I'm still not sure which keyword I'll go with, but I've updated Deputy Instructor to fit the criteria, as you guys pointed out.

Feedback + tooltips for those who don't have one:

    linkblade91
It's a shame you can't submit Burden, because it's absolutely brilliant (I remember it from years ago, btw). I don't like the other two

Among your other ideas, I think I prefer Encore. My main issue is the fact you have to submit several cards of the same class to showcase how it would play out, but that also makes it so that we can't see what other classes would do. If you end up going with it, change E.T.C by another card, since they've just announced another version of this character (I don't mind the overlap of expansion themes too much, but another E.T.C. is where I draw the line).

Launch seems to be the preferred option, and I also like it. I agree with Anchorman that Booster Rocket would be more interesting in Rogue (also, it's kinda like a Sap effect, so it still makes sense for the class).

    Demonxz95
A pretty cool twist on the Quest formula.

Among your cards, I think Assemble an Army is my least favorite card, but all four are solid.

    anchorm4n
The theme of the expansion is very strong, but I'm not a fan of the keyword itself, as needing a minion to survive several turns is very unreliable.

I'd probably make it like a Battlecry that happens some turns later. This would work very well with all your cards except The Prismatic Disk, but you can always change its effect.

    AeroJulwin
Now that they've introduced Overheal, Scrap feels like something we might get in the future.

I'm a pretty big fan of the mechanic itself, and both Law of Equivalent Exchange and Oddity Trader are very interesting uses of it (Unstable Void is also good, but not as creative).

My main advice is to use different watermarks to showcase it being evergreen, like Overheal. Of course, LoEE needs to keep the Alchemy watermark, but the other two cards can use different ones.

    Also, here's your tooltip :)

    Dolphinslayer
I don't know, I think it's a pretty solid keyword. I like the effect of both cards. My main issue would be the art, as the draenei in the Priest card is clearly an Arcane Mage and the Mage card doesn't have a very hearthstone style (also, it feels pretty complex for a common).

    Your tooltip:

    Matthieu
    Welcome abroad!

The effect is pretty cool, but I'd probably change the name, as the new expansion just introduced Harmonic spells, which are a totally different thing.

Deja Vu is a very natural name for such an effect, but you can use Chorus or something similar if you want to keep the music theme. I'd probably go with Deja Vu (which would need to completely change the flavor and art of Pogo-Hip-Hopper, but the other two cards just need a change of name).

    CursedParrot
Maddened is interesting, as we've never had a negative keyword, but it's too wordy right now. Also, your Yogg can't participate because it uses token cards, which is a shame because it's the best card.

Like other people, I'm not a fan of Fatal Flaw.

    Here are your tooltips:

I have two keywords I made for the custom Alchemist class and for a wild west expansion.

Transmute is a pretty handy keyword that allows you to get rid of cards you don't need to draw cards that you want. I'm not 100% on it, because such a small effect feels better as a Class keyword instead of an expansion one.

    Other Transmute cards

Gunslinger is like MTG's First Strike. It's kinda like a Divine Shield that only works for trading, but it also has some appliances that can't be done with that keyword, as shown by all three showcased cards.

    Other Gunslinger cards

It seems I'm the only one who prefers Recycling Bin over Defiling Accusation, so I'll go with the later card applying all feedback you guys gave me. Thanks everybody!

Feedback for the two people that didn't receive it:

    CursedParrot
I must agree with everyone else: Glaciate Un'goro is your best card and Ahune needs better art, an Elemental tag and to say "Elemental" capitalized.

Besides this, I'd also change its name to Bring the Ice Age or something like that, as this would reflect the "prehistoric" feel of Journey to Un'goro better.

    BloodMefist
Both are solid, but I like Corpse Conjurer a bit better. I agree with CursedParrot that it'd work better as a 1/2/2.

    Early feedback:

    linkblade91
I like the Battlecry a lot and the art is very cool. I agree with your take about its balance compared to the Priest Galakrond.

    Demonxz95
I'm not a fan of C'thun's Envoy, since its effect could be any class, which goes against the point of the comp IMO.

Regarding your other cards, both are pretty good, but I'm not sure which one I prefer. I'd probably slap an Unholy Rune or two to Strik, as its power level seems a bit strong for TGT.

    anchorman
Pretty solid card and artwork, although it's a bit similar to Deliverance. If you decide to go with it, I'd recommend making it a Shadow spell.

