Maybe should have put this in the salt thread, because I am definitely pretty salty right now ... but maybe their is some room for discussion here.

IMHO, Something needs to be done about the Giant / Kadgar / CC combo. Crazy, over-the-top combo's in Tier 3 decks are one thing. They are another when they are Tier 1, and shaping a big part of the meta.

If they get the nut draw, it's pretty much game over on Turn 5-6 if you can't deal with an 8/8 on Turn 4. Once you are staring down four 8/8's or 7/8 taunts, the options are pretty limited.

And even without the nuts, you are facing death anytime you can't remove a giant. And even THEN, they can play the entire combo from hand at some point.

I know there has been talk of HoF'ing giants, but I am kinda against that. Just bump the cost of CC to 5. The combo potential is still there, but it at least pushes it back a couple turns.

    Thoughts?

So earlier this week, I made it to Legend for the first time, and today, I got to play (and beat) Brian Kibler! I am almost embarrassed to admit that I was essentially starstruck. For starters, I am an old school MtG player, so Kibler is basically a living legend in my opinion. It was also the first time I have ever played against (that I know of) one of the Hearthstone pro's.

And, for what it's worth, I did resist the urge to snipe him. I only looked at Twitch after I knew the game was done, just to see if it was actually Kibler.

    Now What? !!!

After 1 year, 10 months, and 8 days, I finally beat the grind, and made it to Legend. This was my first push to make it in quite a while, since I usually just settle for rank 5. But after hitting a really good win streak early on, and getting to Rank 2, I decided to actually try to stick with one deck, and put in the games. The deck I used was Control Warrior, teching a few cards in and out as needed. I was really surprised at how dramatically the meta seemed to change just between Rank 2 and Rank 1, and even inside Rank 1 as I got closer to 5 stars.

Honestly ... I stopped actively participating in the community at Hearthpwn because it had just become downright toxic. I really have high hopes for OOC, and that perhaps with a smaller community it will be better, or at least more controlled. Obviously, I am not new to the internet ... and I do have thick skin. But there is also a point where participation stops being fun.

Been having good luck with control warrior ... IF ... the Paladin doesn't play smart. Running double silence, I let them dump as many mech's into one minion, then silence and kill it. It's working for now, but it won't be too long before they adapt and start going wide instead of trying to build one or two super-mech's.

I am guessing this is also causing the issue I am having with trying to log in through Amazon App on Bluestacks (since it is technically a mobile client). Right now, I just get stuck in an Update loop when I try to log in.

From my experience, Warrior mirror matches (bomb or control) often come down to when each player gets Dr.Boom on board, RNG of his Hero Power, and best use of Drone Delivery.

I have tried using different techniques of when to load my opponent up on bombs, but, to be honest, I'm not 100% sure it matters. Playing that way just gives them more time to build armor, and even if I stick them with every possible bomb, they just eat them.

I have also seen a lot more bomb warriors running Elysiana with the rise of control warrior, and the outcome again seems to fall on Dr. Boom. (and Ely's cards).
