Just like they did with Master Duel, Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel has been shadow-dropped. Not for all regions and devices however, as first players seem to be limited to Android users in Canada, Hong Kong and the Netherlands.

In case you haven't kept up, Cross Duel is a mobile game that takes on the fast-paced approach of Duel Links and combines that with chaotic 4 player Duels. New functions like Monster Skills are introduced to keep things fresh compared to the standard game of Yu-Gi-Oh. We can expect world wide access to the game to follow in the upcoming days or weeks.

Ich finde, dass Cross Duell eigentlich gar kein Yugioh mehr ist. Die Mechaniken sind ganz anders und nur noch die Monster erinnern noch an Yugioh. Das Gameplay ist absoluter Müll. Echt schade wie tief KONAMI schon gesunken ist
Hab es mir selbst mit VPN runter geladen. Bin echt enttäuscht ☹️

For real tho, I feel like the way Master Duel performed well without much advertising convinced them to keep that up. Something along the lines of "too big to fail".
