Hearthstone's new Twist format is coming and today Blizzard has a preview event taking place with a ton of creators! Watch them live and you can earn yourself free card packs through Twitch Drops. You can watch any Hearthstone stream to earn these packs, details below.
- Watch for one hour to earn 1 Ashes of Outland pack, 1 Scholomance Academy pack, and 1 Darkmoon Faire pack.
- Watch for another hour to earn 1 Forged in the Barrens pack, 1 United in Stormwind pack, and 1 Fractured in Alterac Valley pack.
- Watch for a third hour to earn 1 Voyage to the Sunken City pack, 1 Murder at Castle Nathria pack, and 1 March of the Lich King pack.
As far as timing goes, drops are available starting at 9 AM Pacific on June 22 (when this article is live) and will run for 24 hours, so until June 23 at 9 AM Pacific (12 PM Eastern, 18:00 CEST).

So I watched the stream and its fun times seeing all these old favorites come back.
Here's some comments from myself;
- Stormwind and alterac absolutely dominated the deck choices Ive seen. No surprises here. Quest and hero cards are simply one step above most other cards.
- Not having neutral cards is actually limiting the variety, but more importantly, virtually guarantee that tech cards arent going to be a thing. So no weapon destructions, only two classes have silences, etc.
- Havent seen an aggro deck around, but that's hardly surprising. Most classes cant do it without neutral cards
So is it a mode Im looking forward to? Well...likely no. And the reason is because the stormwind quests are back (and in many cases unnerfed) and I simply dont want to go through all that again. Which brings me to the question of balancing, is team5 going to balance things at all in this mode? Or are they planning a twist every 2 months so balance is technically unnecessary?
They actually stated they want to change the rules every season aka month. I highly doubt that they are going to make any balance changes that are specifically targeted towards this mode, because of it's ever changing nature. In the worst case (a tier 0 deck) they are probably going to ban a card there for a couple weeks, until the next set of twist changes arrive.
Unless they said differently elsewhere, their words in the original reveal were "Twist formats are planned to change regularly, but not necessarily with every season."
My bad then, must have misremembered it. Though the qoute does make it sound like they atleast want to roughly hit the season mark.
While day dreaming about the new mode, I noticed that there isn't any weapon removal available ...
Hope I'm wrong on this one!
MC Blingtron is the only one afaik.
Even though it's just 1 pack for each expansion, it's still 9 packs which can help the dust collection
