The Switch might still be worth a purchase, since it has a huge library and I don't expect it to lose suppoer just yet (at least from Nintendo, third parties are probably gonna jump ship). But, seeing as the new consoles is expected to be backwards compatible with the Switch, it's probably best to wait.
As for Christmas, uhhh... The Switch launched in March, so it's possible they do the same here.
"Oh? Oh, ho, ho! Do you hear that? There's the ticking. The mini-set is coming. Will it have more Minis? Tick, tick, tick. Maybe more callback cards. Tick, tick, tick! Ehehe, huhu, hehe, haha!"
Just finished the Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown (great time), making my way through Shadow of the Colossus (the horse sucks), will maybe start a New Game + for Ghost of Tsushima (latest update added stuttering, waiting for a fix).
Been on Steam since 2012, so that goes to about 135 USD per year. Of course, it doesn't include spending in other places (though I'm sure Steam is more than all of those combined), so it's not that much.
I actually played quite a bit last season after not touching the game in a long time, lol. Made it to Gold 5 in Wild with Renethal Rainbow DK and was playing a bunch of Battlegrounds. Will see if I get back to it.
When SMITE had a crossover with Transformers, I lost my mind. Now, my reaction is mostly just "Oh, neat". It's not really that special anymore.
I feel like these would be a lot more interesting if they were inspired by the property they're crossing over with, rather than being just the characters themselves.
Didn't expect to see Babyface from Toy Story in this set. Also, I just realized Demon Hunter got a "Spirit of the..." card, but Death Knight, the class that most uses Undead, didn't. Maybe the mini-set.
Stitchensew: "Mr. Boom, why is there a fuse attached to that Rumbunctious Stuffy?"
Boom: "Oh, don't worry about it, it's just aesthetic. And I told you it's DOCTOR Boom!"
Stitchensew: "And I told you that having a PhD in engineering and robotics doesn't make you a doctor."
Boom: "I don't expect a guy who can't properly explain his own effect to understand etymology."
Stitchensew: "You're one to talk, Mr. 'WARNING: Bots may explode'!"
Boom: "Don't tick me off, Stitchens**t! I'm still mad Rafaam couldn't get Lazul and Togwaggle here for a proper E.V.I.L. reunion. Idiot even convinced me to give up my place in the Core se-HEY! Mr. author of this comment! I feel like you're loosing the plot here!"
It's only lethal if the board is clear and you survive until then, which won't happen if you just cast random machine-gun spells all game. The spell is probably better suited for a control deck that helps you get the board back. It's less "Best use of the spell", and more "Best deck it could be used in".
I only included spells that deal direct damage. Obviously, Rune is great and Puzzlebox of Yogg Saron is the objectively funnier choice over Volley. I just got lazy typing :P
Fixed both corrections, thanks! The Damnation part wasn't a typo, I genuinely thought that's what it was called.
"Behold, Perry the Platysaur! My Replicator-inator!"
Granted, the flavor text is also a Phineas and Ferb reference.

If you play an OTK deck and don't yell "EXODIA, OBLITERATE!" when hitting them for Lethal, why are you even playing it?

Alright, Blizzard, we get it, The Crystal Cove is a reference to The Caverns Below, no need to re-enact its stat changes.
Also, nice "buff" to Sunset Volley, not like that's killing an entire archetype (though it's probably for the best).

Yeah, VI, I pressed the I key an extra time. Whoops.
Just reached Gold earlier today. Guess what deck I was playing.
Some highlights from the final match before Gold against a Plaguexcavate DK:
Good, maybe now Reddit can stop complaining about Pala-ZILLIAX?! What'd he do?! He's innocent, I tell ye, INNOCENT!

Yeah, hopefully the mini-set. Like, Togwaggle trying to steal a bunch of toys from the workshop is a neat storyline.

If anyone wonders what math has to do with a toy expansion, that's a metaphor for your parents telling you to stop playing and do your homework :P
Not as weird as SMITE x Transformers, but it's up there.

Or maybe I'm completely off.
Yeah, meant enemy hero.