    Dolphinslayer
I like the idea, but I'd suggest dropping the runes, as these sort of archetypical legendaries (like Loas, Boomsday spells, etc.) should be universal. This is my opinion, of course, as we don't have any examples of this sort of cards in the game.

Now I'm curious to know what would the Spirit of the Spider do haha

Defiling Accusation is a bit of an obvious design, but I think it works pretty well as part of the Accusation cycle. Not sure if it works better as a Blood card (I think it makes more sense mechanically) or as an Unholy one (works better with the flavor of defiling).

Recycling Bin is probably my favorite of the two, but I struggle to find a power level that doesn't feel neither too weak for today nor too strong for GvG. It's always a difficult task to balance cards from vintage expansions.

I liked The Phoenix Chamber better, even if it collides a bit with Construct Quarter. I'm not sure about which iteration I'd go with, though. I'd say the Priest one, but I'm not sure about how dangerous the OTK potential would be.

Scarlet Monastery isn't bad, but it's effect feels closer to a Common than to a Legendary (not a fan of the art, either).

    Demonxz95
All of them are solid and with supperb artworks.

My clear favorite, though, is Bastion Arch (even if there are a lot of Priest cards here). Its effect feels very legendary and works very well with the location mechanic. I could see you winning the comp with it (again).

    AeroJulwin
Very creative effect, I like it a lot. I'd suggest reducing the Durability to 3 or even 2, as 4 is basically for ever (especially if you consider you might want to keep a single minions inside the prison for several turns).

    CursedParrot
The effect is alright, but I don't like it as a Neutral card. I'd suggest going for Mage, as the class has some connection with Yogg, and it's also known for its random effects. Might also suggest reducing its cost to 2.

    Bartigul
Not sure if you're new here, but welcome if that's the case!

Your card is pretty neat and I think it's balanced enough. I recommend writing a small piece of lore in the submission, as it's not as well known as other WoW locations, but it looks very cool and interesting.

    BasilAnguis
The effect is neat and works well as a Neutral card, but it's way too expensive as a 5 Mana card. I'd probably go with 2 or 3 Mana.

Also, a quest pannel doesn't look very legendary, even if it fits the effect. I'd suggest swapping the art and name for something more grandious that also fits the effect, like a well-known library in the WoW lore or a time portal.

I think flavor is quite important this time around. Picking an emblematic place for the Warcraft universe is surely a good way to go.

The Frozen Throne's effect is based on the fact that this place is what gives the Lich King his power to control the Scourge. Maybe it's a bit basic for such an iconic location, but I don't know. I know I made up the word "graveyard", but it's not something Blizzard hasn't made in the past.

Orgrimmar is actually a recycled idea that I ended up not submitting, but I wanted to bring it back.

    Very terrible advice

I believe the card you're looking for is called Mor'shan Elite.

This is what not playing Hearthstone for years does to a mf xd

    First batch of feedback:

    linkblade91
I'm not a fan of the spider cards, as Dormant doesn't seem to be part of Rogue's identity. Maybe a Sap effect would work better, at least for the Quarter (not for Maexxna, she would turn into Vanish on steroids).

About Razuvious, I kinda prefer the second one because of how dumb it is (in a good way), but it'd probably work better as a Neutral or as part of a core/initiate set, as it's kinda basic for an expansion legendary.

    anchorm4n
I find this effect to be a little hard to balance and make interesting at the same time. Right now, it will almost always deal 8-10 damage, which is too little variance for it to matter. On the other hand, making it cheaper would definetly break the card. I'd probably turn his effect into an AoE, while also lowering the Cost.

    Dolphinslayer
The first Sapphiron has a very interesting effect, but it's probably too expensive for it to work properly. The Mage version isn't bad either (but be careful, the Infused version needs to say "Battlecry"). Not a fan of Maexxna, though.

I think your two options are:

    • Find a character that makes sense with DK Sapph's effect but also makes sense as a 4-ish Mana minion.
    • Go with the Mage Sapph after adding Battlecry to the Infused version and maybe finding a better art for it.

