We've got an update to the known issues thread on the official Hearthstone forums and one particular issue with Mercenaries should have a fix tomorrow (December 8).

Of the three issues tonight, there's two really big points of frustration with Achievements and Mercenaries. For Achievements, if you were an unfortunate soul that claimed Drek'Thar or Vanndar Stormpike in the patch prior to Alterac Valley, the collection achievements are not triggering correctly. Luckily for us achievement hunters, Blizzard is actively working on a solution and with the type of problem it is, we're expecting a server-side fix to take place so no new client patches - yay.

On the other side of things, we've got a Mercenaries issue that is completely unintentional according to Blizzard. Players were quick to notice today that the experience gained towards the rewards track in Mercenaries was lower than before. Blizzard assures us that this is a glitch and they will be fixing it. Currently, we aren't sure if they will be fixing experience gains retroactively or if we're just going to have to suck it up, but we're sure that information will become apparent on December 8 when they put in a fix.

Overall, not a bad expansion launch as far as issues go! Read on for the full known issues thread updates for today.

  • (Added 12/7) There is currently a bug where Drek’Thar/Vanndar does not count for collection Achievements if you claimed it in patch 21.8. We are working on a solution for this.
  • (Added 12/7) We are aware that Maestra is back to her old tricks–or lack of tricks?–and sometimes “disguising” herself as a Rogue. The team is investigating the issue.
  • (Added 12/7) There is currently a bug reducing the intended experience gain in the Mercenaries mode. Update: The team is preparing a hotfix to the issue, targeting a fix to go out some time tomorrow.
