era) 5. Bloodreaver Gul'dan (still got it) 6. King Togwaggle (got this one in the opening day, disenchanted right away; weeks later I pulled a normal one) 7. Azalina Soulthief (still got it) 8. Illidan Stormrage (disenchanted right away; this was my first legendary after completing all the classic legendaries)
Definitely Undead! Also Aberration (faceless ones, old gods, tentacles, oozes etc) and maybe Plant (razorpetals, ancients, treants, bog creatures etc)
Undead should have been implemented a long time ago. Now it's just harder to change and balance them, because they are too many (currently there are around 150 collectible Undead minions in the game) and some of them already have other tags (see Cutthroat Buccaneer or Sindragosa for instance).
I'd like to see dual tribes one day as well, that would be interesting; but the question is: Would they actually do it? Probably not...
I play every class almost equally (all golden!). Shaman is my favorite though; but unlike Hiei, I completely ignore Murlocs (except the ones that are still good without having tribal synergy, so I'm OK with a card like Sludge Slurper). I prefer elementals in shaman. And as a dude who loves playing control and midrange decks, I was so disappointed when I first saw the murloc cards for my favorite class during the livestream tbh. Well... At least we got Hagatha's Scheme, Witch's Brew and Walking Fountain. And Swampqueen Hagatha looks cool as well. So I'm not too bitter about the other legendary.
I agree. On the bright side, the DK cards will rotate outta standard; so good ol' control warrior will now be able to compete with other control decks at least (hopefully).
Bye bye mechs. I'm not gonna miss any of you!
Earthquake
I love strong board clears like that and Shaman is my favorite class. :)
That's definitely a Tol'vir, spesifically a Neferset (Tekahn's tribe). Could be Tekahn himself, we'll see...
Why is Elise a druid hero? Cmon man... And I've been waiting for a proper Druid hero for a looong time. Where's my Hamuul? :(
Sealed deck mode, that's what I want!
Sounds like Illidan Stormrage, doesn't it?
Only Tekahn, just because he exists in the Warcraft lore (not to mention he's a badass Tol'vir); not a non-canon goofball.

Just a theory from a reddit member but I thought it's a good one. Check Mike Donais' comment as well.

Oh right, she's one of the new characters in WoW. A minor one though...
