We've got news out of Weekly MTG that we'll be seeing MTG Arena's mobile launch this month! Launching in Early Access on January 28, you'll be able to play Kaldheim and all the usual fun on MTGA.

  • iOS is coming later this year.
  • Initially only available on newer Android phones (past 2ish years). 4 GB of RAM and certain chipsets are a requirement.
    • They are looking to reduce the requirements during early access to allow more players to join.
  • Completely cross-platform. Your account works on both PC and Mobile.
  • You can only be logged in to one device at a time.
  • They are keeping an eye on how tokens are working in the game for mobile.

If you have an Android device, you can signup under Google Play's open beta program. Search for "MTG Arena" on Google Play after maintenance on January 28 to opt-in and download the client.

Supported Devices

Your phone must be newer to play the Early Access version of MTG Arena on mobile. Having a Kirin 970, Snapdragon 845, or Exynos 9810 is within the minimum requirements. These requirements will be lowered as the game gets tested and optimized.
