Seems more balanced now, possibly underpowered, but still usable. Dealing with the minions they get a few turns later is actually better, and 10 drops are arguably worse, with only colossus of the moon being the huge high roll.
I feel like maybe it's the variance? It's either a REALLY bad 4 drop in arena or an incredibly busted one (if you manage to get the all paladin thing). So it felt either bad to get, or bad to play against, which seems to be against Blizzards whole thing. Just speculating though.
I could be wrong as it's been a while since I've played WoW, but I believe the healing spec of paladin heals friendly characters as the paladin damages enemies. This is probably where paladin as a "Lifesteal" class came from.

They probably won't remove it. It seems to be a unique animation as far as I've seen, which means its an intended effect.
