The final Masters Tour event of the year has arrived, and this time we're heading to Bucharest, Romania. Over 300 players from all regions gather to compete for their share of the glory and the $500.000 prize pool (up from the initial $250.000 thanks to the community). The stakes will be high as top 2 prize money earners of this year's Masters Tour events are eligible to be invited to Hearthstone Grandmasters, and given the current situation, the victory here would guarantee a spot at the elite competition. Tournament Format
This will be the first Masters Tour event that is held in Conquest format. Specialist is now gone for good.
- All games are played as Best-of-5, exception to the usual Best-of-3 of this year's tournaments.
- A total of 9 Swiss rounds, with Top 8 advancing
- Day 1: 5 rounds of Swiss, players with 3 or more wins advancing to day 2
- Day 2: The remaining 4 rounds of Swiss
- Day 3: Top 8 single elimination bracket

Starts at 8 am local time? I can imagine that won't be easy for some of the players.
It perfectly pairs up with the event that occurred this summer: I live in CEST time zone and it was live from 1:00 am to 8:00 am or so (I don't remember it perfectly, but it was in deep night).
I guess that if you right that comment it means the situation is the same to you now, right?
Unfortunately there will always be a portion of the player base that will be shafted by the scheduled time, so it's better overall to "rotate".
9AM since Romania belongs to Eastern Europe time zone. Still not easy for all gamers.
