You  could even play it without the epics and legendary and it would still serve a similar purpose. They're definitely nice additions but not absolutely crucial. Glad you're enjoying it!

I just tried using Molten Reflection on Khadgar today in the Tavern Brawl and it only created one copy of him. Shouldn't it create a second copy?

This new ranked system is so frustrating. It essentially forces you to ladder every month or you start falling really far behind and have to do a massive climb. And if you choose to constantly ladder, all you get placed against is the same fucking tryhards all the time unlike in the past when at least you could play low rank games and see unique decks. In my entire laddering of last season I never once saw a homebrew deck in wild. Great work community. New expansion comes out and every single player plays pirate warrior, jade druid, quest mage, secret mage, darkest hour lock, mech paladin or odd DH, all taken off the top netdeck list.

I love meme decks. My favourite new meme is Beastmaster Leoroxx with Gahz'rilla, Tundra Rhino and Giant Sand Worm in hand plus 2 ping spells. Can clear most taunts and hit face for 30+ damage.

Interesting! It’s cool to see the archetypes taken down so many paths! IMO, the only mandatory card so are 2x Nagrand and Call, 2x Spiteful and 1x Archivist. Second Archivist clogs up your hand and can whiff but not having 2x of both spell makes it super inconsistent

This is the deck I've been using. Been bouncing between Diamond 1 and 2 with it. I feel like it's better than the dragon variations I've seen. I had a buddy test it a bit and he'll be doing it a bit more now that he's in legend.

I've been climbing the wild ladder with Spiteful Hunter due to the wonderful new card Nagrand Slam and have been really enjoying the climb so far. Has anyone else tried out this archetype? Is it better to go for a beast subset or dragons? Thoughts?

Well to be fair the "try again" part is partially true in that if you didn't like your mage or hunter secrets that were offered, for 1 mana you get a pally secret and get a new choice of secrets. I wouldn't discount the power of a paladin secret in a chain like this.

Interesting. Is that a new change? I received copies of cards that I had previously dusted immediately upon opening my first few classic packs since the change

I don't know if this has been posted already but I have a feeling that Blizzard is going to change the way that they refund dust for nerfed cards from now on. Here's the reason why...

With the new changes to packs not giving duplicates of any rarity until all cards are acquired, this will allow people to gather a huge amount of dust by dusting their rares and commons that got nerfed, then opening a pack to get those cards again, dust them again and repeat. This nets a guaranteed minimum of 190 dust per pack if a rare and common got nerfed (100 from rare, 40 from each nerfed common, and 5 from the non-nerfed commons) but possibly more.

I'm guessing they'll put a fix forward for this and my best guess is that they'll limit the number of cards you can DE for full dust value to the number that you can put into a deck (1 legendary, 2 of each other rarity). I know that this could screw over people who mass collect copies of cards in anticipation of nerfing or never mass disenchant (I'm in this group) as you won't benefit from dusting all the extra copies, but I think it's a solution that's fair and consistent with their intention for providing dust refunds. The dust refunds are to benefit people who may have crafted the cards to use them in a deck or didn't DE them for dust to use on other decks as they were good at the time. Nobody would intentionally keep more copies than they could use in a deck if there wasn't a chance for extra dust on them upon nerfing. Also, they definitely have the coding to check this already as HoF only gives dust for the number of copies that could be used, similar to this solution.

So whether Blizz does this before or after the first round of nerfs and subsequent dust abuse for Outland, I feel fairly confident that they will implement a solution of sorts. I personally wouldn't mind this as I'm sitting on 13.5k worth of undusted cards that I'm holding onto in case of nerfs and it would stop my hoarding mentality from kicking in knowing that there's no consequence for dusting the extras.

What do others think? Has this been mentioned by the Hearthstone team already?

This is pretty insane in wild. If you can T2 a Totem Golem and then T3 coin + this, you'd be pretty set.

Maybe a water rogue comeback in wild with Finja, the Flying Star, Skyvateer, this card and some murlocs?

How's the Dragon/Murloc synergy going so far?
Really curious as it feels so counter-intuitive to dilute both tribes effectiveness, but I could totally be wrong.

Sorry for the late reply. I find it to be really strong. That being said, you have to pick your dragons wisely. Going with big dragons hurts your tempo game (particularly with Embiggen) so you're not left with a ton of choices. Thankfully none of the cards require you to have murlocs for anything so that part is not as restrictive. Even with dragons, there's only four triggers you need a dragon for so it's fairly easy to keep things rolling.

Thanks for this! I've been wanting to build a menagerie deck ever since I saw those new Murloc's coming out. Had a winstreak going in Wild with this deck and it's also pretty fun to play, no one really expects it and if you play well, you'll be way ahead on board. I just had one question, What do you think about: Hench-Clan Hag ? It summons Amalgams, which fit the menagerie theme but it doesn't work so well with Embiggen

Sorry for the super late reply! I debated putting in Hench-Clan Hag. My only criticism of the card is that it doesn't provide any in-hand synergy, only on-board synergy which all of our other cards do already. Since most of our cards are based off of in-hand (aside from the menagerie buffs), it makes more sense to put in a card from a specific tribe instead.

Cool deck. Any reason to pick Shark over Brann? With Brann being cheaper it could allow some flexibility in how many non-combo pieces you could still have in hand. My guess is that you could still use Minstrel in the combo with shark in case you didn’t draw Noz or Pillager

I do agree with you in that right now might not be the most necessary time for it. But depending on how the meta shapes up, this variation stands a chance. Thanks for the input!

Oh man. The trolling you could do with this + Sir Finley Mrrgglton in wild. I don't know how prevalent some of the big hero power decks are but for some it's their win condition (Dr. Boom, Frost Lich, Rexxar, Gul'dan to some extent)

I've been dreaming of this card for years and constantly had arguments on Hearthpwn with people saying why it would/should never exist. I'm happy to see that it does, even though I doubt it will impact the meta in any significant way in wild or standard.

Super late response but you keep an Innervate for after you play Linecracker.
