Lucky and good at the list was a requirement when it was in standard, but when it got to Wild it was easier. Every expansion since has made it easier with twin spells, coin generators, and others spell creating cards. If someone cant finish the quest by turn 5 they are likely very very very bad at hearthstone or a complete noob playing less than a month. The way you defend it likely means its your favorite deck. Try something that isnt an automatic win.
I play wild a lot. There are several problem decks, chief among them is Quest Mage. It is non interactive and each expansion makes completing the quest easier.
Thanks for the warning. I had already dusted most of them. I was going to keep 2 copies of the commons I had lots of, the Priest legendary, and the DH epics. I had 15k dust so I wasnt hurting. But after thinking about it I dusted everything but the 2 copies of commons.
They look nice. But obtaining them is going to be hard. I started a month before Un'Goro and have a few cards from the earlier sets. Mainly to allow crafting cards from them as I play wild a lot.
At some point, like when you have 3 or more skins for most heroes, it because another meh moment when you hear about new skins. The cooking ones are particularly uninteresting to me.
The rope bot is common in wild. Most of the time its an odd warrior with tons of taunts. It will try and fill the board with cheap taunts. It will try and activate the hero power multiple times a turn, even if it has no mana left. It will look at the same card in the same place (2nd or 3rd from the left) multiple times a turn then retry the hero power multiple times even if it has no mana. It ropes each turn, and the rope never speeds up because it uses mana each turn with the hero power.
Its goal is to make it as aggravating as possible so the opponent quits. All the while building armor in hopes of outlasting anyone at the point of fatigue. Against some decks it may do that. It hasnt a prayer against Quest priest, Mecathun, or some mill decks. But it does take some time.
Make sure to start an Arena run and leave it open to get a free pack and a ticket to start a new run when the mini set goes live.
Make sure to start and/or leave a run going to get rewards and a ticket for a free run.

High skill cap, for a quest that can be completed by turn 5? I think not.

The longer I play the less I am likely to buy anything but the latest mini set or the rewards track. The main expansions are what gold is for.
I only played mercenaries to get rid of the annoying quest when it was launched. There just wasnt any money to invest in another game mode.
You can always contact Blizzard about it. Not sure if you will get results, but it wont cost anything to try.
I received mine about 4 weeks ago, but I am unsure exactly when.
Blizzard is in business to make money. Smart players understand this and dont spend when it isnt worth it. The Brawliseum isnt worth it.

Nice to know I will get a free legendary. I got Signature Grand Magister Rommath when opening packs and I have the paid rewards track.
Perhaps it would be a good idea to post these events a day before they happen. Posting as they start likely leaves people missing out on the drops.

Oh Joy, just what we need another uncraftable card type that we cant disenchant. I hope to get none of them,

Is it just me, or are the hero skins generally gone down in quality since they started flooding them?
I dusted all but the starfish. Even at 4 mana it has a place in two of my decks.
