In order for mill to be anything other than negative for the game, there would need to be far more graveyard/burned interaction to offer a counter beyond 'do something your deck is explicitly designed not to do". That some people enjoy the playstyle and that the playstyle requires a skilled operator does not mitigate the potential downside for the meta.

Amalgam is hardly a consistent path to the crown.  The key to victory is managing the pool to deny triples and synergy to the players you will face once the rabble is eliminated.

Gotta love software, it seems to work great and passes all the tests, and then millions of people try to break it.  It looks like a long weekend for Team 5.

Tracking is a very misunderstood and often misplayed card.  The proper use depends on your deck's win condition and your opponent's win condition.  Consider this example.  In the image, Tracking is used when facing mage.  It offers Ursatron, Mecharoo, and Galvanizer.   Since this is very likely Conjurer's Calling mage, the only way I can win is to draw into the Missile Launcher + Venomizer combo and hope he overextends his board or lacks immediate removal.  I take Ursatron because I already have Venomizer and want to try for Missile Launcher (using Ursatron's deathrattle) to set up my win condition.  More importantly, the other two cards are something I absolutely do not want to draw in the next couple turns.   It will be tough enough to survive until 8 already and pulling a Mecharoo would basically be game over.  Now if Ursatron wasn't there and it was, say, Bomb Toss, I would take Galvanizer because it could discount the combo pieces and get it out earlier.  The Bomb Toss will be completely useless against this mage build since it can drop a board of huge minions.  This way, I'm not 'losing' two cards, I'm drawing something I want and getting rid of cards I don't.  Tracking takes quite a while to learn when to use and what to go for in each matchup because it is deceptively versatile.

That explains what I saw, pretty cool.

This has happened with previous expansions as well.  Some people even had cards in their library that could not be played in a deck.

Cybertech Chip has been the MVP for me.  Played on a full board, it refills your hand with mechs of a variety of cost.  With the extra cards and the ability to play on curve and go face, it's easy to outclass their production.  The dark horse award goes to Faceless Rager which gives you a 5/6 early in the game. Of course, you could always decide to play Warrior and Explore Un'Goro. Here's the deck I used:

Nice, good chance for hunter to stay on top with this obvious auto-include.

The problem I see in deck building is curve.  This card would be presumably used with minions that have most of their cost in the deathrattle (Mechanical Whelp.  If you have to be holding a bunch of high costed cards to get value, how to balance that with surviving the early game?

I agree with the people saying it looks good but probably isn't as great as it looks.   Reminds me of Revenge of the Wild which sees little play.  People thought it was bonkers when it was revealed.  Still, it looks like it will be a lot of fun and I'm sure we see it in the highlight reels.

This is basically shaping up to be payback time for priest.  Priest is so shit right now, but with this reborn crap and that freaking silence and clear everything, it may be a whole new can of whoop-ass for Anduin.

This is always a challenge for me with wild mech OTK.  My advice is don't concede, it takes some skill to execute and they may eff it up (I know I have with the bot OTK)

Home is a long way away.  I consider dusting a strategy and a big part of the game.  For instance, I play the same deck on all accounts - even the F2P ones.  I look at the cards and dust what I can to get a winning deck for the meta and hopefully beyond.  On my P2W account, I never dust anything except extras, but for F2P I would advise finding a deck you really like, something T1 in the meta, but also look for versatile cards like Zilliax that are good in everything.  Extra, Rarity:Legendary, and Rarity:Epic are a great dustmine.

Of course, I will but why miss a chance to grouse about Blizzard and shady deals and they shit they pull day in and day out.  Joking aside, I believe operations and content have improved substantially since the re-org and appreciate the direction of the managers of the new shop.  Props :), I even bought that wild bundle for dust, well played.

Finally, the tavern is always open.  Should have been this way the whole time.  I don't really care about the rest of it except, perhaps Vanish going away.

What to do about these mech hunters everywhere?  Every match I play I see a mech hunter, coming at me with their stupid Missile Launcher + Venomizer, which probably costs them 6 because of dumb piece of shit Galvanizer.  Argh!

It's like the keep galvanizer and venomizer, and ursatron to get tempo while fishing for missile launcher.

Aggro Murloc Shaman, Everyfin is Awesome with this deck.  It beats them or it fails quickly.  Just keep in mind that in Wild, the early tempo doesn't matter as much because all classes have access to substantial healing.  Don't drop the murlocs until you can bait out some removal and drop enough of them to stick.  If you played murloc shaman in standard, you already have most of the cards.

You know what? I used to play this a few years ago and I kinda dropped out. I couldn't afford Hearthstone and this. But seeing as I have a near complete Hearthstone collection now, I might come back into it. Do the old decks still work? I'm thinking Drone Decks and Pantsless Rakano... 🤔

My problem is that I don't have enough time to learn both, let alone play them.  Eternal seems to churn out a lot of complex mechanics on a frequent basis.   My account has 80k dust that I can't begin to figure out what deck to make.  Haven't logged in in months.

Eternal weapons work much better than in HS.  You can't go face if they have a minion.  The durability of the weapon is it's armor so there aren't any limits to how many swings, just until you kill enough minions that the weapon is destroyed.  If you 'armor up' the weapon gains durability too, but the weapon also takes any damage the hero takes.

I also love the sidebar.  Each class has a 'market' card/s.  When you put one in your deck, you select 5 class cards to be your 'market'.  When you play the market minion, you pick a card in your hand to put in the market and then choose a card from the market.  It's a smart sidebar because you pay a tempo cost (market minions are statted lower) to use a sidebar vs not having one.

Now I know that people are going to think I have a screw loose, but HS needs a 'poison hero' as Eternal has.  When your hero has poison, any attack or spell cast has poisonous.  It also has an exodia-style 'poisonous to heroes' build-around