    Demonxz95
I agree with linkblade, Skeletal Smith is your better card and also in that it's kind of too swingy as a 2-Mana card. I'd probably make it more expensive (with better stats ofc) and maybe also give it Taunt. At this point I'd suggest making it a Warrior card, but that'd go against what your aiming for XD

    CursedParrot
I like your idea about having a Quarter cycle. The second version is better, but it feels a bit too good. I'd probably make it 2 Durability, as rising the Cost to 2 would likely kill the card.

I want to focus on regular mobs, but I've been struggling to find good artworks for many of them, so I finally decided to go for Nerubians.

The renewable Stealth is supposed to represent the Crypt Fiends ability to burrow underground, while also supporting the minor Deathrattle theme Rogue had in MotLK.

I kinda want to keep it as a 4/4 because Nerubians usually have that statline, but I might change it because it collides a bit with Scourge Illusionist.

I'd also like to know if it'd be okay to simply call it Crypt Fiend (which seems to be the generic name of Undead Nerubians) instead of Crypt Reaver (a specific mob found in Naxx).

    Feedback time:

    linkblade91
I'd say I prefer this over the actual DK Location we got, although not by much. Its flavor fits the effect, but not the expansion, although I guess this is to be expected from a end-of-year miniset. Not sure what else to say, it's a solid card. The art is improvable, though.

    Demonxz95
Pretty cool. I think 3 Mana would be an appropriate cost, compared to Infantry Reanimator. Finally, I don't know if Polluted Pool is a real Naxx location, but if it isn't, I'd probably try to find one that fits the effect (I'm sure there'll be one, considering Naxx is sort of a giant Frankenstein lab).

    Me0203
All your cards are solid, but my favorite is Fresh Digs. It should really use the miniset watermark, though, as Dredge isn't allowed on the main MotLK set.

    Neoguli
I really like the basic idea of a witch that turns into a Dragon and how you combined both keywords, but I think the card still needs some polish:
    • The Infused version should lacks "Colossal +X" right after Infused. Right now, there's no way to tell how many Colossal tokens you'll get.
    • The art of both the Infused version and its token look pretty bad.
    • The token should probably be body part, like with all other Colossal minions. I'd probably Google a multi-headed Dragon and make the tokens its heads to solve both issues.

    CursedParrot
I like both, but I'd say I prefer Corpse Researcher. It probably needs a better statline (2/1, probably), as a tutored Novice Engineer is not nearly enough.

    Dolphinslayer
I'd say Sadistic Spellweaver doesn't count, but Suspicious Diver is quite interesting. The artwork doesn't fit Hearthstone, however.

Koma is a cool idea, but such a creature would be classified as a Beast in actual WoW lore, so I'd discard it.

    AeroJulwin
Effects of cards keeping enchantments under conditions they usually don't are always amusing, so thumbs up for that. I think it could easily be 2 Mana, since keeping buffs circumvents the main issue of Reborn (that is, how easy to remove they are after resurrecting).

    sunbird1002
Welcome! It's always awesome to have new people :)

All your cards are very solid for a newcomer. As a general tip for all them, they should use the Return to Naxx watermark, as they mix mechanics from all the year.

    • Bonehull is interesting, but it looks like a Rogue card, so make sure to clarify it's Neutral in the description. I also think the tokens should be Discover and summon instead of just Discover, as it's way too slow right now.
    • Suspicious Angler is cool, but another person had the same idea, so I'd advice going with another card.
    • Anub'arak is my favorite of your cards. My only issue is the fact the tokens don't synergize with the main body, so I'd give Anub Taunt too.

I have a bunch of ideas this time. Let me know which one you prefer andhow would you improve them.

Suspicious "San'layn" makes fun of the fact there are several types of vampires in the Warcraft lore. In particular, this guy is supposed to be a venthyr disguised as a vampyr, hence why it has synergy with Infuse and why it lacks the Undead tag. Not sure if this flavor is too obscure, but I think it's the main selling point of the card.

The other two cards are pretty straight forward, although I'm not sure if Master of Searemonies should work the other way around (if Dredge a spell, draw a Naga)

I feel like Zeliek, Conquestrider should be the actual card you can put in your deck, as he's clearly based on the First Horseman, which rides the white horse of victory.

I decided to go with Rexxar bc there's already too many Jainas, so here's two versions that try to correct the issue of not doing anything after three spells:

I prefer the flavor of the second one, as it portrays better the fact the Companions are Rexxar's beloved friends. However, it's too wordy (Animal Companion is too long for a keyword lol), so I think I'll go with the first one.

