They REMOVED [Hearthstone Card (Armor Smith) Not Found] from Core just so they can print this when Armor Smith is a strictly better card in almost every situation. Hell, Eternium Rover is better than this.
There's no way to gain multiple instances of Armor right now and since they printed this there will never be so what is the fucking point? Could have made it at least give 3 extra armor so the 3-mana Hero Power combo isn't just Odd Warrior for peasants.
There is no reason in hell why this couldn't gain +3/+3. Actually none. It's a soloist, so it's not a tempo card meaning it only goes into Control and Control does not care for a fucking 5-mana 7/7 with Rush. What are we clearing with this, Boulderfist Ogre?
There are some scenarios where this is really good. Getting One Amalgam Band duplicated could be very relevant for taking back control of the board and there might be other archetypes where you can just stockpile tribal threats, but I REALLY don't think doing a faithful callback to one of Rastakhan's many underwhelming legendaries was a good idea.
Unless the last card is super busted Fire Tutor (it won't be) there is no playable archetype. Menagerie is a bad meme with no endgame and the cards revealed so far are barely good enough for Arena.
I guess it's just Tony Warrior until it inevitably gets nerfed.
Okay, but what do I use it for? Lightshow costs (3) so I doubt that's gonna be it and we haven'T seen any Big Spells yet. Why did they reveal this now?
Love it, but the support around it looks a little bit awkward. Consistency is not going to be its strength, but then again, we are in a 4-set meta now so discovers are generally better.
That being said, maybe Vexallus can actually be useful now
Anyways, this is great, especially since you choose what to double up on. Will probably see play in every Mage deck just because it requires no deck-building to make it good.
Like he just knows this shit is going to be obnoxious to play against and doesn't even bother to hype it up beyond "yep, Druid is Hero Power Mage mixed with Odd Warrior now, good fucking luck"
Is this not just kind of broken? Assuming this just combines your attack and armor total into two fat taunts meaning that playing double Plating at 6-mana gives you double 8/8s on turn 7.
How is that fair exactly?
I'm wondering if it makes a difference between gaining Attack and gaining Armor; as in, does gaining Attack improve the Quilboar's Attack, while the Armor increases their Health? Then you would need to balance it out if you want double 8/8s.
After watching the Video (which I should have done from the get go) it appears you are entirely corrrect, which makes the card a lot less busted, but still very scary (putting massive taunts in the way while you hammer them with hero power attacks is good enough)

That would actually make sense. Not very intuitive and the wording would be crap, but that's just par for the course I guess.
Honestly, that's the only way I could see them printing this at 7-mana, I hope you're correct.
I do kind of like that their approach to making archetypes viable is just to give them a conditional Pot of Greed.....especially because it works every time.
There is no words to describe this embarassment.
Just so you understand what went down here:

This COULD be good IF it counts dual-tribe minions twice.
If you play Murmy on one and this upgrades by two, it is actually not bad at all and couuld be a good foundation for Amalgam Warrior.
If not, then this is just a spit in the face of Warriors considering Rhyme Spinner was printed with way more support and better baseline stats.

Getting One Amalgam Band duplicated could be very relevant for taking back control of the board and there might be other archetypes where you can just stockpile tribal threats, but I REALLY don't think doing a faithful callback to one of Rastakhan's many underwhelming legendaries was a good idea.
Well. Warrior is doomed.

Pretty weak. It's Guild Trader, but you have to jump through hoops to get the effect. I don't see it happening.
Sounds alright, but I'm not sure how consistently you can get Lightshow back.
Feels redundant, but it's a good discover from Vision of Darkness I guess

4-MANA SPRINT THAT TUTORS
Ah, memories

Eh, too gimmicky (but maybe really good in Arena).
At the end you probably don't really care that much about your opponent's minions and it's not like Priest is starving for removal.
Alright, I'm already thinking about running Control Shadow Priest with E.T.C to get this for my Svalna.
I don't care if it sucks, it calls to me.
I really hope Lightshow Mage works out, even if it's toxic as hell.
Add Unending Swarm in there for some real funny stuff.
+15/+15 on each Hero POwer is possible now.
Good luck to anyone trying to make a different lategame strategy possible
I love Rarran's passive-aggressiveness.

SO Control Driud is just a thing now I guess. Basically does the same thing as Mage except you also get to outsustain any damage.
Can even use Unending Swarm to crank the numbers up even higher.
I know it's a meme, but it really does feel like Druid just keeps poaching Warrior's identity.
