Thanks to Kozmic for pointing out the Legends of Runeterra weekly reset for the Vault changed to Tuesday instead of Friday. This turns out to be important for players because early access starts on a Thursday.
On Discord one of the LoR developers, Strokke (who I believe is Blake Midstokke, Gameplay Director), confirmed this change.

Enthusiasm for this title is rapidly diminishing... registered in mid-October and still haven't received a beta key; every time I check my status, it states it is pending (and that I should just wait). The website doesn't give you the option to enter a support ticket (the only link that works goes to a LoL support ticket submission screen)... Does not bode well with me for polish and play of the actual game...

Very helpful, I didn't realize patience and proactive attempts at resolution suggested a need for an attitude adjustment.
Your reaction to the situation was the opposite of patient.
Your "proactive attempt at resolution" consisted of badmouthing Riot for no reason whatsoever.
The course of action of a patient person would be to check news articles and forums to see what the status page is supposed to look like at this stage. The patient person would quickly figure out that everything is fine and no further action is required on anyone's part.
A patient person would certainly not claim that their enthusiasm was waning for a game they were very obviously desperate to play. A patient person would not lash out at the company providing the service so strongly desired.
LOL I didn't badmouth Riot, just stated my own personal enthusiasm was diminishing and related what I experienced. I stated it doesn't bode well in my opinion, but never stated Riot was a company that no one should ever support (or whatever you are assuming I feel regarding Riot). I only expressed concern that there was conflicting information (and yes, I checked forums and website articles and determined that others had some luck where I had not) regarding the messages delivered by Riot to me via the registration emails and what was reported by other users (which, I believe, should be taken with a grain of salt).
I would also suggest that your assumption that I am "very obviously desperate to play" LoR is also misguided, as I don't think I am ever desperate to play any game; I have on this website recommended caution before jumping on any hype train. I also have not "lashed out" at anyone, either individual or company (not sure where that came from). To be honest, the only person I think that has "lashed out" at anyone here would be your first sarcastic comment directed at me.
Your free to think this however; I hope the experience is rewarding and that LoR is all you hope it will be. I hope it exceeds my expectations as well, although I am not as confident as I once was. I hope that final statement is one you do not find offensive, for yourself or on Riot's behalf. Be well.
The game has only been available for 2 separate testing periods, each lasting about a week, since the announcement last year. When the game returns, and in an open state next week, it will have been just over 2 months since anyone outside of Riot has been able to play.
I understand the frustration, but this information was shared quite a bit with everyone on their side, and we've published it at least a handful of times.
Game is amazingly polished btw. I don't see how the lack of a Runeterra-specific support ticket showcases otherwise since their official FAQs stated how everything was going to work.
I hope you download the game next week when access is open to all on the 24th and get a chance to give it a shot!
but open beta means u can start right away from 24th january.

This is great I had the chance to play both close Beta I have to say its great but the gameplay gets boring in a wile I don't now if its the lack of cards bc its new , what I know is the game can be a huge success .
