MEGA Inferno Bomb... deal 1 damage 😂
Haven't seen anyone say this, but I think you can run Ziggs in mono-Shurima Sundisk.
Which might be terrible. But it's a thing.
I don't know the lore for Ziggs but is there a cause for him being tied to Shurima from a lore perspective? I would have thought he'd be P&Z or something. I mean if there is a reason for it then that's fine but otherwise if they needed a champ for Shurima/BC I feel it would've been better to make an entirely original one.
Amumu could've been the Shurima yordle, Ziggs has a story in zaun, also his character fits PnZ so.. So it's purely game play.
Veigar don't have any connection with Shadow Isles either nor does Teemo with P&Z or Lulu with Ionia. They are probably just gonna add a line or two in their flavor text to justify their presence in said region.
Veigar has the connection of being tortured by Mordekaiser for years at least, who made him mAd & eViLLLL, Teemo is easily connected to PNZ because the shrooms, and Lulu can be in Ionia, cuz she enter a magical forest in his lore, who can easily be in Jonia. Ziggs doesn't have a thing to in Shurima. Only bombtesting, who they made he do, so...
Veigar : So what if he was tortured and became evil ( well as evil as Yordle can get ), you don't belong in Shadow Isles because you are evil, you need to have so connection to the black mist.
Teeno: Teemo puffcaps growing in P&Z was only added in Legends of Runterra.
Lulu: The magical forest is not Ionia it's the Glade, it's a middle area between Bandle City and the rest of Runeterra
Teemo: Makes perfect sense growing the shrooms on PNZ, its the home of fellow yordles and the home of the science, and the fuck!ng exploding mushrooms probably come from the Runaterra version of Monsanto, would probably be in PNZ. (More of this at the end)
Veigar: Is not a need to be a Mistwraith to live in the Isles. Is a very powerful place magically talking, and you skipped the part of Mordekaiser torturing Veigar, and yes, Mordekaiser tecnically is a part of the pre-noxian folk (The Noxii) who live were now is Noxus (and being real, Veigar was imprisoned in the Immortal Bastion, and lived with the Noxii, so he can be easily a BC/Noxus) but he has a VERY strong conecction to the Isles, so i dont mind he being secondary from SI. Also, Veigar is constantly portrayed as the meme supervillain, so were you're gonna put it?
Lulu: You got me in there, the Glade is an ambigous place, but knowing that Ionia is the most-magical-zone you can stretch it and can be accurate to connect the dots and the Glade to Ionia.
Also, i thinked in the day and Riot with Ziggs demonstrated that the Regions really doesn't matter at all to them, they wanted Ziggs to have some landmark-destruction thing (who is very flavorful), so they made him Shurima, cuz Shurima is the landmark region and PNZ dont have landmark sinergy, and they justified it with all the desert bombtesting thing, who is neat, they did the same with Teemo and the shrooms connecting he with PNZ, and also with Lulu, putting all the fae-like things in Ionia. The real problem with multiregion cards is why Riot decided to make them only Bandle City exclusive, cuz much cards have potential to be double region and make neat interactions (For example, Senna being Demacia/SI, they would be funny and flavorful)
Absolutely zero things who make Ziggs in Shurima logical. Ziggs may be in PNZ, literally he works with Heimerdinger. In LOR, they established Shurima as a safeplace for the yordles to make bomb testing i think, so is only for that, thing that to me, a lore fanatic and enthusiastic to the level of being barely and expert, makes me angry. And they dont have to make an original yordle for Shurima/Bandle, they got Amumu, who is confirmed to be a yordle, they got Rumble, who in a Universe story is in Shurima and in canon doesn't have a second region (He only lives in Bandle) and having the scrapyard mech + desert they could make a mad-max reference theme (Rumble also have's a skin of that!) and also, if they were insane, they could make Kled, being Noxus/Shurima, being Shurima for being conquering the newest Noxian lands!
Ziggs is only Shurima by game needs, who makes me sad.
Amumu is not confirmed to be a Yordle, in the lore no one know his true origin, some Shuriman believe that he was a prince from the first imperial family while other think that he was a Yordle.
The Amumu lore is like the Fiddlesticks one, he is a like a folk-legend in Shurima, they're plenty histories and one is he being a yordle, also is very unlikely that having a race of little people they want to have Amumu being a dead child, it was the first idea and its a thing that only League have, but not making Amumu a yordle will be a very missed hit. I know for sure you seed the yordle-Amumu fan reworks, they're amazing, but i falls on being fan speculation like all what i said, but it will be very clever making him a yordle, idk, in my mind works. Also, something i dont said up, the effects on Ziggs are so "simple" that Amumu or Rumble can be him making his effect the Amumu bandage toss or the double taser for Rumble. Sorry if my english is bad.
Based on the lore what I've read there's zero connection between Ziggs and Shurima, he's heavily associated with Zaun. However, there's another yordle, Rumble, who has a story where he's in Shurima so I really don't know why they put Ziggs there instead. Maybe there are too many dual region yordles in P&Z already with Heimerdinger and Teemo.
That's fair, but I feel they didn't need to bring Ziggs in right now. They could just put someone who fit Shurima and let Ziggs come along down the road when a P&Z yordle is justified.
From a powerlevel aspect I wouldn't rate Ziggs too highly but from a flavour perspective he is easy 5/5 stars
All people, listen me, right now, Ziggs is CLEARLY being made to be played with Xerath and all the landmark thingies, but what about the interesting form of playing it in a plunder deck? he can trigger it very easy + all the Impact cards + think Kegs + Ziggs effect, ISN'T THE BEST, but he is very flexible in the form of being a good Champion card (Except his level up condition) for many decks i think. His Level 2 is very good and very Xerath-is-my-best-friend but its ok. His followers are good, Safety Inspector ensures you're gonna activate and Level Up your Ziggs and Xerath (Meanwhile you have landmarks to crack), Bomber Twins is very weird but very Shurima-is-the-landmark-region so is good! Also Taliyah and Malphite exists soooo... Inventive Chemist is just a good card, she can find a place in so much decks cuz is just a 1mana 2/1 + a landmark who pings face, who is CLEARLY for Xerath and Ziggs Lvl. 2, but is good in general. The Arsenal seems bad, 8 mana is a lot, and having 6 hp is weird, why he can not be a, i dont know, 6/8? i know, he has a BIG POSSIBILITY of gainind Spellshield/Elusive/Overwhelm but VS a thing like that you're gonna kill it FAST (literally), so idk. Bouncing Bomb, Mega Inferno Bomb and Yordle Contraption are very very weird, the first two seem a little weak BUT WITH KEGS THEY'RE NUTS so, again, idk, then Yordle Contraption is just two cards in one, were you want one or the other effect, i can't see why in your landmark deck you gonna want some multiregion bois and viceversa. Hexplosive Minefield is NUTS AND ALL THE DRY FRUIT OF THE WORLD, is not only powercreeping over Guile, it's TWO Guiles! and a destroyable landmark so Xerath and Ziggs love him, i want someone using it in a Yasuo deck CUZ ITH ZTUMS.

Guess this was a natural outcome, having Ziggs be about destroying allied landmarks. Both for his own flavor of being a demolitionist, and to be paired with Xerath for gameplay purposes.

It's so hilarious that all the cards were from the Ziggs archtype/theme except Pokey Stick. And out of all memes, Pokey Stick isn't a bad card, we were talking about Group Shot being a better Blade's Edge but Pokey Stick is a better Blade's Edge and Group Shot.
