From reviving old archetypes to creating new ones, the Worldwalker expansion has certainly had an impact on the Legends of Runeterra meta. Today we're taking a closer look at five decks that have been influenced by the newest set one way or another.

Deep

I'm completely unbiased to begin the post with Deep (despite playing a good amount of Deep when it was first released as well as just before the latest expansion; and that was before Undergrowth was revealed as well). If milling and/or big Sea Monsters are your thing, you are able to play Deep in the Worldwalker meta with decent success.

Nami/Illaoi

More sea-related decks! I'm not even sure what's the idea behind this Champion pairing, but it seems to have found some success (based on Mobalytics' stats) with a few region combinations as well. Let me know in the comments if you figure out the synergy that I'm missing!

Elites

Bard continues to Bard around all regions possible, with one of the more popular ones being a team-up with Zed. This deck, however, mostly ignores the Chimes and instead uses Demacia's stat buffs to level Bard up as the condition does not require the Boons to do the work. A very Garen-esque deck indeed.

ReverendArvide has been having fun with a off-meta Bard/Caitlyn combo.

Viego Deserter

Legion Deserter is such a curious card! If an ever-growing Viego wasn't a handful to deal with already, you can now have another three backup Viegos with Overwhelm. Some list even include the rarely-seen Katarina for some extra attacks. I wouldn't be massively surprised if the card sees a nerf at some point so this deck might belong to the play-it-while-you-can section.

Jayce/Heimerdinger

The Arcane fans' choice. The two inventors are slinging Hextech machinery left and right with this Control-oriented list which just about counts as Worldwalker-inspired due to its single copy of Piltovan Tellstones. The keen-eyed and lore-knowing have already noticed that the card's flavor text is teasing Orianna. Soon?
