I don't know how Quest Rogue was fairing in wild, but this is a nice way to make Sonya to be used as intented: a value generator using little copies of big battlecriers/deathrattlers/EoT users.
This change would have made the last few months of standard Quest Rogue look less painful for control decks, though.
Lul. You have no idea how questrogue competes in wild, but you like it. You deserve my down vote for that. :D
And thx to this change Sonya Shadowdancer is unplayable now. I want my dust refund.
Sonya is still playable in a range of other decks. That's a ridiculous reason to ask for a dust refund. Quest Rogue will be just fine with this interaction changed. Just swap out a couple of cards and move on. N
The consistent calculation for giving you lethal, especially with cards you have no business having, looks a bit scary. They definitely succeeded tho with creating a card that will make highlander decks in Standard worth it by itself and will make creating decks with Explorers more fun and common. But damn, if this card doesnt pack some insane value and potential.
My only concern with Highlander in standard is Bomb Warrior. Too many Bombs shuffled into your deck will pretty much be game over.

Excited to try this card out! The devs seem very excited about this one, and it sounds like they put A LOT of work into it. It's great to have something so different added to the game!

It's not comments he doesn't like, it toxic comments. OOC is better than hearthpwn because the toxicity here is nothing like Hearthpwn. If you can't say anything that contributes to a good community, why would people want to see what you say?
I was thinking of standard. I know nothing about wild...they will kill me even before I play a card there!
Wild is mostly Big Priest, Odd Paladin, Odd Rogue, Even Shaman, Mech Hunter and some Reno decks. It's really not a scary place where you will be killed instantly. I highly suggest trying Wild. I have a lot more fun in Wild than in Standard.
Flame Ward is pretty sweet. Still making my way through checking them all out
Hunter was my first. Hit 500 back during MSoG using a Secret Deck back when Hunter was in the gutter. That was a grind...
Then came my Paladin (Ashamed to admit I made the final push using Odd Pally in Standard and Wild... I'm sorry...)
I'm currently working on Shaman (299) and Rogue (303?).
Warlock (277ish?) was my next main focus, but when RoS hit... well... RIP Warlock for a bit
Priest (220?) isn't far behind. I can't bring myself to play Big Priest to farm wins
Warrior, Mage and Druid are all sitting in the gutter under 50 wins each. Warrior I finally have at lvl 59 which will get me all 9 classes at lvl 60.
Not bad! Wish it had come at the beginning of the year, but better late than never!
Wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of bomb warriors on day 1 farming all the people who are trying out new highlander decks :(

Don't underestimate card draw. But this seems like too much card draw. Good way to end up burning cards.
Disappointed. Was really hoping for a much more interesting hunter quest.
