I understand why the change was needed, but I can't look past the fact that it looks so "slapped together at the last minute."

The problem with the overlapping text from what I can tell is only on Spell cards since they have less room.  A simple solution would be to remove the "Burst, Fast, or Slow" tag seen in the middle of a Spell card to give more room for more text and the region icon.  That tag alone looks like it has the space to fill two more lines of descriptive text.  I've never understood why the spell speed was in two places anyway.

Also, it's worth noting that this is also the patch that turn timers will grant rebates during cinematic effects like champions leveling up and the KDA cards per an additional tweet by Riot.

Consider me ready for the glorious evolution.

How long has this specific quest been broken?

Asking because I know I completed this one a couple days ago with a Kalista + Shark Chariot deck and had no problems earning progression.

I think it'll be Shurima in Feb. 2021 and The Void in Aug. 2021.  That really only leaves Ixtal as the remaining region.  The problem though is that Ixtal has far fewer champion representation than other regions. 

I'd hate for Ixtal to be left out of this game, because there's a lot of potential the LoR team can make with the jungle environment that it's known for.  Maybe they'll shuffle around some champions in the lore to settle there or maybe it can become a joint region with Shurima like P&Z is.

My favorite deck this expansion is a Demacia / Targon dragon deck.  I run a couple copies of Zenith Blade too so that my ever growing dragon army doesn't get stopped by tiny followers.  It's a shame I don't see that card more often, I love it. 

I guess we should be on the hunt for the new quests.

Between all these and the new Lab coming tomorrow, this will really help when deciding where to spend my precious wild cards first.

Can anyone explain why Whimsy! has "Silence" attached to it?  Isn't transforming a follower into a 1/1 Squirrel with no text or keywords already silencing it in a way?

If the Silence effect remained permanent after the round ended and the follower transformed back, then it would make sense.  Transform and Silence just seems unnecessary.

I assume this one is fairly new as well.

It doesn't.  Poison Puffcap is the only "Trap" effect in the game currently and no other card boosts its damage.  

At the end of every season there's a partial reset based on where you placed:

• Master accounts will drop 800LP (8 divisions). 
• Diamond and Platinum accounts will drop 750LP (7 divisions + 50LP).
• Gold and Silver accounts will drop 675LP (6 divisions + 75LP).
• Bronze and Iron accounts will reset to Iron IV.

Right now, there's not much difference between seasons aside from the player icon you get as a reward at the end of it.  However, starting with the new expansion launching in late August, new cards will be introduced into the game every two months. That just so happens to be the length of a season.  When that happens, each new ranked season will feel like a brand new meta to try and figure out.

Literally Undrinkable.

Yasuo's been one my favorite champions since the start of Beta.  Just him dashing across the board to slice and dice opponents is cool enough for me.  However, I understand that he's not the greatest champ in the meta right now.  Still that doesn't stop me from trying out fun and stunning combos with his supporting cards. 

When everything falls into place, it's very satisfying to either chip away at your opponents resources slowly or have a big swing turn with an Intimidating Roar.

Looks like Maokai just found a new best friend.

I really like the art on those new Sea Monster cards.  Not to mention that The Beast Below continues the 4 mana 7/7 meme.

This has to be Nautilus right?  Can't wait to see what his effect is.

Stormclaw Ursine is an interesting card.  It's way overstated for 5 mana, but it doesn't have a rarity gem.  I think this might be the final form of a weaker card that evolves later, maybe through being Enlightened. 

That, and the fact that some of the leaked voices a few weeks ago line up well with Quinn's interactions.

The "Greatwood Ranger" has a dog barking before he speaks.  "Bertrand" sounds like an old man, so that could be this seasoned Yordle character.  Also, the "Stag Ranger" is pretty self explanatory with that picture. 

I can understand Vladimir and Kalista having low play rates, but...Shen?  One of the decks I see quite a bit is the Fiora/Shen barrier deck and it does quite well at that.  Maybe they mean Shen being combo'd with other champions, but who knows.

I like that Riot's being very transparent during the Open Beta as you'd expect any developer to be.  I really hope these types of posts continue after the global launch.
