Hello everybody, and this week is the time to bring back a tradition that I always do at the end of the season. It's the recap article. Season 5 ran from April 25th to September 12th, and it's almost hard to believe that we've already ran 5 of these. This has been a season that went through a lot added to Hearthstone. Dredge, Infuse, and an entire new card type in the form of locations are pretty huge additions to what you can make with the design space. Season 5 was also quite possibly the most technical season to date, as it featured no flavor-oriented prompts. Not only was everything in this season very mechanical, but also turned the mechanics into new ways not just for the competitions, but just for Hearthstone in general. I can probably consider this to be one of the strongest seasons so far in terms of its prompt design, and we have the winners of each competition to thank for that. If you have anything you'd like to say about the season as a whole, we have a thread specifically for collecting feedback.
It's time to see what exactly the community cooked up over 20 weeks of fun competition. As with Season 3, there were no side-comps in this season.
- Only Warrior card to win a competition this season.
- Seventh card to achieve a score of 4.00 or higher.
- Only Rogue card to win a competition this season.
- First location to win a competition (you know, the theme and all that).
- Highest scoring card of the season.
- Eighth card overall to achieve a score of 4.00 or higher.
- Only Hunter card to win a competition this season.
- As of this competition, Linkblade91 is the first person to achieve 10 wins.

Demon Hunter and Mage are the only two classes without any winning cards in this season. On the other side of spectrum is Druid, Priest, Shaman, and Warlock all tied for the most with 4.