    Feedback:

    BloodMefist
I prefer Garrosh hands down. His effect is really cool and interesting; and also fits the character a lot.

Gul'dan's effect is also interesting (although not so much), but the main issue I have with it is how wordy it is, which makes the card look unappealing at first glance.

    Demonxz95
The new Jaina is cool, but I still prefer Thrall.

    anchorm4n
I like the damage version, as a Demon Highlander deck might be a bit too restrictive.

    CursedParrot
Both cards are solid, but I'd say I prefer Valeera, as she seems more fun.

Thrall's effect is a bit too abstract for my taste, if that makes any sense, but he's also cool. If you end up going with him, I like the alternate wording linkblade suggested the best, as it's also affects generated spells (unlike the second wording you suggested later)

    BasilAnguis
You polished your previous card a great deal. Well done! My only issue now is that the words "minion", "weapon" and "spell" should be written in lowercase. This affects both Thrall himself and Windlord's Blessing.

    Dolphinslayer
I think the new machine gun Jaina is my favorite among your cards, but I don't play Hearthstone, so I don't have PTSD from Sire Denathrius. The freeze all enemies version might be a safer bet, considering this (although she should probably cost 9, considering she powercreeps Deep Freeze a lot).

I'm not a huge fan of the artwork, as it looks like a WoW screenshot. You can use the same art I used if you want, as I think it's the same outfit. If you decide to do it, PM me so we don't collide.

Regarding your versions, I think your most recent one is the most interesting, but maybe it could cost 4 Mana as well. Dunno, it looks strictly worse than the second one you posted (the one that says "replace").

    Demonxz95
Both are solid, but I prefer Thrall. Its callback to the Classic set and its strong lore basis is something that I think works really well for this comp.

    anchorm4n
Both are solid cards, although I prefer Gul'dan. I like the art, but I think it's more appropriate for a spell. If you still want to go with it, you should zoom it more as you said. Regarding the effect, it fits Gul'dan a lot (Demons are very classic Warlock stuff and Lifesteal ties to his Death Knight hero from KFT), but I you should drop the Highlander requirement or reduce the Cost, IMO.

Regarding Valeera, her effect is pretty interesting. It has a lot of potential, but it requires a lot of setup and is quite expensive, so I think you did a good job in this regard. What I don't like as much is the lack of connection to Valeera as a character, which I think should be the focus of this comp.

    BasilAnguis
    Very flavorful card.

I'd probably make a couple changes to the Blessings:

    • Tidehunter's Blessing should probably give that Deathrattle to all friendly minions and not just Murlocs. It's still a Murloc generator, so I'd still be more useful in dedicated Murloc decks without making it useless in other builds.
    • Windlord's Blessing should only relate to Nature spells, IMO. My two suggestions are either Discover a Nature spell at the end of your turn or gain permanent Nature Spell Damage +1.
    • Stonemother's Blessing has a Common gem, while the other tokens don't.

    Neoguli
I prefer Uther, but it's a bit strange to have such a character as just a 3 Mana minion. Maybe make it a 5/5/5 and make him summon two Recruits?

Not a fan of Anduin, as Immune is very scary.

    Dolphinslayer
The second effect is way too complex, IMO; but I like the first one a lot. It's very similar to my own Jaina, but I like the effect of yours a bit better.

In any case, there are some aesthetic improvements you could apply to both cards:

    • Make the artwork focus more on Jaina.
    • Get rid of the Classic watermark.
    • If you go with the second effect, Arcane shouldn't be bolded.

    Aerojulwin
I like the second effect better, but I'd go with the first statline, since the lack of immediate impact + high Cost may make it too hard to use.

Ahem, here are my actual cards.

Both are related to mechanics from the Classic set that are related to the abilities these characters had in Warcraft 3.

Beastmaster Rexxar can summon a lot of Companions for not too much mana (he also encourages to use Huffer against minions, as you cannot have duplicates).

Admiral Jaina (the third Jaina lol) is the ultimate Freeze card, as the initial Blizzard will make it more difficult to remove both her and the Elementals, which will be able to Freeze more stuff if they survive. Her name is a reference to her dad, Admiral Proudmoore.
