Hearthstone Battlegrounds has received some fresh cosmetics in the shop today and with that also comes new bundles. Let's see what we've got!
Introducing Battlegrounds Finishers
We've got the first-ever Battlegrounds Finisher in the shop! "Astral Impact" is $4.99 USD and adds a special animation when you are victorious in combat.
- Astral Impact's first stage finisher is a sweeping animation.
- Astral Impact's second stage finisher, when you deal 15 damage or more, is a large rotating projectile.
New Game Board - Astral Study
The third game board for Hearthstone Battlegrounds, Astral Study is available for $9.99 USD.
New Bartender & Heroes - Bundle Only
We've got a new Bartender (Algalon) alongside six new hero skins for Battlegrounds.

Unfortunately, the only way to obtain these new skins, and Algalon, is in a bundle that comes with the finisher animation and game board. While it's a great deal at $24.99 USD, for players that are only interested in a couple of the hero skins, now you must buy even more cosmetics that you aren't interested in. Bold strategy from Blizzard, let's see if it pays off for them.
Who knows, maybe in the future we'll see the heroes in a bundle without the board and finisher.

I want finishers for real Hearthstone!
As much as the astral/cosmic skins look nice, I'm feeling no need or urge to get any of them ; If anything, it is what I like the most about Battleground, that you don't need to keep up with any collection to competitively play that game mode. And as far as game board goes, I'll wait for whales to share their board(s) with me when we face off!
I do feel quite a bit disadvantaged with the 2 choices vs paying players getting 4. I wish Hearthstone would just drop that and focus on the cosmetics for paying players.
