Has Blizzard explained anywhere why did they takeaway some of the stats from the profile page?

where are my total arena wins? where are my total ranked wins(I cba to open a calculator and add all my wins from different classes, please don't suggest)?

Its still there. Im not sure if you're playing on mobile, but on pc it's the last button when you press the journal on the front screen (that icon that looks like a purple quill pen). Displays all your stats, arena, ranked, bg, duels

Yeah, I´m missing it too.

@dapperdog I´m sure OP meant the total wins and Hero LVL count, not just highest rank in Play mode, best Arena key or Battleground/Duels rating. Total wins were originally in the quest log, but now it´s just sumary of the best ranks, not actual numbers of all wins.

Yep, like Alleria has said, I used to be able to see my total wins since the beginning of hearthstone for arena and separately for other play modes(I believe the play counter also included tavern brawl wins)

but now for some reason they decided to remove this which I don't understand at all why
