It looks like we're getting a round of updates to Hearthstone's Battlegrounds later this month!
Hearthstone's own Dean Ayala has confirmed that the team is planning on making a balance patch available for Battlegrounds sometime later this month. No exact specifics are available yet on what exactly is going to be changing, though they will announce them when they're closer to finalizing the patch.
This news comes to us alongside the update that Tirion is being removed from Battlegrounds either this week or next.

It's time Cobalt, now it's your turn!
I don't think any particular strategy stands out as overpowered right now, there are however large power gaps between heroes.
I'd like to see Deathwing and Dancing Daryl nerfed as they are easy top4s (and often top2) with minimal effort.
On the other hand some heroes like Lord J and Patchwerk are just bad and it seems like Milhouse isn't just some hero people haven't figured out, but simply weak.
Finally i'd like to see Rafaam leave the BGs as i find him extremely unfun to play against.
Tirion is the only hero who had a useful power early, mid, and late game. Even Rafaam drops off at some point (although he should probably leave too).
A better "nerf" to tirion would be to make other classes want to buy neutrals. The problem with tirion isnt him being overpowered it's with him being consistent from early to late game and that's because unlike jaraxxus no one wants to buy the shitty neutral minions except for tirion, no one is buying bolvars no one is buying di vine shield girls. Give more synergy with these minions and minions with tribes and other classes will pick them, and also get cobalt to tier 4 at least, cobalt doesnt even need a lot of synergy to win with him and with the new divine shield murloc it's even more cancer, just buff the cobalts attack a bit get some micro bots and you win. And people are talking Bout if you remove cobalt mecha with have no other way to win, but you can still have cobalt on 4 and still do cobalt shit, since it doesnt require a lot of buffing to be good unlike floating watcher. Get over it.
Tbh I don't see the point of removing Tirion now - for sure he was over-powered pre- the Dragon update, but post- he's been nerfed quite nicely as the early non-tribe minions have been diluted with dragons. That's one man's opinion of course - I don't have the access to stats of Blizzard.
I don't see nerfing Cobalt either - he's the only reason for playing mechs now, if you nerf him you might as well take out the whole tribe.
I did play tirion couple of times post nerfs still easy top 4. Even though first time I was even unlucky and didn't get any neutrals first 2 turns...
Not getting any neutral for first 2 turns is not even that unlucky....
Fair enough - I'll be sorry to see him go personally but I have an unreasonable fondness for Righteous Protector and I can't expect everyone else to be punished for it.
Plus further nerfed - Tirion this is - by the addition of other powerful heroes such as Galkarond of course
You are really starting to post too much unnecessary articles with no new information. If the goal is to spark discussion, why isn't this simply a new forum thread? I expect these articles to cover an update to the game, not a speculation or an announcement that an update might happen sometime in the future. I used to read every article here, but it's getting overwhelming, especially with news from other games you started covering being cluttered all over the main page. Just my opinion of course.

I agree that this little barrage of detail-less articles is a bit bland. However, regarding your point about other games, use the portal button to filter them out. I come here for Hearthstone only, and the portal button does that perfectly. They even recently made it better so it filters out forum threads too. I get ALL Hearthstone, and ONLY Hearthstone.
Tirion was pretty OP. I won so many lobbies with him and always ended up at least top 4. If you found the right minions on turn 1 and 2 it was basically GG.
Will they finally nerf Cobalt? Probably not. I’m interested to see what will change, my experience has been solid so far tbh
