Our patience has been rewarded, and at least some of our careful predictions have been confirmed, now that the upcoming Mini-Set for Murder at Castle Nathria has just been announced! It's actually right around the corner, releasing as soon as September 27. And we're in for a very short, yet very intense card reveal period.
Here is the official announcement with the three new cards (one each for Druid, Rogue, and Shaman) and the full reveal schedule attached below:
The Maw and Disorder Mini-Set for Castle Nathria
As usual we're going to see 35 new cards total, with a special trial theme visible throughout! The full patch notes should arrive a day earlier on Monday, September 26, once all reveals have wrapped up.
Whatever pun might be in play here, we wonder.

The Maw and Disorder Mini-Set, launching worldwide on September 27, consists of 35 new cards: 4 Legendary cards, 1 Epic card, 14 Rare cards, and 16 Common cards. Those new cards can be found in Murder at Castle Nathria cards packs, or the entire 66-card* Mini-Set can be bought together. Normal versions can be bought in-game only, for 2000 Gold or 1500 Runestones. The all-Golden version can be purchased for $69.99 or 7000 Runestones.
* Includes one copy of each Legendary card and two copies of each other card.
Stunning Accusations, Settled in a Court of Maw
Tensions are high in the courtroom as this Mini-Set brings a series of Accusation spells, advanced Infuse cards, and tons of synergies. With all these powerful tools at your disposal, you have everything you need to build your case and put your opponent away for good!

Card Reveal Schedule
Whew... that is a lot lined up one after another. Every day will bring something new, with Legendaries getting their own time slots alongside Neutral and Class cards. At least there is an easy theme to follow.
Finally, the day before the release will belong all to Hearthstone Mercenaries, followed by the full patch notes. The upcoming major Patch 24.4 is also meant to bring some new content, while the other notable game mode improvements and excess coin solutions are scheduled for the next pre-expansion Patch 24.6.

No announcement trailer this time? No singing taurens, no nothing? Im slightly disappointed. Are we actually going to advance the plot at all?
But cards;
Murder Accusation - Can't see where this can fit in to be honest. Rogue rarely plays control cards that can't also strike face and most of their assassinate options are attached to minions. On top of the fact that rogue doesn't really play control at all. Maybe secret rogue? but thats the lowest of the low right now.
Dew Process - Its an aggro druid card. Or its a massive anti control card, either way this card has potential. But its the sort of card that'll never be good because team5 will immediately nerf it if it is. Its sole purpose here is to either lose you the game or make your oppponent quit in disgust
Totemic Evidence - Potentially a standout card because its a 1 mana flood board and as such combos well with cards like Bloodlust, Evolve, or Bioluminescence but lets be honest here; its made entirely for Windshear Stormcaller, as though as totem shaman in wild actually needs any help.
Murder Accusation looks for me more like Rogue card not Druid (black background instead of brown).

Again no trailer for the mini-set? And just like last time the mini-set feels really disjointed from the main set. The expansion was all about who killed Sire Denathrius and now we are suddenly following Sylvanas in a Trial without even getting a resolution? A simple cinematic about murloc holmes pointing out that the murderer was posessed by Sylvanas, that Denathrius survived it and that he sends Sylvanas to this trial would have been enough for me to fill this gap.
On the flip side this mini-set seems like it again has a bunch experimental cards in just like the last ones. Even if those mechanics don't make it into the meta it's still cool that those mechanics exist now.
Also yay that Mercs "time to shine" atleast gets mentioned this time. We already know that the pve endgame likely comes out at the end of the year, but hopefully it includes the coin exchange that was mentioned in the 24.0 patchnotes.
Edit: this was posted on Discord by one of the merc content creators that has a reveal on September 26. You know, at this point I take anything.

Caught a glimpse of it as well, thanks for sharing! I think we may wait until all the card reveals are done for today and then post a separate update to talk a bit more about Mercs. Only fair to give the mode some extra spotlight.
And sadly, it would seem they have given up on special trailers for the Mini-Set. I guess too much cost investment as deemed by the higher-ups? It's sad, now we'll only get a semi-trailer with gameplay for each major patch, if the trend continues.
They better make a jazzy intro for this set. I love hearthstone and his jokes
