Challenge a Friend in New System

I'm sure it's too early to tell, but I was wondering if anyone has heard whether or not all existing quests will be ported to the new system with appropriately adjusted XP rewards?

Specifically thinking about the Challenge a Friend for 80 gold quest that exists now as I got it today and then challenged a friend.  I was thinking after how this particular quest might not be continued, and how sad that would seem.  I have never personally participated in the 80g quest sharing as I have local friends I usually trade those with.  But I know many people save them until they can get a trade through the forums and double their shared gold.

Would be sad to see it go.  Maybe it'll still be around.  But unless any specifics have been shared about if any current quests won't be ported over we'll just have to wait and see I guess.

Theres no confirmation, but it'll still probably be better to finish up all the quests before the new system starts.

Basically there's cap. I know its possible to get 150 gold per level past that, but let's be honest; we have no idea how easy it would be to reach that cap, nor how cumbersome it would be to exceed it. Best to get the guaranteed gold while you can, even if they would be converted when the new system kicks in (which I honestly doubt would heppen)

Well, in the official annoucement, they have already stated:

Please note that when the Progression revamp goes live, all Quests (with the exception of Starter, Returning Player, and Duels Legendary Quests) will reset, so be sure to complete any old Quest you have in your log by November 11! 

So the answer is no, there is no Daily Quest convertion, you will just lose it along with the gold if you keep it :/

I usually get 2-3 per week (I try to keep 200 friends) and between 8-10k gold by the start of the new expansion, It'd be saddening to see them go. I'm VERY certain I won't get as much with the new system.

Oh I'll definitely finish up ALL my quests the day before the launch.  But I am more wondering if they might have a similar quest where you challenge a friend and both get XP instead of gold.  For that we'll likely have to wait and see

By conversion or "porting" of quests I didn't mean carrying over what you still have in your log.  I meant more if they will have the same type of quests given out or not with the new system.  In other words, do you think there will be a similar quest that they give out?  Challenge a friend, you both get X point towards your progression track
