I think at 4 mana it's not really strong enough, considering it would only delay an aggro deck and do nothing against control/combo. I feel like the way to use it is in the lategame, either to heal yourself for 10 or to protect an important minion.
true, but that would require the control deck really having no way to deal with it. Consider that the current contro ldecks are warrior with Omega Devastator and MAYBE shaman with access to cards like Hex and Plague of Murlocs
Honestly, this may be one of the best designed Hearthstone cards. A solid minion to help against early game aggression and it can be more consistent late game provided it doesn't die. If you're going to lose the game, this card may give you an extra turn, but it also isn't a way to completely turn the tides.

I really liked the design of this card too when it was revealed. Now a month into SoU I realize I still haven't seen it in play, not even through random card generation, once.
I guess this could potentially be used, in order to stop the opponent's aggression on turn 4 (the enemy would just hold their attack) and bring you to turn 5, when you can use Brawl, Mass Hysteria or maybe other mid-game shenanigans to regain board control.

This will be fun to experiment in silence priest and it will also have good utility to not go into fatigue potentially.
If you have 2 of this in fatigue and opponent cannot remove them you can go infinite
Might even consider Augmented Elekk just to be sure

If control deck cannot remove it and you have 2, you will never fatigue and fatigue is how control often wins

Pretty good in silence Inner Fire priest. Anti-synergies with Lady in White.
