Marvel Snap's new season has started, and it's S.W.O.R.D. and S.H.I.E.L.D.! The new season brings with it a new Season Pass for players to purchase and complete to get a new card and exclusive cosmetics. It also brought a rank reset for all players, so it's time to start climbin' again.

🔒///CLASSIFIED TOP SECRET///🔒
It's time for the next season of MARVEL SNAP—S.W.O.R.D. and S.H.I.E.L.D.
Intel reveals the addition of a new card (Nick Fury), fresh variants, avatars, and card backs!
🔒///END OF BRIEF///🔒
The new card is Nick Fury, a 5-Cost card with 7 Power whose text reads: "Add 3 random 6-Cost cards to your hand." His effect gathers a group of remarkable cards to see if they can become something more; to see if they can work together when the player needs them to, to win the Locations that we never could. It could go great with The Collector and Devil Dinosaur.
Also, because it's now 8 weeks since it was added to the game, July's Season Pass Card, Thor, has now been added to the Collection Level in Pool 3. (UPDATE: It turns out that Thor is not moving to Pool 3 just yet. This movement requires a Patch, and the next Patch has been delayed to 2-3 weeks from the start of the Season.)
Quick breakdown of the Season Pass's cosmetics:
- Variants for Nick Fury, Iron Man, and Agent 13
- Nick Fury and Agent 13 Avatars
- Two cardbacks: one themed for S.H.I.E.L.D., one for Hydra
And don't worry if you aren't in the beta; the developers have confirmed that all cosmetics from the beta (including those exclusive to Season Pass) will be available to be earned by all players after the game's global launch (Source). We'll keep you posted about any new launch information when it is announced; currently, global launch's ETA is still unknown.
Beta Pre-Registration for Colombia
With the new season comes the news that Marvel Snap's player base is expanding into Latin America: players in Colombia can now pre-register for the game's beta.
MARVEL SNAP is coming to Colombia 🇨🇴
Pre-register on Google Play
This is bigger news than just the expansion, as the developers have earlier stated that the game won't be able to have its global launch until it is localized into 15 non-English languages. The expansion into Colombia gives us hope that Spanish, at the very least, is mostly ready. 1 down, 14 to go.
