Hearthstone's Celestalon has confirmed that Nozdormu Day is going to be more than a late tweet from Blizzard.

Nozdormu Day, which was first acknowledged in a less than ideally timed tweet back in April of this year, has been a frustrating experience for Hearthstone players since its inception. To those of us that want to take part in the "event", it becomes a never-ending search on the ladder to find another player that wants to make use of the memery that Nozdormu is. As it turns out, Speedstone is hard to play when no one else is queueing up with Nozdormu decks on the ladder. So much so that Blizzard tweeted about it yesterday as it was turning midnight in the western side of Europe - very poor timing.

For those not in the know, the idea behind Nozdormu Day is that everyone includes Nozdormu the Eternal in their decks to activate a fast-paced version of Hearthstone reminiscent of the original Nozdormu, whose effect would only last as long as the card remained on the field. Unfortunately, with little incentive beyond the potential fun, this has been quite hard to accomplish.

While Blizzard has not yet confirmed how they are going to be celebrating Nozdormu Day in-game, nor do we know when tech that helps this will be added to the game, we do now at least have confirmation for us Nozdormu lovers that this feat may become much easier to pull off in the future.

Don't worry, we've definitely heard the feedback that Nozdormu day needs to be in-client to be truly successful. Stay tuned. :)

We could see this being included as a special event legendary quest once a month, requiring players to play a few games with Nozdormu in their decks to earn some gold. We still may not see Nozdormu in every game, but at least the potential to see the effect would increase.
