Marvel Snap's March season has started, and it's Days of Future Past! The new season brings with it a new Season Pass for players to purchase and complete to get a new card and exclusive cosmetics. It also brought a rank reset for all players, so it's time to start climbin' again.

The Sentinels have arrived and they've brought back-up…

Welcome to MARVEL SNAP's latest season…

Days of Future Past

The Season is broken into four week-long chapters, with Chapter Missions to complete for Season Pass XP. To start us off, Chapter 1: "Mutants - Surrender or Face Termination," has its first three Missions unlocked.

Days of Future Past Season will end at 7 PM PT on Monday, April 3 (2 AM UTC on Tuesday, April 4).

The Quick Breakdown

Nimrod Card ImageWhen this is destroyed, add a copy to each other location.

Days of Future Past Season Pass card, Nimrod, is a 5 Cost card with 5 Power and "When this is destroyed, add a copy to each other location." It can be picked up by purchasing the Premium Season Pass. If you don't buy the Premium Pass, you can earn it on the Collection Ladder after it is added to Series 5 following this Season, or later when it is added to Series 4 in a Series Drop.

Last Season's Season Pass card, MODOK, is now exclusive to Series 5. Look for previous Season Pass card Zabu to move from Series 5 to Series 4 during this month's Series Drop.

The Premium Season Pass's exclusive cosmetics:

  • Variants for Nimrod, Wolverine, and Sentinel
  • Nimrod, Wolverine, and Sentinel Avatars
  • A card back
  • Two Titles

New Cards:

  • Master Mold: [2/2], "On Reveal: Add 2 Sentinels to your opponent's hand." (Releasing March 14).
  • Kitty Pryde: [1/2], "You can return this to your hand to gain +2 Power." (Releasing March 21).
  • Negasonic Teenage Warhead: [3/4], "After ANY card is played here, destroy this card AND that card." (Releasing March 28).

Days of Future Past New Locations:

  • Orchis Forge: After you playa card here, add a Sentinel to your hand.
  • Krakoa: On turn 5, takes over and plays both players' cards for them.
  • Asteroid M: After you play a 3- or 4-Cost card, move it here.

Rank-Up Improvement

Second Dinner is testing a new way to reward players for hitting a new rank. In previous seasons, the first time you hit a new rank, the game would spot you an extra 10 Cubes, letting you move up an extra level after ranking up. This season, that boost is increasing:

Quote From Stephen

We have seen the excitement and anticipation around us discussing more about our plans to improve ranked mode and the matchmaking experience. We want to share more information about the future.

Our first short-term improvement goes live with the start of the new season. We're increasing the amount of bonus cubes earned when reaching a new tier from 10 to 50. However, we are not done making adjustments!

Stay tuned for a new blog including future plans for ranked mode and matchmaking in the next week or two.

Quote From Stephen

Seeing a lot of confusion on my last tweet. Every new tier you reach (i.e. Rank 20, 30, 40, …, 90) you previously received 10 bonus cubes or 1 rank. This season you will get 50 bonus cubes or 5 ranks.

This is just the start, as it appears we'll also be receiving matchmaking changes in the near future. If you need us, we'll be dusting off the world's tiniest violin to play for everyone currently rocking the "This Matchmaking Sucks" Title.

Ranked Rewards

Speaking of ranks, it's time to get up that ladder once again. All players have been reset thirty levels from their rank at the previous Season's end (if you were somewhere in Diamond, you should be starting at Level 30 Silver). You won't drop below Iron (Rank 10). Below are the ranked rewards for Days of Future Past season. You'll have to play ten games to earn the ranked rewards you've already unlocked post-reset.

Iron (10)200 Credits
Bronze (20)40 Boosters
Silver (30)250 Credits
Gold (40)"Guess Who's Back?" Title

Vibranium (70)500 Credits
