Classic gone, good idea, not sure what to play now.

That is really a bummer indeed. I wonder if the reason to replace Classic was strictly because the user interface did not allow it or whether it was also motivated by a financial one.

The recipe for making this new mode successful is having enough participating players which have to buy old expansion packs if they do not already own them yet.

To be honest, if you dont have a good collection now, its better to just quit the game. Hearthstone is fun, but its rather expensive and fairly hard to keep up with. Even most aggro decks nowadays need legendaries.

The only class you might be able to enjoy standard with is DK, but you'll likely still need some extra cards.

Or you can dabble with arena, just about the only mode that doesn't require a collection to have fun.

Oh man, I'm sorry for you. This has to be a pretty bad feeling for lots of Classic players.

One small positive note about Twist: We got confirmation that it is possible to buy pre-built decks for the format with real money and with gold. Depending on the cost of those, this might help out people with smaller collections.

I notice I am confused. Something I believe isn't true. How do I know what I think I know?
