March of the Lich King, Hearthstone's latest huge expansion, went live earlier in the week. And while many players are having fun with the new cards and, of course, the new Death Knight class, some individuals took the occasion to see what's up for Duels. After all, Team 5 introduced two brand new heroes for the mode in Scarlet Leafdancer and Sai Shadestorm, so it is only natural for the community to want to experiment with them! In case you missed any of our previous coverage on the novelties introduced to Duels with Patch 25.0, make sure to check out the following articles, and see how right or wrong it all turned out to be:

Unfortunately, the biggest expansion ever and an accompanying large patch also meant the introduction of a number of annoying bugs. Some of them have already been fixed or adjusted (like the revamped Buckets System), while others remain for the time being. As such, don't be surprised if some of the new Treasures or cards that you can get your hands on don't end up working as intended or live up to their full potential.

With all that being said, below you'll find a handful of 12-win decks achieved with multiple classes, including the two new Death Knights - have fun and good luck with your own attempts!

In case you missed them, we have published other collections of 12-win Duels starting decks to take inspiration from!

Disclaimer: Some decks in this article were collected from Firestone. You can find out more about Firestone and install the app here!

If you've had 12 win luck in Duels, be sure to add your starting decks to our site via the deckbuilder and share them in the comments below! Moreover, if you manage to find even more 12-wins decks (maybe even your own!) and you'd like us to showcase them, please contact us on Twitter at @Avalon_OOC or through an in-site ping in Private Message.

Fliboce's 12 Wins Frost Sai

Let's begin with a collection of Death Knight starting decks, featuring both Sai Shadestorm and Scarlet Leafdancer.

Starting from Sai, our Fliboce managed to find the right formula to hit 12 wins with a triple Frost starting deck. More information in the quote below, but to sum it up... Glaciaxe and Cold Feet Pact are very strong!

Quote From Fliboce

12 Wins Frost Sai! I'm 99% sure on the starting list, deck kinda builds itself. Cold Feet Pact lets you spam Hero Power to constantly juice up the Grooms. Or you can get Bitter Cold from Tier 1 if you're luckier than me. Idk why, but I never saw the bad T2 Frost Passives

Glaciaxe is crazy strong. I never even triggered the 2nd Deathrattle, because opponents just… die faster lol. Also, people often don't expect the 10 dmg from Marrow Manipulator, it's a great finisher.

Filthy Franco's 12 Wins BFF Sai

What if you give up a Frost Rune for a Blood one? Sure, you won't be able to count on Lady Deathwhisper, Marrow Manipulator and Frostwyrm's Fury, but at the same time you'll get your hands on Gnome Muncher and Patchwerk.

In the end, you give up some combo/burst potential in order to increase your chances against aggro and other combo decks.

AgentCroque's 12 Wins Unholy Sai

Frost, Frost/Blood... and Unholy! AgentCroque hit the jackpot with the starting deck you see below, featuring the triple Unholy Rune cards Plagued Grain, Grave Strength and Lord Marrowgar.

To top everything off, Sire Denathrius capitalizes on all your minions that died during the game, giving you hand burst to finish games you cannot close by building up a board and hitting your opponent where it hurts.

While Croque picked Inexorable Ghoul as Signature Treasure, he suggests using Gluth instead.

Firestone - 12 Wins Unholy Scarlet

After Unholy Sai, let's take a look at Unholy Scarlet. The starting list is very similar, with minor changes aimed at improving the already excellent corpse generation; of course, the major differences reside in the Hero Power and the Signature Treasure, with Blood Parasite synergizing very well with the Greedy Gains Passive Treasure.

Firestone - 12 Wins Relic Demon Hunter

No new cards, but a very good example of how the new Bucket System works. All of Demon Hunter's Relic cards belong to the Murder at Castle Nathria expansion, so building your starting deck around this set will increase your mid-run buckets' consistency.

Firestone - 12 Wins Quest Armor Druid

The usual Questline Lost in the Park Omu, but with the brand new Armor package with Anub'Rekhan being the centerpiece of this strategy.

Anub'Rekhan allows you to combine Brann Bronzebeard and Astalor Bloodsworn or Guff the Tough for impressive swing turns. Moreover, Crypt Keeper is a solid Taunt minion that can be cheated out for free and shield you from early aggression.

Firestone - 12 Wins Arcane Hunter

March of the Lich King brought Hunter a weapon package and Arcane synergy: the starting deck showcased below features both of them. Although Grommash's Armguards isn't a bad Passive by any means, we think that Arcane Flux has what it takes to dramatically improve your deck's consistency.

Disclaimer: this 12-win run was achieved before Blizzard surprised us with an unexpected balance patch, in which Shockspitter's cost was increased to 3 mana (up from 2).

Firestone - 12 Wins Big Paladin

The usual Big Humble Blessings Paladin, but with the new Anachronos Legendary as an additional way to buy time or two turn the tides in your favor. Moreover, post-Blessings Lor'themar Theron will make your 3/3/3s even better.

Red's 12 Wins Concoction Miracle Rogue

Basically the same reasoning as for Relic Demon Hunter, but for March of the Lich King's Concoctions. In particular, this list combines this package with Murder at Castle Nathria's Miracle cards to build up tall minions with little mana at one's disposal.

Both Passive Treasures picked in this featured run, Location, Location, Location! and Khadgar's Scrying Orb, are as good as you can ever wish for.

Firestone - 12 Wins Discard Warlock

Another way to exploit the current bucket system is playing Imp/Discard Warlock. Both Silverware Golem and Malchezaar's Imp are from the One Night in Karazhan set, which brought only 3 Warlock cards to the game: including Golem and Imp to your starting deck will manipulate your mid-run buckets so that you'll be offered plenty of them.

Moreover, you'll get a chance to play the brand new 'Disco' cards in Scourge Supplies, Walking Dead and Soul Barrage.

Ultrarotom's 12 Wins Bomb Warrior

At last, here's another starting deck that doesn't use new cards, but is really good at punishing unoptimized decks that are yet to get used to the new bucket system. Use Magnetic Mines to shuffle bombs into your opponent's deck, slowly (but steadily) winning the psychological warfare and, eventually, the game.
